Goodness Gracious, what a find! The family & I was headed up to the mountains to hangout & saw the The Big Red Barn. We decided to stop by on the way back home and boy we were not disappointed in the least! Lots of parking, super friendly staff, the place was very clean & they had tons of goodies to choose from. I grabbed me a couple of those old fashioned root beers the wife grabbed some apple pumpkin spice jam or something like that & some assorted fruits. We had a great time.We are looking forward to our next visit, Thank you Murray Family Farms!Pastor Michael Rodriguez & FamilyThe Wellspring of Life Fellowship.

We have enjoyed Murray Farms so many times with the kids.We decided to pop out recently, despite knowing that Covid restrictions would limit activities. We needed out of the house! The admission price was greatly reduced, which was fair and they gave us a free pumpkin with every admission.Overall we spent about an hour and a half out there and the two boys got their sillies out and I got some sunshine.

One of my favourite stops on my travels south from Canada every winter and fall. I always stock up on all my preserves, sauces, dry goods like jerky or dried fruit. The honey, apple butter, natural BBQ sauces are all mmmmmm Im seriously getting hungry just thinking about this place. Also a great place to get gas before some long stretches of desert as well. Large pump areas with a large turning radius if needed as well for big RVs or trucks

My daughter enjoyed herself. Considering most everything was closed because of covid it was pretty fun. All the sunflowers were wilting and the pumpkins were mostly oddly shaped but we did go late in the month. Her favorite part was the dinosaur statue

For years Id stop in twice a week to pick up dried veggies, but now have had employees scold me and whine that they will be in trouble if Im not wearing a mask. Its been over the top, even as I walked in alone with not a soul in the place other than the employee. Now Ive learned, Murry Family Farms dont even produce the product I love...need to learn where they get it from and go straight to the source...as to not be demeaned by staff who are not aware of my 1st amendment rights...yet respecting the space and fears of others

A cornucopia of fresh jams, jellies, pies, fudge, and honey to choose from. Also, a selection of dried fruit and various fresh fruits and nuts. The service is helpful and friendly; so why the four stars?? Because of the dreaded mask. There are plenty of signs letting customers know that a mask is recommended... but I dont wear one. Upon entering the store an employee offered me a mask, which I politely refused. Then the same employee said they WOULD NOT HELP ME UNLESS I PUT ON A MASK. What a horrible policy! [They need to check out Newsoms Playbook about masks on page 27 or learn about the Unruh Civil Rights Act.] I told her I had a medical exemption and she dropped the pursuit. That was easy!My advice: let the customers shop and freely spend money in your store without being harassed. Its ok.

Even though due to COVID a lot of the outside entertainment was closed, this little quaint store is AWESOME! I bought some habanero sauce, two pies and they gave us a free pumpkin. I wish we had something like this up here in Oregon. Actually we do, its Called Bauman Farms, so come visit if you need a little Murray Family Farm experience up here in Oregon.

I come here for the Okie Pies. The blueberry pork barbecue pie is one of the most fantastic things Ive ever put in my mouth, on a good day, and on a bad day its nothing worse than very good.Great selection of in-season fresh fruits and vegetables, along with a large assortment of dried fruit snacks, olives, nuts, salsas and hot sauce, many flavors of fudge.. my only problem is the items are rather expensive.. I would think at the source, things would be less expensive than the supermarket and it seems that they charge a premium for their popularity. Lets get back to being wholesome, guys.

If youre heading out of town going east youll find the Big Red Barn at the bottom of the hill before you start to climb out of the valley. The Big Red Barn is at Murray farms, highway 58 and general Beale. Stopped off with a friend because he wanted to buy a box load of Okie pies.if it werent for the virus Im sure this establishment would be jam-packed full of families. You have to wear masks and they demand social distancing. Very clean establishment, upon arrival we found an employee cleaning the door handles to enter into their store. Once inside we found everything spotless and the shelves were jam-packed full of vegetables. Go and enjoy!!!

Overall, the experience was pretty good. They have entry fee, $10.99 for adult and $4.99 for kid. But, it definitely worth it. You can spend fare amount of time (4 to 6 hours easily) there during the day, especially when you drive long to get there. There are so much to do for kids like painting, playing balls, sliders, small zoo, and yes, picking your own fruits too (All included in the ticket :)). They have big farms for Strawberries, blueberries, oranges, apples,... You can buy an empty box for the amount of fruit you want to pick, I would suggest to get the biggest one and get at least couple of them, since they will give you refund for non-used ones. You can eat as much of FRESH fruit as you want while inside the farm (really liked this part, though ;) ). They have a tractor ride every hour, it is kind of good too to look around the farm. They do serve the breakfast and gives 1 complimentary pancake per ticket. You can also buy other ORGANIC food like honey, chips,... Make sure to check the weather before you go, since it can get really hot during the summer. There are some nice views outside the farms as well.
