We had THE best time on the van tour with Maddy she was so fun, knowledgeable and sweet! I highly recommend her and this business. Oh and the cold beverages were an added bonus along with the air conditioning.

I absolutely enjoyed my time on the Haunted ATX tour! The tour guide Sydney was so amazing! She made sure that we were comfortable and safely got out of the van at each stop! Sydney told the stories of each place we visited with such vigor and you can tell she knows her stuff and that she is spiritually in tune and aware! She also told the stories with compassion and connection! We laughed, had jokes, and just really took in the energy of each place! Also, I was running a little late and she was so sweet and waited! The pictures she showed of different appearances were amazing and I really enjoyed learning the history as well! She even texted me links to the night owl podcast where I could listen to the accounts in more detail! I will be back after COVID and I hope to have Sydney as my tour guide again!

Okay so I will say the highlight of my entire weekend!! The whole tour was nothing but none stop fun and laughs! The last stop was absolutely terrifying and it make my body turn cold! Honestly best tour ever!! Shoutout to Jane! The atmosphere was just great and being able to get drunk and look for ghost and learn history about Austin was just fun and fresh would definitely recommend!!

If you’re like me and looking for THE review to decide if you go or not, let mine be yours.My boyfriend and I went to this tour for date night about a month ago and it blew our weekend out of the water. As our first tour, we were little scared and taking a risk, but it was the best decision we’ve made. Our tour guide Jane was the absolute best and accommodated is in every aspect, even finding us a bottle cap opener! It’s the little things guys. But anyways she made the tour very enjoyable and made conversation and jokes with us the entire night. Never once did it feel like she was acting and most of the time she forgot that she even had a script because of our jokes! She was genuine the entire night, even when we ended up having a bit of a scare. Im sure she remembers, she jumped too! But anyways, the combination of not having to walk everywhere, having an amazing tour guide, and a big van all to ourselves ultimately brought our relationship closer and we made tons of memories.Thank you Haunted ATX and Jane!!

The wife and I had a great time. Got this as an anniversary gift for the wifey and myself. Had a blast. Our tour guide, Jane, was awesome. Keeps you captivated with the haunted stories, with just enough comedy to break the ice. Would recommend for anybody new to the area, or wants a tour of some of the haunted history of Austin.

Great experience. Came for a sisters trip and decided to book a tour while staying at The Driskill Hotel. Would definitely recommend. We had Sydney as our tour guide and she was AMAZING! You wouldn’t be disappointed.

INCREDIBLE!! We had an absolute BLAST! Sydney was our amazing guide! She is so knowledgeable about not only the history of every location but also the hauntings! We had quite a few experiences on our tour! Driving around town in a haunted hearse was cool enough as is and would recommend this tour on that alone!So, Im going to start at the Driscoll Hotel where we felt the man at the bar walking next to us by the elevator. I also was locked into the restroom stall when I used the bathroom by the elevators by the bar. If you havent been in the bathroom, the lock on the door is a manuel hook type latch. The door felt like it was being kept shut by someone on the other side pushing the door so I couldnt get out. I had to really use my body weight and push my shoulder into it to get it open. Once I got it opened, I was a bit skeptical because Im trying to think logically like the door is just too snug in the frame and just stuck like I thought. I was terribly wrong because when I shut myself back in the stall I was using, I DID NOT have a problem with the door opening again.The Clay Pit has amazing food, so I recommend grabbing an appetizer and a $3 Mimosa while youre there! When we were downstairs in the basement, Sydney was telling us about April, her history, and the tunnels, I was tapped on my wrist like someone gently trying to get my attention. Seeing as only Sydney, my friend, and myself are the only people on the tour and they are standing in front of me I know it wasnt them so I mentioned it to Sydney. But while we were in the basement talking about Aprils story and Sydney tells about Mr. Dowdy (I may be spelling that wrong) killing April and every time she spoke about him the lights were flickering and going almost out and then slowly going back to regular brightness. We got bring out a spirit box and talk to April in the basement and April called out Sydneys name over the spirit box 3 times in a row when Sydney asked if April knew who she was! We also got to use the spirit box on the 2nd floor where Mr. Dowdy came through over the spirit box as well as what sounded like a child came through too!I would do this tour again!

We had the best time even though the buildings were all closed due to the Rona. Jane was amazing and hilarious. She definitely knew how to make us laugh and just kept us laughing all night. The hearse was the best way to go around Austin. Plus BYOB was a plus!!

My wife and I did the herst tour with Diane for our anniversary and it was so much fun. We loved visiting all the placing and learning a little bit of history and having lots of laughs. She was such a great tour guide and made our trip memorable

I surprised my family and friends with a night off the beaten path! Super cool creepy night!!! This guy scheduled plenty of spots for us and filled the night with all the spooky stories!!! The night starts with a scheduled pickup in a hurst and your off. The event is reasonably priced room enough for our group of six.

