Monster truck show was outstanding, they are always here in January. What does it take to put on the show...A lot of work by Amp Live Events LLC, more than a dozen workers and Cal Lowbed trucks filled with dirt, over 50 truck loads of dirt are brought in the day before event. Good venue to see bands at. Its large enough to hold a good sized Bakersfield crowd, but small enough that the nosebleeds still give you a pretty good view of the show. I watched Ghost at Rabobank and had a great time. The sound was great, the pyro was cool and it was pretty easy to find my seating. The downsides to the venue is the prices of beverages are pretty high, like $13 bucks for a tall can. And the food is about as good as eating at an AmPm. Ticket prices are pretty reasonable though, so Id definitely recommend this place.

Cheer competition for the weekend. Staff was all very friendly when coming in and out, held doors open for us. Bathrooms were decent. They had hundreds of cheerleaders in and out all day. But the attendant was able to keep up with all of the traffic of the girls in there. Parking was $10 or you had to find street parking, but that was a long walk. Overall nice facility.

Closed right now but the wife and I enjoyed the fountain while eating Dewars ice cream.

Nice venue. Surprisingly posh and well organized. I visited for an improv show that I had won tickets too.

Fun visited for a wrestling tournament. The atmosphere was clean but cold bring a blanket. Although I sat under a vent.Food was good I reccomend this place I would go again!

Small but nice. Great acoustics, seating is good and employees are professional and knowledgeable.

For graduations for schools its pretty awesome theres lots of room plenty of seating and a great view for everyone, the sound is perfectly clear and not too loud

Came here for the 2019 Comic Con show. Had a good time. Venders were super friendly and polite. Lots of Comics, Video games and Sports memorabilia. Also had some celebrities signing autographs. Had some Star Wars booths with R2D2 roaming around. Plenty of Cosplay goers as well. There also was a gaming section to entertain games. Over all a really good time.

The Rabobank / Merchants bank arena is a nice mid-size venue for concerts.. Was my fist time there staff were very friendly and gave excellent service.. I will defiantly return for another show! Ticketing problem ended up in 1st Row for KISS what an awesome experience!

On 3-2-2020 I went to the KISS concert and it was AMAZING!! Best show I have ever seen. Today. I went to the CONDORS Game and it was awesome! Staff was really cool and we won the game! Always love Rabobank Arena!

Mechanics Bank received our money but not our kudos. Its set up well to be a perfect venue for many different forms of entertainment. The only drawback I could see is that, not only are the seats narrow (yes, Im a fat-bottomed girl), they are crammed so close together there is no elbow room! The lady seated next to me, while telling the man next to her that she wasnt sick, continued to eat cough lozenges and wipe her sniffles with a tissue the whole time we were there. We left at halftime. Because they want to make more $ by having a few more seats???

I go there for Disney on ice every year and its a really great show

Decent sized arena. I was there to see Ghost and had a great time. Bathroom clean and had tp. Drink prices were insane but thats normal. I do wish there was another option besides the cheap disposable plastic cups though. Its a waste and a lot easier to get roofied.

Great indoor arena for hockey games, concerts, etc. Bathrooms are usually pretty clean. Food and drink lines are slow so we try to eat and drink elsewhere before arriving. One other issue is the floors can be sticky from spilled drinks. We had this issue last time. They obviously hadnt cleaned well since the prior event. Everywhere is a good view. Dont be afraid to get the cheapest seats and not be crowded.

We saw ghost and Nothing more. NM was the opener, they were fantastic as well. Parking is easy, venue is great

Known in this county by a few other names, this arena has done a pretty good job at keeping things affordable & fun. The process to get through the metal detectors, scan your tickets & get seated was pretty easy & didnt take long since they had many entrances open. Prices at the concession stands is very reasonable, we got 2 nachos, 1 hotdog, 2x 24oz beers, 2 sodas and a churro for $24. Any other game or concert Ive been to in other cities $24 would have been the price of 2 beers and a tip & maybe a small overpriced snack food.I didnt give a 5 star simply because the seats are so close together that there is NO room to walk in front of someone down a row to get to your seat. Each adults knees just about (depending on height) touch the seat in front of them. So, pretty much if you dont get all your stuff & stay in your seat for the duration of your event, then you gotta become very good at climbing seats in lower rows to make it out.Overall, it was fun & my whole family enjoyed our visit plus the really cool memorabilia on the walls. PS, parking across the tracks was $7.

Went there for the first time and weedy to the WWE live holiday your it was cool.

Super fun experience. Checking on to the arena was easy and smooth. With my family we got in and out of that line in 10 min. Seating was a little hard to find at 1st but eventually we just sat down where we thought our seats were. Come to find out that there were ppl sitting in our seats. But over all it was a clean facility and good experience for Disney on ice.

Came to watch the condors play. Had a great time. Only wish the seats were better, not much room to even sit, let alone walk.

