Great park. Plenty of space for kids and adults to play. Park benches every where to sit and view the water. Places to eat all along the park. Great place to walk your dog. Dont miss this one.

This was one of the nicest waterfront recreational parks that Ive ever visited. The park was immaculate and free of trash. Across the street there are lots of stores ranging from candy to clothes. Around the outside parameter there is a wonderful assortment of outdoor/indoor restaurants. There are lots of seats and old fashioned multi- person wooden swings. This park also contains a huge pavilion where summer events a held throughout the season. I rate this an 8 out of 10 for overall satisfaction. Well worth making the effort to get there. Yes, there is plentiful free parking as well as handicapped parking.

We enjoyed Burford food and shops very much. Ended our time at the park before heading back home to Summerville.

This riverfront park is absolutely beautiful. The landscaping, trees and flowers are gorgeous. You can sit peacefully on the bench swings and look out at the water. Sometimes the swing bridge opens, to let the boats through. I also loved the little shops and cafes, where you can get something to eat or drink. Theres also a playground for kids and a big center stage area for events. I cant wait to keep going back!

Love taking my kids here to play! They have a really great time and always make new friends! And momma can sit on one of the bench swings and sip her coffee.

Henry C. Chambers Park is beautiful and serene. I used to visit it 40 years ago. The reason I gave only 4 stars was because the emptiness while there reminded me we were in Corona virus mode.

The Henry C. Chambers Waterfront Park in Beaufort is a great park that is beautiful and well maintained. I really like that this park runs a long length of the waterfront and there are there are perfect views of the water no matter where you are at the park. The walkway along the water is well paved and easy to walk. One of my favorite parts is the swings that face towards the water as there seems to be enough swings for everyone to enjoy even when the park is crowded as this is not the case in all waterfront parks that have more limited swing availability. There is also a lot of grass and green space at the park that is perfect for having a picnic or running around. Overall I really enjoyed this park and want to return soon.

Such a breathtaking place. We went kayaking and had a wonderful time with a company that is stationed there. The owner, Mike, is amazing. He gave us an informative tour as we paddled through the river. We had such a great time. If youre ever in Beaufort, make sure you head down to this area for a very serene experience.

My grandkids all got together to play on the updated playground. It was totally awesome, and they had an awesome time... beautiful scenery as well on the waterfront!

VERY nice area. I would however like to see YAKport Kayak Launch put in to assist people with balance issues to get in and out of their kayaks and into/out of the water.

Thibault Gallery has a wonderful selection of incredibly talented and diverse artists! I always see things I want either as gifts or for myself. I particularly enjoy the First Friday events because you get to meet the artists and its so interesting to get to know them. Mary and Eric Thibault are both such talented, kind, and fun people you cant help but love going in there! A very special place, indeed!

Beautiful waterfront park. Nice swings and bench seating are available. Numerous restaurants are located with water views and outside seating. Paninis had great sandwiches for lunch.

Grew up coming here but havent been here in years. Awesome upgrades and timeless beauty!

Took a tour on the Southern Rose Buggy tour very informative and impressive for the price. Tour guide very awesome! Would definitely recommend

Wife and I just moved to SC and just love going to Beaufort and setting in the swings at this park overlooking the boats. So peaceful.

This is a beautiful park by the waterfront in Beaufort, SC. There are a couple of restaurants in the area that you can sit outside at, with a view of the water. Also ice cream shops, novelty stores, etc., There are big swings that you can sit on looking over the water. One of my fave spots in Beaufort.

Gorgeous scenery in downtown Beaufort. We had dinner, by the waterfront, at Paninis followed by a walking ghost tour. Perfect summer evening.

Beautiful park on the water. Honestly this place is a must see if you have children and are in Beaufort for more than 2 minutes.

Great place for small kids and families. Pubs nearby where Dad can sneak away to and watch sports while Mom enjoys the fresh air with the kiddos

New playground downtown is really nice, my kids really enjoy all the equipment they have available and it spans many ages.

Hadnt been there in three years. It was fun to walk along the waterline. Found an amazing find of a dead sand dollar. Have to make sure they are dead. Lots of people collect them and they are still alive. Not cool. So many different kinds of birds. Hoping to see dolphins but didnt see any.

