I love it here. I went here on Friday and had a good time. It wasnt busy at all do to the pandemic. So that was nice. Overall I would definitely go again.

Always a great time at the Ho Chunk. Machines are paying out like crazy. It just sucks that all the restaurants are closed there now and you have to wear a mask the entire time you are there. But to put in 20 bucks and win on the first spin.... priceless. I was out for the night. Made my trip to the Dells great.

They check your temperature when you enter and will offer you a mask if you do not have one. There is hand sanitizer available throughout the casino. Machines are separated. A very safe environment.

Pretty, well kept casino. Very modern architecture and open game floor(due to Covid), make the place pop. Hotel rates are competitve and worth while for the beautiful rooms. Need to loosen strings on slot play use, putting my own money in just to have the machine reload my slot play every spin is tedious and annoying. Bar is a bit expensive, $5 a beer, but about the norm for casinos. Overall I did enjoy my stay.

Quality and customer service has gone downhill(food). Still awesome to hangout on the floor though. The pop up vendors are really cool.

I was personally happy with their thermal check at the front door. Sanitation stations, hand gels, and wipes were all with in sight, and always in reach. Machines where far enough apart, and there was plenty of walking room. Unfortunately food was not being served, and understandingly know why. I was happy to see the smoke shop up and running. My wife said the machines were tight. Im the drinker in the family. So I know where my money is going. Ill drink responsibly only if she gambles responsibly.

Will be better once they get over this so called KungFlu scare. They will hopefully open up the restaurants and let you sit at the bar and enjoy some normal social time and a drink. The mask thing is getting rediculous. Even the CDC and Numerous medical papers have shown the ineffectiveness of them!!! More and more people are catching on to the hippocrates that are pushing this. I just hope these Tribal Elders start seeing thru all this BS.

I feel very safe here they sanitize everything and make people keep their masks on. Only public place I go now days.

Did not stay at the casino or eat at the restaurant.Casino. . .five starsThey had assigned bathroom attendants that actively clean the bathrooms continuously. . .these bathrooms have to be the cleanest public bathrooms in Wisconsin.Had fun on the slots and enjoyed the free beverages served up by Ho-Chunk employees.Excellent job! :-)

Ive been going to ho chunk since I was 21, but hadnt gone for the last two years,. Since we were up here this weekend I wanted to check out the place. I was shocked to had seen a huge change in the inside, no smoking anymore inside, wasnt sure if o.t.b was there anymore and new machines. Definitely not how it was 2 years ago. Other than that with the covid and all it wasnt to bad

Thank you for keeping my mom and I safe while we enjoyed ourselves. Not only do you get temperature checked at the door but theyve angled all their machines so you arent sitting right next to someone. Theres tons of sanitizer stations and wipes plus you can have a worker clean your machine if you dont want to do it yourself. Machines allowed us to play for awhile also. I wouldve given them a 5 star rating had they informed us their grill was closing early. 715pm and grill was already closed so the $5 my mom got for food for being a senior was pointless.

I really like the spaciousness of the setup at the Casino. There is plenty of space to roam around while my wife gambles (as I dont gamble much) . Drinks are a little more $ than their Madison counterpart (which is my local Casino). But for my wife and I its definitely worth the 40 minute drive to the Dells.

I just want to say that most the people were decently pleasant. I did run into an issue with a security guard named TERRY. Super disrespectful, came up to us complaining about masks not perfectly above our nose which is understandable but in the manner we were approached was extremely disrespectful. We spent a ton of money here and no one should be treated like that. On top of that if he is going to be “enforcing” rules he should be abiding by all of them, TERRY was a foot a way from my face and what happened to 6ft social distancing. If you’re going to be disrespectful about following rules than he needs to be following them as well. The amount of money we spent and the fun we were having was completely ruined by this man. On the way out I saw him harassing others as well. You need to tell that man to get off his power trip and treat people with some decency! We may have had a little bit to drink but that’s why we spent 320$ for two nights so we didn’t have to worry about driving or getting a Uber!!!! I will never come back!!! I would rather stay at Potawatomi than spend another couple grand at this place! That man needs a talking to or get another job. I will be posting reviews about this man everywhere!!!!

The measures they are taking to make a safe gaming experience are good. Enjoyed a few hours out and felt safe doing it.

