At night its chill watching the kids scateboard and on their scooters..the adults either sitting on lawn chairs watching or out there hitting the half pikes or ramps however you call them..its been a longtime for me I was actually out there with a friend and her kids. ...its really a cool spot.

It’s a average size park the ground is super slick it is super fun to shred wonderful for beginners

I love taking my daughters to this park. The skate park is amazing, but there should be a place for bikes. All in all its a great clean park

Unfortunately, there were unruly teenagers. One picked up a glass bottle and smashed it on the concrete. My sons gave it 3 star

Nice little park with some fun features, great bowl. Park is real slick tho, get ready to slide. Skatepark is right off of a main road so visibly is great.

Theres a lot of little kids out there, but one of them were smoking cigarettes at like 10yrs old! ..which really bothered me..(he left before I could get the police there) BUT, other than that it was a nice park, and the little bit of vandalism wasnt too bad.....we will go back when there is not so much traffic....beach park is better in my opinion....

I love bringing my pets to the park. This is a lovely park, even considering the exceptional amount of homeless that linger there. I like this park because of its numerous shade trees and the green grass.

This is a very nice park. Clean, lots of shade. There is a baseball diamond, skate park, covered picnic table area, good size parking area and there are several shops and food joints within walking distance.

The reason wy i love this place is its right by the lil beardsly school i used to go to as a kid or was this big beardsly i cant remember no it was lil beardsly thats right becuse big beardsly didnt have a park right by it but it brangs back memories

Ok park ....Its a toss up some days you can find a solid group to play a game of bball and clean playing children for the kids to meet ...somedays theres nothing but indigents and teens hanging out.

I think it is one of the best parks Bakersfield has ! Easter with the Earnshaws and family and friends AND BBQ and sides as far down the table as you can see......not to mention the family feel at this event! You never even hear a swear word during a volleyball game! And...not sorry..but if there were any homeless panhandling people hanging around ....THE EARNSHAWS WOULD INVITE THEM TO JOIN US! Ive never known such loving caring people! I wish Stacey and I had rejoined this great Bakersfield Speedway family much earlier. Race car drivers are so competitive!The Earnshaws. ..Bradshaws, Shoemakers, and Im sure many others, were THE reason Bakersfield Speedway was the most exciting place to be on race night!.Its a calling, an addiction in your blood ! Everyone in all our families have racing in our blood! I hope Alex continues to excel in racing and his entire life! Hes such a great boy! Stacey is SO lucky to get a good in only one try!...lolThank you Earnshaws and all the truly genuine family, friends...etc.I like it better than Christmas!

I love this park I have put in a lot of hours at this park and despite its reputation for being bad it really is a great park dont let the acts of a very few people change how you feel about this park we have to work together to keep this park a nice park and that means we need to hold our brothers or sisters accountable if you see the acting inaporpitly let them know that it is not right but do it in a careing way not a ordering way and if that dont work then find someone who will do that thank you and have fun at this park..

Its a big park area, they have a skate park, and a field where they practice football. The play ground is a nice size

Very nice park, that is not kept up to the fullest. There is all the time homeless, mischievous teens, fights, and vandalism. There is a lack of staff to maintain the park. Not sufficient lighting, benches, and picnic tables. Sits next to an abandoned pool that tends to be overrun with debris. Close to Airport Drive which is a very very busy Road. And given the area, much concern lies within the well-being of your child, possible drug paraphernalia, and crime to be concerned about.

Not too crowded, would recommend adult supervision. Alot of kids without parents running a muhch but if you are taking your kids the new skate park isnt that bad.. we didnt have a bad experience like alot of others have had. Dont let your kids go alone make it a family outing and if your a parent that does let you (son) hang out (in the park around there) hopefully you check up and see whats really going on.. but if you going to the skate park just stay with your child.. or close by..

Although the park is well kept , the homeless and the local ruffians use this park too much to take your children to. Had my son there this December and didnt want to expose him to all the crazy there. Had to leave within minutes.

They allow too many homeless individuals to camp out at this park. Children walk by this park to go to school. My kids would love to go to this park but its becoming overrun with homeless people

That skate park is terrible. My father was attacked here a few weeks ago while he was with his grand daughters at the park. He has been in the hospital for almost a month now with damage to his brain. My family lives in very close proximity to this park. There are children being chased away by others threatening bodily harm daily. There have been 3 actual attacks since it opened less than a month ago.All this skate park has done is a made a dangerous area that much worse.

Too many youngsters doing drugs and being voilent... That is suppose to be a park for kids to play and adults for family or friendget togthers ..

Lotta stuff going on there most of the time they are cleaning it up though!

Nice park, a little bit rugged of an atmosphere but pleasant and clean. Publice bathrooms are not made available here but recreational activites may include uses of a softball field, dog trail, a soccer field, gazibo, play yard, and seasonal community olympic sized pool. Great for barbeques, sports practice, and general outings

To many homeless kids get afraid. I bin homeless I think. The county should help them nit arrest them

This used to be a great and wonderful part until they welded the bathroom door shut took out the lookout pirate thing on the top of the hill the fact that the bathroom doors are welded shut means that when the kids have to go to the restroom while playing they cant you have to go all the way back home for them to go to the restroom
