The playground is sheltered by trees, and it also has a nice covered picnic area and restrooms.

I have great memories of this park from my childhood. My church used to have potlucks in the pavilions but it seems the city stopped investing in it. It could be put to great use.

Very well kept up park. Has a great historic baseball park and a very nice picnic area with shelter, includes playground equipment. Turtle creek surround the park on 3 sides (fun fishing with children. Plenty of parking for both.

Parks and recreation do a HORRIBLE job doing simple maintenance. Horseshoe pits are completely overgrown with grass no sand in pits, backboards in need of repair.Bottom line the city of Austin obviously does not care about ALL the community PARKS! ALL PARKS ARE IN DESPERATE NEED OF BASIC UPKEEP. THEY CANT EVEN MOW!!! TAXPAYERS SHOULD BE VERY UPSET!

Nice little park to get together

Very nice park with a baseball/softball field. We went to a car show that was held there. Large park, lots of room for the kids to run and play.

My family enjoyed the fireworks but it sucked getting out.
