Great college theater to put on community events. My daughter performed with her Bakersfield Youth Symphony Orchestra group, and the acoustics were great. I totally support any venue that is held here. Fantastic experience.

Nice theater. Small and intimate setting. We saw Steam Powered Giraffes Yulemas concert there in Dec. 2017.

This is a good small theatre located on the university campus. I attended my daughters dance recital. I think it would be excellent for intimate shows like magician or musician.

Cal State Bakersfield has a big, beautiful theater. Weve enjoyed many plays and musical performances there. Always good to double check make sure that you dont need a parking permit. They usually dont but why take a chance.

Attended CSUB Orientation with my son, which started in this theater. It was well organized, attentive to the needs of the freshman class and parents. Coffee and doughnuts were a hit satisfying those of us who arent their best early in the morning. Dore Theater is overall a great venue. (Note: No drinks or food are allowed in the theater area!) Top marks given to this university and staff for friendlies and concise information about their school. A special hat tip to the Veterans Club for their hospitality and esprit de corps.

This theatre is well designed. The view from the back to the stage is clear.

Slightly difficult to find due to inadequate street lighting, but a clean theater and the ushers were great people.

Umm its a theatre. Could use free parking year long. The students pay through the nose for their tuition afterall.

Nice theater. Parking near the building but make sure you have a parking pass or use the parking meters that are near by
