This setting has such a history. We re fortunate for the people that preserved this site. Such a peaceful place to pause and reflect on the lives from many years ago. Thank you for preservation.

Beautiful effigy mound, very well maintained. And as the last remaining anthropomorphic mound, it is beyond unique. The park around is sweet and equally well maintained. A gem in the Wisco countryside.

A big let down. Not what I was expecting. The story behind it is cool but the actual experience is nothing. We spent 20 minutes there

Very unique effigy mound really close to Devils Lake. You should see it at least once! It is nationally known.

Theres not a whole lot happening here, but it is impressive in the abstract. And the legs crossing the road is funny. Take you like 10 minutes. You could do worse and probably have.

Interesting place. Read the plaque, too bad the hi-way crew took out his legs.

Very cool if you like Native American history like I do, otherwise a pile of dirt to most folks. Glad it was preserved.

Super cool 200 foot plus mound in the shape of a man. Nice and shady spot. Ample parking. Loved it.

Honestly? Its a little underwhelming when youre looking at it from the ground, but the history that it has makes it worth the trip. Id recommend hitting the circus world museum and then swinging by just to say you saw the thing.

It was very interesting place I think that it was haunted by old Native American Spirits

Nice, open park, plenty of room. BIG mound (In length) that extends across the road. Gigantic trees. This is thought to be a mound to a god. My opinion? Yes, god w/ a small g....Nephilim giant w/ HUGE horns, burial site! ;-)

This park is totally out of the way, but if you are fan of old school playground equipment, peace and quiet, this is the place for you. The cows across the street are also pretty inquisitive and will come and watch you, which is sorta fun.
