Love it here! Such a great idea for family fun! Different quests for different ages. There is always help nearby. You can spend the day or come back & finish. Never seen anything like it!!!! Weve gone twice a few years apart & its so nice to see how well the kids did this time without so much help. Keeps them active & busy!!!

Super fun interactive experience spread on 4 levels. Become a Magi and Immerse yourself into a fantasy world filled with adventures, magical creatures and hidden treasures. Fight dragons and goblins, play with fairies and help pixies. My kids loved it. Many different quests to complete. Well worth the price and you get to keep your magic wand and use it again on your next visit. A must if you are in the Dells.

What a cool experience! It even brought out the inner nerd in my cheerleader best friend! (We are both in our 20s by the way and really got into it) It was slightly confusing at first, but once you get the hang of it, youre sure to have a great time. 100% doing this again next year (hopefully when covid is over and the jungle gym is open again)

We had fun as a family doing the scavenger hunt. We did have 1 daughter who has a hard time with heights so she didn’t do a few of the finds but she had others do it for her. We were there for 3-4 hours and it was reasonable priced as we bought 1 wand and did the magiquest. You don’t have to stay at the resort to do this.

Good Indoor Fun - Great for families! An hour to 90 mins of fun, constructive/critical thinking, and physical activity. Its a fairly small area, but is spread out over 2 floors. We picked the mid-level adventure for myself, my husband, and our 4 y/o son. We finished with just short of 5 mins to spare including our toddler in all quests. Definitely an interesting, unique addition for the trip!

My fiancé and I came here from MN for the first time after checking out from our overnight stay at Great Wolf Lodge during the first weekend of this new year (1/4-1/5) and we had a blast! If you were staying at the GWL unless you get the Paw Pass or whatever other pass they offer that bundles MagiQuest, itll be a little pricy depending on the wand and whatever topper you get along with the games, but all in all worth it for many hours of fun. Being that were both huge fans of anything fantasy and anthropomorphic, she really enjoyed the characters like the fairies while I enjoyed the many anthropomorphized creatures like the evil wolves and stuff.Best of all, these wands can be reused over and over again at any Great Wolf Lodge or only remaining standalone location in the US in Pigeon Forge, TN, and youll only have to worry about paying for the games since youll have everything you needed from the time prior.

Great for families, kids 4-9y had a lot of fun. Below 4y may not understand, older kids would enjoy it too, we as adults were entertained as we helped the younger kids. Very good value, the entire family did it together so you only need 1 wand and you can easily spend 4-6 hours beating everything.

Definitely had a blast! Our daughter was entertained for hours completely quests and adventures, finding gold and runes and discovering clues. Kept us moving around and as others have said a great workout! My only complaint would have to be staffing - only the one person working in the shop is available to help - who is often tied up with other customers or helping to sell merchandise and set up new users. Having one other person working to help answer questions or maybe even giving clues or charging gold for help would be a huge help and would have gotten all 5 stars. Will definitely return and don’t want to downplay the fun!

We purchased a PAW pass for our kids during our stay at Great Wolf Lodge, which was a great deal overall, and provides a wand and free game at MagiQuest. The facility was nice but some of the climbing and play areas were blocked off. MagiQuest is one of the most wholesome, active, and entertaining attractions we have done with our children in a long time. We went with 7 and 3 year old girls. Both loved the experience, and dare I say, we as adults also had a lot of fun. Imagine playing make-believe with your child with the added bonus of realistic setting, interactive characters, and physical movement through climbing features, stairs, slides, and multiple stories. Our children spent hours here on multiple days throughout the trip. The puzzles and riddles felt challenging enough for young and old alike. The gift store had numerous fun accessories, such as capes, wand belts, and more. The resort itself also incorporated elements of the experience throughout, as if MagiQuest could not be fully contained only in its designated section of the lodge.PROS-A popular attraction for a variety of people, young or old, but children between about 3 to 14 will probably be the best audience.-The attraction takes time to complete. Your money will provide 3 to 6 hours of entertainment minimum, but most likely much, much more.-You get to keep the variety of materials you receive at the start (wands and guide book).-MQ will challenge your children physically as they climb play structures and get from treasure to treasure and floor to floor.-MQ will challenge them mentally and socially as they figure out riddles, listen to hints, and inevitably end up working with other children around them to solve more difficult puzzles.-You can redo any quests or challenges you like after youve completed them.-Subtitles are available for the deaf or hard of hearing.-If you complete MQ, or simply want a different and harder challenge, they offer another experience you can do called ShadowQuest.CONS-As an adult, you may find the attraction physically demanding if you are chasing little ones for hours on end, or end up climbing nets and structures with the youngest in your group. Either way, be prepared for multiple flights of stairs. Thankfully, there is an elevator available for those who may not be able to take the multiple flights or who use mobility devices.-The wands and IR sensors can be a bit touchy at times. Sometimes you trigger something accidentally, or sometimes you have trouble triggering what you need.-Some areas were in need of repair (broken net that was cordoned off, some chests not working properly, some drinking fountains broken).-Pricing and gift shop items may seem a bit pricey for some families, although we felt the length it takes to complete the attraction (multiple days for us) ended up being worth it.-Some of the encounter attractions had long waits (most notably, Charlock, the red dragon duel)TIPS*There is no themed, carpeted stairwell to the top, but the emergency stairwell is available. You can use it to reach the top floor instead of taking the net climb.*There is a mini tree on the first level on the Lodge side of the resort (near the main lobby elevator and waterpark entrance). You can take on new quests or check your status there without having to go all the way back to the MagiQuest building.*Wand toppers arent just a pricey aesthetic add-on. They are not a requirement for any quest or adventure, but each DOES offer actual benefits or powers in the MagiQuest experience itself, if that is something that interests you. They can also be recharged and used again and again within their game ruleset*Look for MQ labels for elements pertaining to the game, as they often highlight where to find the IR sensor for aiming your wand. (SQ labels are for the other experience, ShadowQuest).*If your wand is acting up, try unscrewing the topper and rescrewing it back on. Additionally, wands need a firm flick to work, not just pointing.*Finish one quest before you take on another or you will lose your current progress for your current quest.*Two additional quests are done on the Lodge side of the resort, instead of at MagiQuest, so keep your eyes peeled.*The order in which you find things matters! :)

Were (3) thirty-something adults that took (2) 16-yr old girls to MagicQuest where we probably spent 2.5 hours completing the Shadow Quest and had a great time!$20 per (take-home) wand plus roughly $15 each for the girls quest seemed a bit much before we started, but we definitely got our moneys worth considering we only had to pay for the two wands and two quests, not an entrance fee for each individual. $70 for 5 people having 2+ hours of fun in the Dells isnt a bad price! Racing each other to finish first added a fun edge to a game that might not have been as exciting had we simply been cooperating.Had the weather been bad the next day, we might have returned with our pre-purchased wands and completed one of the other quests for just the cost of the quest, but the weather was ok and we were able to hit the water parks, but we will definitely consider returning to MagicQuest next time were in the Dells! There were kids off all ages playing. Its basically a scavenger hunt laid out over 4 floors (lots of steps to climb up and down!). There are stairs, slides, and cargo nets to get you from one level to another. The wands are used to activate and find items on your scavenger hunt, which must be found in a particular order.