Second year going for Cheer competitions and the staff are always friendly, snacks though are not cheap at all. But very nice spot

Amazing show first of its kind ice skates and trapeze!

Attended a graduation ceremony in the Civic Center. Organizing the lines outside was the only downside. Inside, the facility was clean and more importantly, air conditioned. As an attendee, the seating and comfort level was very good. Only wish drink concessions were available for the people who were waiting in the hot sun for an hour.

Great place for event. As Jehovahs witnesses we attend an annual convention held at this arena. The staff there is very pleasant to work with and have always been very respectful and courteous with us. It is located near many hotels it even have one next door to it. Lots of places to eat within a reasonable distance. There is also a theater located behind the arena. The second floor seeking is not bad seating, you can still get a pretty good view.

Rabobank is now named Mechanics Arena, still great place. Have been many times for concerts.Only drawback...price of beers - $11- $14 each! Food is pricey too but we have always had dinner elsewhere before concerts.

Definitely a jewel of bakersfield So many events and concerts that come through bakersfield are held here. If you dont visit the Rabobank Arena, then you are missing out.

Fairly new venue in Downtown Bakersfield. Hockey, concerts and other events.Good seating and views. Parking free within a few blocks. New name is Mechanics Bank Arena.

For the artist or performance~the stage may b adequate but Im 5 tall n was having a hard time just crossing my legs in their seats!

We saw the KISS concert and a tall boy was 13.50 pretty steep if you ask me lol but I would do it all over again for KISS

High security for CIF State Wrestling event. Only allowed one unopened water bottle per person and no snacks or other outside food or drinks.

Had a great time with my family at the WWE Holiday Tour!! Rabobank was clean and seats were comfortable!! Food is pricey;but, overall, we had a great time!!

Attended the City of Bakersfields health fair. Nice place. A great venue for large events.

I went to go see a Condors game and had a really good time with my friends.

Fun times! Only issue was beer being 8-9 bucks at a minor league hockey game. Want more fans, charge less.

Attended Virtual Enterprise International Trade Show with 1,500+ high school students combination with Marriott Hotel perfect for space with multiple rooms for competions and large area for trade show.

My daughter got her bachelors degree here last week. Thats the only time Ive been there. I thought this place was more comfortable, ease of access, friendly people, etc.

I love going here for events! Food and drink is extremely expensive, though. We also plan ahead not to get food there.

Really enjoyed watching a hockey game from the suites. Staff were friendly and the food was good.

Had a great time and the exit traffic was handled as well as can be expected in am arena. Tiny seats and expensive food, so Im taking away a star on stubborn principle

Tried to enjoy Smackdown Live. Was in the 3rd row, but these two 6+ gentlemen refused to sit down and facility staff refused to do anything about it. I couldnt see anything, even while standing. It was a waste of $100.

The most average event center you can visit. Much like elementary school when you werent really trying but still cared enough to do the work. So your teacher would give you an S for satisfactory and wrote has potential in the comments. Thats the Rabobank Arena. Not bad and not great. Has potential...room for improvement...Satisfactory, kinda.

It is a really fun venue to see minor league hockey or a concert. The seats have slightly less leg room than other places. The food is really good and an enjoyable atmosphere.

Enjoyed the Nickjr Live show. Arena ,was clean staff was polite and helpful.. prices were high, but no more than expected..

And easy-to-navigate, really nice and clean facility. Ive attended a couple conventions here and I definitely will return. Security is very professional

Condors are very fun to watch!!! Lovecour locol team!!! But its not a NHL game, nor is it a NHL arena!!! Prices for food or drinks. Are absolutely over priced!!! I feel takin advantage of when I leave.

They have a lot of different events going on here. Came for Jo Koy and some smaller events. Not bad for a small convention center.

Only arena that I know of that has a smoking area attached. Dont have to leave the arena ti smoke. Its outdoors though.

My Boyfriend and I had an AMAZING time watching Sammy Hagar and The Circle in concert. The atmosphere was Great, Clean and Welcoming. I love Rabobank Arena, have never been disappointed going to any kind of event there.

Great time visiting with the Gulls hockey boosters. We really enjoyed the town and all the local fans who made us feel very welcome.

It was a wonderful ice skating show. It funny, beautiful, sad,fabulous show. My sister Carol and I so enjoyed the show. Yes, we would go again.Now we are thinking of seeing Toby Keith in August.

There was one merch booth and no one managing the line it took well over an hour to buy a tshirt. Either open earlier or manage the crowd in such a way that people can buy things before the concert. We missed a good portion of the opening act because of poor management of the lines/not having adequate time to purchase stuff before the show.

Great venue for Bakersfield. They run it well and keep it well controlled. Box office is pretty much on the ball. Concessions offerings are good. Ive never had anything to complain about no matter the event.