Horrible experience this time. We Have come in the past and loved it. We were put in old room, heat never kicked in and it was 40 degrees outside at night. The coffee maker did not work. We had to travel almost 20 minutes on foot to get to our room and then back to check-in everytime we needed ice. Im so sad this was always one of favorite getaways

Terrific place, super quite and (as far as I know) Covid19 free. Nice system for pressing service button when you leave machines that have people roaming that clean them within a minute. Noticed a couple fellow gamblers who didn’t take advantage of this and would walk away with out pressing service buttons so I would creep in a d press it for them using one of the supplied wet wipes they have throughout the place. Smoking is entirely outside now, can’t recall if it was always like that. The bar area was open but didn’t see a lot of people drinking. It was only 8am but it was Saturday so that’s like 5pm in weekday hours.

Very nice casino I like the way they got everything now looks very nice. Today was the first time I went in years and they were very very good with the covid sterilization and everything throughout the casino they did a good job very safe!

Beware!!!Worst place!! If I could give them zero stars I would. This has nothing to do with the machines paying or not paying. The staff here is HORRIBLE. This is our first time here and we will not come back or recommend this place to anyone. We were on vacation and I have never been talked to so poorly by staff at a casino.... when we went outside to smoke, every person we talk said the same thing. They will not even let you take a drink without yelling at you to put a mask on. I have never seen such crazy masks police in my life. We watch them kick people out over there make not be in the perfect position. I’m not joking. The rooms were also dirty, and the tub was straight up Gross!! This place is horrible!!

I liked that there was no smoking allowed in the casino. I didnt see anyone with their mask off. Temperature check upon entry with mask available as well. No crazy lines upon entry.

The cleanest casino Ive visited since they reopened.Sanitation stations everywhere, staff constantly cleaning down the machines, constantly reminding people about social distancing and mandatory use of masks.Very well done !

Its a casino. A very clean and inviting casino. Had my handicapped son and he was lucky, I wasnt. This is just like all the other casinos you need to hit the right machine to have it pay out.

MY EXPERIENCE WASNT NICE.I DONT KNOW BECAUSE OF COVIC OR WHAT.THEY HAD A DRILL AND EVEYONE HAD TO LEAVE THE BUILDING.IM HANDICAP AND THERE WAS NO INFO FOR ME.I HAD TO TRY TO GET DOWN THE STAIRS WITH A WSLMER.I WAS REALLY UPSET.AND AS I WAS WALKING DOWN THE HALLS .THEY SPRAYED SOMETHING.

The food was okay in my opinion. The service was great, our server frequently checks to see if we needed drinks refilled or empty plates taken. When we got to the food they didn’t make any fresh new batches, so some have been sitting there for a while. The flavor taste great but were a little on the dry side. The fruits have been sitting out for too long as you can tell they aren’t freshly cut and the desserts were just okay but the cheesecakes were really good.

Hotels and casino were nice but if you want to eat, not available at this time. Want to drink, put your mask back on between sips. Needless to say we didnt stay long. Would like to try it again when all this is over!

We ordered a room with a jacuzzi. Didnt have one when we got in there. Shaila manager made it right and very apologetic and lowered the price. Thank you so much shaila.

This is the worst motel Ive ever stayed at&140$ a night. Ive had better rooms at 49.95 a night. I would never recommend this place to anyone. One star because 0 stars was not an option.

Its a casino. Ive never had much luck at this casino. Machines are way tighter than Vegas, or even some of the smaller casinos around the State. They are so tight that it isnt even enjoyable. Save your money, or go elsewhere.

We went to see a car show.out side on the parking lot ..nice bunch of cars . I dont gamble much . I thought they charged to much for food and snacks.

Nice place!! The Tattoo You MW convention was a great time...good gaming selection. Nice pool with a sauna,pool, and two hot tubs. Decent amount of food options that are reasonably priced and some available 24 hours a day. Clean rooms and friendly staff.

Big crowd waiting to get on table games on a Saturday night. Every other casino would open up additional tables. Instead, we waited for almost an hour in line, no taking names or numbers, etc. Poorly run, and organized we could have played slots and come back when a table opened.Finally decided to leave and not Wait to spend our money. Come on Ho-Chunk, why are you making it more difficult to spend money with you. Not cool.

