This is also one of the fun place to visit. You can spend max 20 to 30 minutes over there. If you want to explore more place near here to need more time means this is at the downtown and lots of construction is going on. This is a tunnel where the rainbow Led lights is installed. There is two tunnel for traffic to pass and there is two tunnels in both side of road for president. You can enjoy the light while driving . But please go over there at night so you can enjoy the light more beautiful. I went at day time so it’s okay. You can see in the picture which I have uploaded. Any regarding parking there is lots of street parking with meters on . It’s only 50 cent for half an hours and you can pay only for 15 20 minutes also. Due to the lots of homeless guys stay over there and roaming over there the tunnel is dirty and smelly. But no worries about safety lots of security person are roaming around this area. Go and enjoy.

A very unique series of tunnels with neon lights. Best time I could suggest to go would be late evenings or early mornings. There are homeless folks that tend to sleep here, so just be observant. I’ve never had an issue personally.

Its very cool at night like really late and walking through. I made some instagram videos in these tunnels a couple times. But homeless people sleep in these tunnels so watch out.

Off the so-called beaten path....A lovely walk after the ballgame at Regions Park....This tunnel reminded me about life in China....If you get a chance to drive or walk the tunnel do it at night....My kiddos were amazed.

Nice little aesthetic icon in downtown Birmingham. Close to many restaurants, cafés, bars, parks, etc. Looks even better at night.

Pretty ok it is fun passing through. Sometimes there are people camping in there. They never have any marshmallows or even a camp fire. And they seem to always want change. Maybe they are short on cash for a better tent idk.

I seen this on the internet listed under things to do for free in Alabama. I live 30 minutes from Birmingham and never seen this tunnel so I figured I would take my kids to it. It looked way bigger and a lot neater in the pictures on the internet. My kids werent amused. Its still pretty cool looking though.

Pretty cool to drive through but the experience can be ruined depending on how many homeless people are sleeping underneath the bridge.

Its a really cool place to be in and drive through. Its great if you want to do an edgy photo shoot and the colors are changing constantly so you can get several different shots.

A really cool feature to explore Birmingham. May not be in the best part of town, but is cool to spend some time watching the changing light patterns.

Not so good. The tunnel took forever to change colors. Not a lot of places to park. About 30 kids/teens walking by.. abut 10 of them started jumping on all the parked cars. They jumped on our car with us in it. Not the best experience

A fun fixture of the park side area. There are actually 3 tunnels included in the installation. 14th st is the roughest and shortest to drive through as it is paved with cobblestone. The 19th and 20th street bridges are more colorful and active with their display. It also feels more secure walking through the 19/20th access points. Overall a great attraction.

It was so disappointing. It didnt even change colors in the time we waited and is such a small tunnel that i wouldnt even call it one. SKIP and save your time.
