East Bluff Trail to Devils Doorway is the best, most beautiful hike at Devils Lake! My nine year old daughter was so excited to reach the Doorway this route after a few failed attempts along different, more rocky trails.

Great place! Although, the hike to the top is only for experienced hikers I would say. The rock formation is also very impressive! I also had lots of fun making some rock towers at the summit. If you are driving through the region, I would definitley reccomend coming here.

Beautiful place, definitely worth the hike. Next time I will either come down here during the work week or very early morning on the weekend. It was pretty packed on a Saturday.

I made my first visit to Devils Lake State Park back in 2017 and I didnt know much about it. After visiting I did a little more research and discovered the Devils Doorway Rock Formation. I told myself that if I ever came back Id make the uphill journey to get my picture in front of this scenic rock. Well I did just that and it was worth the sore knees afterwards. The views up here are breath taking and magnificent.

There are many strange stones that do not know how they were made.I would like to visit here again if I have a one more chance.

Two ways up there, both somewhat difficult. Vista points all along trail. Hiked the back trail easy. Nice stream along the way.

What a beautiful and stunning place to hike. This is bound to be one of the greatest places youll ever get to walk in your life. Walking along the cliffside is the best feeling a human can get, its like standing on top of the world. If you ever get a chance to go here, you should take it immediately.

Amazing Views of the Bluffs!!!

Challenging hike. We usually go up by the grottos and the potholes, completing the circle by Balanced rock and ending up at the beach and concession stand.Great workout, and the views at the top make it well worth it.Trail markers can be a little confusing, so dont be afraid to ask for help - people on the trail are always helpful.

Well worth the hike.

Amazing place to spend the day hiking. Quite and intense walk up and down the hill to Devils Doorway and Balanced Rock. Trails are not clearly labeled. Would not recommend bringing your dog if you plan on climbing up the rocks. $13 for a 1-day parking pass and $28 for an annual pass. Bring water and snacks, quite the climb/hike.

Beautiful view, hard hike up if youre outta shape, especially if you take the wrong side up which is steeper. but worth every step when you get there.

First time I ever visited the Devils Doorway a crow was sitting on top of the rock formation! The symbolism was hilarious. We nicknamed him Satan
