Great place for mi kids to unwind

A lot of homeless people but cool lil park

The park was fine, but no one was wearing masks or following COVID restrictions.

This park has really gone downhill. Theres big deep potholes all in the parking lot off Ming and there was trash everywhere in the park.

We went there for lunch at a wonderful time everything was good

I went there only 3 times. I see small park having half visual near Ming Avenue and other half invisible on other street, not on ming Ave. When you drive on ming Ave to pass by Patriots Park, you see small park and cannot see far on other side road. Go ahead stopping by and checking out if actually small park or not. This park looks larger when hopping off. Good clean playground for kids to play safe around less traffic.

Rather nice park with pretty scenery and places to sit in the shade. The bathroom is a little scary, dont go alone. Especially if you are a child. But the play park is well appointed and there are not too many people around that bother you. Decent place for a picnic and a couple hours outside.

Had a great time with my Daughters and dogs played with the dogs and pushed my Daughters on the swings we had a great time today

Its scary as all hell. And its across the street from golden corral. People are camping in the park. Theres trash every where. Giant pot holes in the small drive way . be careful

Its a nice beautiful park but small... Its very clean and needs rebuild the restrooms.The restrooms needs locking doors.

There are so many pot holes in the parking lot, its dirty and I dont feel safe. Definitely worse from the last time I went a few years ago.

My family and friends started playing softball here at Patriots park this season and yes the park is getting better but there is no excuse for the filthy bathrooms, we pay a lot of money to play at these parks so the least the City can do is clean the restrooms so that our children can use them! Please let me know when thT happens!

Decent family park. Two baseball/ softball fields, basketball court, small dog-park area (although not always used by pet owners,) ample free parking, plenty of playground equipment for kids of all ages, loads of picnic tables under 2 pavilions, and the park is large enough so you arent sitting on top of the neighbors. The homeless that do frequent the grounds are typical to those found everywhere, but are basically to themselves. Restroom facilities will need a chaperone to accompany the kids, however, and the adult should walk-in first (if only to avoid surprises.)

Nice play area for kids. But there was a guy riding his dirt bike in the park which was really annoying. The bathroom is utterly disgusting. There are no doors on the stall for when people are pooping. It doesnt seem like the city cleans the bathroom on the weekend. Urine was piled up in the toilet bowl and I didnt dare flush as it seemed like it would overflow.

Lots of homeless people hanging out in the restrooms. But its a nice park with the smaller play area and bigger play area.

Good place to go during the day dont go after the sun goes down not safe alot of homeless people are there so keep that in mind.

Was driving by this place one night, and I saw baskets, trash, and homeless people living around the bushes and under the tables. This park use to be beautiful and clean back in the day but now it has been polluted with homeless people.

Its a great place for fun and there is an tackle football team the will take anyone and both gender from 6:00 to 8:00

This park was surrounded by homeless people. It didnt feel safe at all bringing my kids here to play. There were just a few other children, and they were very rude.

Parks & Rec says theyre focusing on this park in particular. They now have staff assigned to just this location. The transient traffic is dimin. The park even looks more like what one might expect. Havent used the Rest Room lately, so Im holding off on kudos all the way around.

I like sitting at park benches and farting and then waching the reaction to people who walk through it. Ten thumbs up

Perfect to play baseball. Theres a playground for kids. Basketball courts. Take a jog.

Its a nice park. The climbing toys seemed well maintained. The lawn, semi decent. Obviously this park gets used, which is good. I am grateful the City and county build and maintain nice parks. Parents please note: ALWAYS accompany your young children to the restroomd, due to the fact that the homeless use them too. There was someone shaving in there when a I went with my grandson. He obviously had been bathing in there. Not conducive to a safe environment for 4 year olds. Also, theres basketball courts and picnic tables but I didnt use them so, not able to review those.

Its a nice place if there arent high school kids smoking pot right next to the playground and a breeze is blowing at you and your toddler. My toddler is outgrowing the smaller area but is a bit intimidated by the bigger area. Older kids write obscenities on the play equipment so thats soooo great too.

Love this park. Great play area for kids, park is usually pretty clean and well maintained, and has a big area with lots of tables for eating. Great place to power walk if thats your thing.

On the Friday midday the park was completely deserted except for at least 5 homeless people.The parking lot is a one huge pothole.

Perfect place to bring your animals for a short walk or to bring your kids for a barbecue

Homeless people have sadly taken over this park.. I felt uncomfortable with my children.

This is the local park that is in use constantly. Its not listed as an official dog park but it has an excellent one. The softball and basketball courts are in use daily. The people are so great who come here and it an awesome place for families and kids. I go at least 3 to 5 times a week with Conri who loves to meet all his doggy friends and chase squirrels.

Its was nice and plenty of space for family events.

Lots of shade, not much homeless hanging around, restrooms were filthy!

Huge park area , family safe environment, excellent bbq shaded awning areas , park restrooms , wheelchair acc, plenty of parking space , clean detailed landscape.

Most of the children there had no supervision so they were throwing dirt at each other & hurting other kids also the sand is littered with garbage & cigarette butts.

Thanks it was nice today. Didnt see any homeless people, which means it was a lot cleaner .

Great place for picnicking viking and walking

I live right next to this park so i see the good and bad. What i mean is inthe day time its nice,clean & a place to take your kids and have fun at. Now soon as it starts to get dark you the smokers and then the street kids/homeless take over.

Very nice well kept park and has several amenities such as restrooms, BBQs, covered picnic area, playing field and a play ground. Its right next to West High, so it has a high student presence at times through out the day.

Big clean park with plenty of shaded tables, bbq areas as well as basket ball courts and playing diamonds. We visited during the week and found the place quiet with plenty of available parking

Great park, been going here since I was a little kid, great for get togethers, basketball games, football games and baseball games. parking is accessible through 3 parking lots. alot to do here

It is an ok park it has been mis used by the youth but I do like the excercise class and the fact that it is good to walk your pet. Day hours are great late evening a bit sketchy.

Fairly large sized park, conveniently parking on either side, restrooms, baseball diamond, basketball court, tables, BBQs and its right across from West high school.

Dont use the bathroom here unless youve got a hazmat suit. The ball field gets extremely dusty if it hasnt rained and if it has rained its a swamp