Highly recommended! Gorgeous downtown park area. Has a playground, swings facing the water to enjoy the sunset and we got lucky and saw some dolphins swim by at sunset. Quite magical! And all the shops and restaurants are a short walk. Be aware the parking meters are strictly enforced—to the minute. Make sure your meter is filled! We missed a ticket by about 30 seconds as we raced back to add more change!

The epitome of Lowcountry Beauty at the very heart of historic and charming Beaufort. Most of the restaurants offer splendid views of the river across the spacious pedestrian park.

This is an opportunity that no one should pass on. The city/county of Beaufort struck a homerun on this park. From the store owners to the weather. The restaurants on the river are phenomenal and the views priceless. Just spend three hours hear (easy) and thank God for the views.

Lovely waterfront area with great places to sit and watch sail boats and the turning bridge. Also, great place to walk or run. Playground area for children with a clean bathroom close by. Lots of restaurants, ice cream shops, and retail stores within walking distance. And also, located in a historic district so lots of historical places to visit and learn about Beaufort history.

This place was fantastic. I cant wait to go back and walk it again. Its a method to walk the back door of the Bay St businesses.A walk of respect to military members, and a brief Beaufort history compliment an historic member of South Carolina past.The playground was wonderful as well with numerous platforms to allow a little one to play safely and to indulge their imaginations.

Beautiful scenery and architecture. We took a buggy tour which was amazing and informative. Even had some surprise Black History on the tour.

I love water Waterfront Park. It is beautiful . Took daughter and grandchildren today. Had a great time. Only negative is there is really nothing for the teenagers to do. So we had a bored one in the group .

Such a beautiful place...could sit and relax and watch boats, there are restaurants and ice cream shops within walking distance and little shops to buy souvenirs. A play ground for kids and a bathroom that seemed well kept up.

Beautiful area for a walk around the grounds and the water. We brought a picnic lunch with us and ate it at one of the many tables. This place is well kept! Just gorgeous! Lots of shopping and restaurants, too!

Beautiful waterfront park with boats anchored at the docks. Several small restaurants, candy shops and gift shops. We drove here specifically today as the Santa Maria Flagship was in town for several days.

I love to take my son to the park right on the waterfront and then when swing on the bench swings together while eating pastries/sandwiches from the best local coffee shop: Common Ground!*Side note: we also love to go to Kilwins for homemade ice cream and chocolates or Yo-Yos frozen yogurt in the summertime!

We LOVE Beaufort! The waterfront park encompasses the beauty of Beaufort in one small little area. The swings are amazing to rest in after a romantic dinner and stroll. Dogs are welcome, and ours loved it! Watching the boats pass by are a great pastime.

Cool place on Beaufort South Carolina. Went on our way to Charleston because its the bridge that Forrest gump started his countrywide run at. Theres also a pirate ship there you can tour. The downtown area is really cool with alot of art studios. The food here was great on the water front. Park has couple benches with the vines growing on the sides its really neat and hip.

A fantastic place to explore if you are new to the area lots of little restaurants and boutiques. Beautiful waterfront views and a nice park area to relax.

Plenty of activities for all ages. Plenty of parking, activities for all ages, clean public restrooms. Wide variety of tours at reasonable prices. It was a last minute stop but Ill Definately make a few days out of Beaufort next time.

This is a park that attracts the best people of Beaufort. My children always enjoy playing with other children here and there has NEVER been a time that my Wife and I met a stranger. Everyones friendly, welcoming.Parking should be FREE on Sundays.

The waterfront park offers a great alternative, or a break, from several unique shops and diverse restaurants within close proximity. The park grants access for children and pets alike to roam while remaining in sight. Relatively easy and inexpensive parking is also nearby.

Great place to take a walk, take the kids and also get good food

I enjoy coming here to just set are walk its very relaxing. They have shops and a playground. Sometimes they have live music are a festival at times. But if you just want to set and watch the boats come in are go out I really enjoy it. You can see dolphins and some time of the year you can see whales. Come out for a visit

There was so many places and activities to do here at the waterfront. Shopping in the stores was hassle free and everyone there was friendly and helpful. The food was great too. The museum was a great place to start as the we journeyed to the rest of the island. Walking is your best friend so make sure you have comfortable shoes.

Beautiful scenery and some really great restaurants. Perfect for dates or dinner with the family. Large open spaces for kids to run and play or for you to just relax and take in the beautiful scenery and history. Great place to visit.