Fun place to visit and the dealers are really friendly and interesting. The other visitors are entertaining as well. Overall, nice variety in the casino. Not many casinos around here have Roulette, which Ho Chunk does have. The restaurant upstairs in the place has amazing steaks, but it is pricey. My family and I enjoy visiting once or twice a year.

Beautiful place, wonderful people. However, I truly think after being there - for the last 4 weeks once a week- that regarding covid, they have become complacent in cleaning.some employees are on top of it, while the vast majority are not. In the last 2 weeks I have seen a rapid decline in employees wiping down machines. It is first their responsibility for cleanliness, then the casino guest. Sadly, during a mask mandate, they are being told by guests that they wont wear the mask, with virtually no repercussions to the offenders, 3 weeks ago I witnessed those escorted out. I get it, we are all tired of it, but in an enclosed area, where Hochunk made so many layout changes and precautions, it would be a shame to be shut down again. people need safe places to go. I hope they read this and go back to the initial changes they made for our safety. i hope they keep it non smoking when this is thru...clearly guests will still come.

I think sense the corona the odds of winning are far less Ive lost the most money than Ive ever had since the reopening of the casinos also every casino that I visit send me a free night stay complimentary and Ho-Chunk doesnt I feel that Ho Chunk gaming is big enough that they could at least afford free night stays since theyre taking all my money

Winings every time. All resort features. Great food buffet and restaurants. American Indians shows of dancers in summer that explain dance and history of drums and singers.

I went to gamble. The table games are still closed. There are a lot of people, but it always feels like people are gloomy or sad. I am assuming there arent many people winning. I have gone for years and the slot players are always like that. The table games were always where the happy and energetic people are.

Super careful for the virus and very friendly! The security guard was especially helpful.

I get that were all figuring out the best way to get through coronavirus, but just had a really awkward experience here. Paid for a drink and sat down at the specially sanitized and socially distanced bar... So far so good. But we were then asked to keep our masks over our faces while sipping our drinks. After about ten minutes of trying this to do this effectively, I gave up. The only way I found to effectively do it was to keep the straw in my mouth the whole time under my mask, which was pretty awkward.If you guys arent going to allow people to drink, please advertise that before charging for a drink. Businesses have the right to dictate what rules their customers follow, but selling me something without telling me the limitations for using it is misleading at best.

Overall one of the best casinos Ive been to. Left with more money than I came with. Great atmosphere, good slots. 3 star bedrooms out of 5.

Great place. Inside casino smoke shop closed on mondays and tuesdays. So if gas station is closed and u still want smokes you can go here minus those 2 days

I finally went to Hochunk Casino in the Wisconsin Dells and it was not a good experience... It was horrible the slot machines were not paying out what so ever!!! The only good thing was they had a lot of the older quarter slot machines that I love! I dont know if it was just a bad night or what but I dont ever want to go back to Hochunk Casino again! Ill stick to Potowatomi Casino

So much fun. The no smoking section was large with many good slots. The raspberry chocolate chunk ice cream waffle cone from the snack bar was to die for! It was so good I was unwilling to share and my husband had to get his own!

We would like to rate it 0 if we could! Drove all the way there to play our Video Poker which is all we play. They removed all of the video poker machines! We will not go back!

A total rip-off. They are obviously trying to make-up for the slowdown in their “business”. Their pay out percentages need to be published and audited. Do yourself a favor and stay away. Instead, buy a scratch-off.

This is not a large casino nor is it small. But I have say the staff is rude and seem to hate their jobs, except for the gentleman at the cashier cage. He was happy and excited to help.

I had an amazing time. Extremely clean. Amazing workers. My room was great. Our suit bathroom door didnt close all the way but I was with family so there was no problems. The best part is the well chosen decor bath box such as a box of chocolate. This made me smile. As I checked out I was thanked for staying at Ho Chunck and that also made me feel joy. Thanks for the great stay.

This rating is for the buffet. The food was shockingly amazing. The staff was friendly as well. The dessert island.... the best Ive ever had from a buffet. The food was fresh, seasoned well and it was nice to see the kitchen behind the buffet. I would recommend this and I will try to come back again.
