More hiking trials than we expected! I thought that it was just the walking path, but there are a lot of steep trails up and down the bluffs. It would be better if there were fewer trails but marked better, though.

Also known as the bluffs is a great place to walk and enjoy the scenery, its our little version of the mountain tops of Los Angeles overlooking the city, you can run walk the dog or enjoy a late night stroll with your loved one

Very much enjoyed the epic scenery as the sunset was coming down and all the vast colors and contrast was mind-blowing. There were several key points that you could park and look out over the valley will be traveling back through there again!

Love going early in the morning after my night shift at the hospital. Perfect time! Not too hot yet and not too many people. The view is great and the hills are truly a work out.

Its a very fun place to walk with family or walk/run alone to lose weight or walk/run with family and friends. Im giving it 4 starts though because when me and my family took a walk we got our car broken into. It mightve only been a one time thing but leave your vehicle where you know there will be people around. Stay safe :)

If you love nature and the outdoors then this is a hidden gem! They have many trails and it’s great with scenery! I absolutely love this for a quick hike! Great to take your family and dogs for a walk! There are some hidden trails that lead to the river where you can sit and enjoy relaxing scenery. (Be careful with the snake tho)

I come here every week. This place is beautiful and peaceful. I usually take a long walk here and just enjoy the great view. You get to meet new people, and you can sit on the benches to look far out at the mountains.

A good place to just sit on a bench and enjoy the view or engage in mild adventurous hiking, jogging or biking over its side. you will have to bring your own water though since the nearest shop is a little bit of a drive.

I start my bike ride from here. Then I drop off over the edge down the bus to get to the bike trail. Its a nice part overlooking the Kern River and oilfields. Nice place to go for a picnic and let the kids run around. Enjoy

Want a great work out get your cardio and muscles burning with step hiking trails. Downfall people trash it. Broken beer bottles and trash.

Beautiful scenery. The mountainside trails were tight but scary! Need lightening to ensure safety. Like to see children playground area around there so kids can play. Love the river flowing through valley with the bridges crossings.

It is nice especially to watch the sunset. Just alot of trees amd difficult to fly a kite now compared to back in the days. But a very nice place to get your walks/ runs in or to just relax a little.

My husband & I went on a weekend vacation & found this park & zoo. Its a very nice park & there is a living desert & zoo thats very cool. Definitely going to bring the family back for a visit.

I love this place because you can walk as far as you like and you are overlooking the Kern River and the Kern River oil fields and the grass is green in the spring and its beautiful.

Go only with the ones you Love. Breathtaking views ( needs a restroom)

The park is frequently used but there was a lot of trash, Not sure exactly where it was all coming from but I hope the city takes more action in keeping it cleaned up.

I am 70 years old I have been going to the Bluffs since I was five best place ever I do miss the old Lovers Lane

I like to walk along the bluffs that overlook the oilfields and its a perfect spot for making out with your honey
