Warm winter trip for a first visit was worth the drive. Completed 4 miles of the various trails with the family & dog. Many people along the paths but very clean grounds and everyone being socially distant. Water front was busy as well. And camp grounds were surprising only half filled. Would suggest coming back for another day of hiking and spending time along the lake front.

I really love the layout of the campground especially the Sandstone section. Very nice an secluded sites give you the privacy you need to relax and enjoy nature. The restrooms and showers are clean and easily accessible to all campers. Everyone in our group loved how close we were located to the Dells. Plenty to do here swim, hike, fish, kayak,or go in town to a restaurant. Put Mirror Lake State Park in your list of campgrounds to stay in the future.

Very busy campground, but super pretty. You wouldnt know downtown Dells was minutes away...unless you are trying to put a kayak in at the busy boat launch ;). Get up early and put into Mirror Lake and you will be treated to wildlife like the herons or the bald eagle we spotted in the treetops. Campground hosts are very nice and the campsites are beautiful and well maintained. Reminds me of camping when I was a kid.

We walkedthe northwestern trail because we wanted a difficult trail but the difficulty must have been referring to cross country skiing because it was a very wide and easy trail to walk. I would consider it stroller friendly. There are some good hills rolling up and down though. I was hoping for more rock outcroppings.

Nice place to camp for lovers of the outdoors. We camped with our camper, but tent camping would be okay, too. Our site had electric but no water. Camp Showers were decent, as well as as the public toilets. Stations available for filling up your camper with potable water, as well as dumping waste water and garbage/recycling. GREAT hiking trails along Mirror Lake, beautiful sandstone cliffs to hike along. Also nice paved paths. The trails through the woods were well-maintained with mulch. The beach was not nice enough to swim in, but you can rent a kayak or paddle board, or just bring your own. Whether you want to hang in your hammock, fish, paddle a boat, pedal a bike, or hike around, this is a great campground.

A truly beautiful state park, right next to the Wisconsin Dells! We camped, hiked and fished while we were here. Great trails, nice campground, super friendly rangers who jumped the dead battery on my car. Also the ranger took the time to speak with my kids and educate them about rocks they were finding, explaining how the glaciers dropped them here. They really enjoyed the connection. The Ishnala trail was beautiful and the geographic rock features were really neat! We had a blast here- check it out!!

Very first time for us this summer in Mirror Lake campground due to we couldnt book to a Devils lake. We were very happy that it happened, absolutely nice camp site, almost private and big enough for our family of 7. We loved it so much that we came back in October to hike and had a dinner at Ishnala supper club that was very lovely too. Highly recommend Mirror Lake state park.

An absolutely beautiful park!! The only downside (besides the bathrooms, as it is a park in all fairness) is that the lake itself has a pretty high amount of algae, and its a bit hard to navigate without a map. Definitely would recommend stopping by for an afternoon or evening picnic!!

This is a kayak must do. Granted we were here during the week during Covid19 so crowds were low (most license plates were from Illinois). The ADA path for hiking was really nice. Meanwhile the trails & biking were very suitable for the youngest of adventures.

Really liked this campground. Sites were spread apart. The lake, beach, hiking trails are great. My only issue is the showers and the highway noise. The showers are small, they are kind of old school where you have to get dressed on a bench outside of the shower. Then its really close to the interstate, you can hear car noise all night long.

The family comes here every year. Such a wonderful park and super fun to be able to walk to Ishnala. This is a great spot for beginners as you can park close to your site and run errands if you forget something at home. Advantage for some, but at the trade off of being able to hear a very faint hum of the freeway at night or when it is quiet. Still, a really great park.

Really nice campground. Most sites seem easy to back a trailer in, unlike a lot of state parks where it is a real squeeze. We will definitely be coming here more often. Once out of the park, youre only a few minutes from Ishnala supper club (one of the best in Wisconsin!) and the Dells.

Overall it is an ok park. The only cons were that the sites were sandy and the lake had a lot of algae in it (enough to make me not want to swim in the lake). The fishing is decent if you have a way to get on the opposite side of the lake. The mountain bike trails were also decent. The intermediate trails were not all that technical, they were just very hilly. In my opinion, the road biking in the area was the best part. Great Wisconsin scenery! With the park being so close to I90, you can here some traffic noise but it is not too bad.
