Such a wonderful park with a beautiful stage with murals dedicated to the Mexican culture in Austin, Texas. A nice playground and large field. However the grass does have a lot sharp and large spikes due to the sticker bugs, as I like to call them, in the grass. So I wouldnt recommend rolling around in the grass or having a picnic without bringing a thick blanket or chairs. There are some benches and tables in the park but it is first come first served. I personally like to have picnics and photoshoots there with friends. Its truly a underrated hidden jem of ATX.

I enjoy coming to this park. Its colorful with beautiful art to take photos and have lunch at one of the picnic tables.

Love the new upgrades on the playground. Only problem is we still have people using the field as a dog park and not picking up after there pets and pets continue to be off leashes. More signs would help in this matter for the safety of our children that use the area during school recess.

Decent little park, grass could be maintained a little better and there are some nasty biting ants so careful if you try to lay out on a towel or something. Paddle courts are great, as is the playground

Great park, which hosts a variety of space-sharing sports groups and is also the pickup point for a pedal car/drinking thing. Great location, heavily used. Theres a community center in the area as well. If I could vote it down for anything, it would be water/bathrooms. They technically exist, but are locked/unusable most of the time. Most of the groups that use the park just plan ahead not to assume that they work.

I love that the minorities still keep the public aware that we still have a say so. We still matter & history in the neighborhood is important. Vote with recognition!

I live in a posh bit to the west of Austin, so take my enthusiasm and bump it up even more, because its born of experience with the costly bourgeois bits which dont truly represent Austin as it should be - this park and surrounding area make me want to move there. Its super nice, friendly, cosmopolitan and just much nicer to be around than the parks near where I live. This IS Austin. I really am considering looking for a place near here, to be a part of this fantastic community.

Such a cool music venue. We saw the Honk Tex festival there and it was great. The amphitheater was at the bottom of a hill so the viewing was great from even further away. The park looked great for kids and there was a great looking baseball field as well.

Very rich cultural appeal. Theres a playground for children and family to enjoy. Its a nice-lookin, retroactive amphitheatre. & Theres also locals whom still utilize it for traditional, folkloric festivities.

Tr
Review №30

Very friendly place to go out and throw the ball around or play soccer. There is a small amphitheater that sometimes hosts events. The small baseball field isnt open to the public which is a bummer, you have to join one of the many social Austin leagues to play kickball on the field.
