St Helena’s Episcopal Church in Beaufort is a beautiful and historic church. I was able to take an official tour of the church and was impressed with all of the history and the knowledge of the tour guide. Everybody at the church was extremely friendly and welcoming and was happy to have us as guests. You can feel all of the history and years and centuries around you as you enter the church and explore. Everything is well maintained and taken care of here. I enjoyed my visit here and recommend visiting St Helena’s Episcopal Church if you are in Beaufort.

I had to give it 3 stars because it is closed until October, at least. They are working on it during the week. It looks pretty cool from the gate, though.

Beautiful! They had a docent on duty who was lovely! She was able to tell us about the history of the church as well as some of the noteable people buried there. A great free activity!

National treasure. The historic church is as honest and architecturally pure a building as a congregant could hope for. Truly a building with the echoes of our nation’s spiritual roots.

A beautiful historic church built in the mid 1700s. We had a very knowledgeable docent who shared the history of the church and it’s importance to the city. The graveyard around the church has many historical markers and each has a story of the persons interred there.
