Campus is nice there have been many upgrades. However its easy to get lost, not many maps to let you know where your class is on campus.

For the Jai Jadat event at the Bakersfield College Theater. It was my first time and it was Awesome. I was told by a regular that the theater had been renovated and the results were beautiful. The acoustics were aided by what appears to be bamboo panels hung from the ceiling and the drapes were a soft green; a total departure from the expected dark red. The performance from a talented group of young people and children from India on their first trip anywhere in the world was nothing short of astonishing. A celebration of M. K. Gandhis 150th birthday and a recognition of many people past and present who stood for the idea of Peace on Earth. Ill be sure to return for future events!

Great little venue, very intimate and allows you to feel really a part of the action

Wonderful venue for seated viewing applications. Theres a complex sound and lighting system put in place that would allow for various kinds of production. Being attached to the Performance Arts Center might create disturbance issues during class times.

Beautiful theater. Great sound. The performing arts departments are pretty great too.