I took my brother on a private hearse tour and we had the big white hearse and Diane. Both were fabulous and it was SO fun to have an entire hearse (that carried MANY bodies in its heyday) to ourselves. I knew it was BYOB but Diane had a bucket of ice, water and sodas for us which was a lovely touch.We were picked up at our restaurant and dropped off at our hotel, in between visiting four haunted places. Thankfully, the tour itself wasnt TOO creepy (though you bet I kept looking at mirrors) but it was chock full of history, actual images from the places we visited with hauntings and packed with personality as Diane was SO great.I cant recommend this tour enough and throw in a few extra bucks for the hearse, trust me!

A group of us did this tour in their 12 passenger van. Our tour guide was amazing! She was very knowledgeable and did a great job of giving the history and facts behind all the locations we visited. The tour gained us access to some cool places that we wouldve never been able to see otherwise. BYOB in the van is a nice touch and the van was in very good condition and fit 11 of us pretty comfortably. Definitely worth the time and money to check out this tour!

Really great experience!!! Our tour guide Sarah was very knowledgeable and kept us very engaged. Would definitely recommend to anyone even if you don’t believe in the paranormal it is still a fun experience to get to know some Austin History.

We went on a more intimate tour with just our family and a guide, Jane. We saw four historic and haunted sites. Jane was Great and very informative. We saw flickering lights and heard some audible sounds at one site....The Claypit which was at i.e. time a general store....and a family home....Very unsettling but if you believe its all Good. As a history fanatic myself took me. back to what they were at one time. Great Fun!

Taking a tour with Haunted ATX was a great experience! Perfect combination between learning a bit more about the seedy history of Austin and listening to fun stories told by an engaging speaker.Julie was excellent in both driving us around in that big van through the busy streets of downtown and campus, as well as keeping the tour both entertaining & educational.We made 4 stops total: The Tavern, The Littlefield House, The Clay Pit, and the Capitol Building with 4 different salacious histories The entire thing was about 3 hours so plan accordingly.This was the regular van tour and I also hear they have a hearse tour - which sounds like a lot of fun. If you get a chance, definitely book the hearse (it sells out fast).Im a local and we did this as a present for a friend whos leaving town. I imagine its also a fun visitor activity - we actually had two out-of-town couples with us.Im only rating this 4 stars because the best ghost tour I ever did was in New Orleans and I keep comparing all other tours to that one.

What a fun (and alternative) night out in Austin. We had such a bast and though I am not a firm believer in ghosts, I was questioning my beliefs by the end of the tour. However, the tour was also a cool History lesson none the less. If you like eventful and alternative ways to have fun in Austin I would suggest this tour. Our host, Julie, did such a great job showing us around and I will 100% recommend this to a friend.

We were visiting from Fort Worth and Arlington on a girls trip 8/25/2018 and we absolutely loved this tour. Our tour guide did a wonderful job. Things are a lot more interesting at night. BUT I must say it does get very hot in the back of the hearse .

My friends and I came from Colorado and have been eyeing so this tour for awhile. It did not disappoint. Whether you are a believer or a skeptic, there is enough history and cool stories to keep anyone entertained. We had a great time seeing different parts of Austin, learning some cool history, and grabbing a drink at The Tavern while learning about a brothel. Ally, our tour guide, was awesome and provided great stories! Plus, you ride in the back of a hearse. When else will you do that and remember it?! Just so you know, if you have a problem with stairs, be warned, there are stairs. One place had elevators, but the other 2 did not. Quite a bit of standing too. I would totally recommend this tour to anyone who wants a fun night out!

Mark did an amazing job on the True Crime tour. He clearly put a great deal of time and effort into researching the crimes featured on the tour. His deeply detailed account of the Texas Tower shooting was especially chilling. I highly recommend Haunted Atx for a memorable night!

Not worth the price. Julie is very nice, but it is definitely not worth $50.

This was GREAT fun! Mark was our undertaker and was awesome! He has the look and the information with great delivery. We couldnt have been more pleased! I recommend this to everyone!!

So we rented this for my daughters Lucky 13 birthday party today. We had an AWESOME time. The kids loved it, and I highly recommend them. Our driver was exhausted after the kids wore us (the adults) out, but she was fantastic with them. She arranged a scavenger hunt all over downtown with stops at the Capital building, Lucy in Disguise, the Graffiti Wall, and a couple other great places. If you are out of ideas for your kids, give this one a try.

This tour of Austin was Wicked Cool. So much history you wouldnt normally find out about. Chris is a great guide to the haunted side of ATX. Very casual and entertaining the whole trip.Riding in the Hearse was awesome. You gotta try it BEFORE you die; Not after.

This is a cool experience, especially around halloween time. You get some extremely detailed background stories of the buildings in Austin, along with some chilling ghost stories. Would definitely recommend doing at least once!

We took this tour about 5 years ago. We all still talk about it. Not only did we go to hotspots but we also learned some history. I would recommend this tour to all ages.

Not only did this tour stop at some truly amazing places with haunted history, they got us access to restricted areas of some of Austins most haunted buildings and establishments. If youre on the fence and unsure of whether or not you want to take this tour, BOOK IT.
