An awesome local business keeping the magic of arcades from our youth alive. Its a great spot for family events or a date night. Ive been here several times and always the value for the price is unmatched. There is no bar or food, but what there is are a ton of amazing arcade games, just like when we were kids. Highly recommended - I love supporting this small business, which embodies all the good things about our community.

I love this place its fun a good way to be lazy and spend there for hours I love the free games maybe some of them has a broken button. I wish I can give the money to fix the games and get newer games! The prices are pretty good not to bad. Good prices I love their specials too. Good for all the family to just hang out. But again I really like their games and everything I really wish wish someone could give money or I wish I could get some money to fix the games and get newer games for the place wont die.

This place is awesome, i would give it a 5 star rating but the issue is that it stinks there. I still go anyways and have fun. But it stinks. Maybe Im the one that stinks but it couldnt be. I asked my girlfriend and she said it wasnt me. So i just thought maybe she was just trying to make me feel good. So i took another girl, and asked the same question. Still same answer. So my conclusion is that it does stink in there.

A wonderful place to come for a date night or with your family! Half the venue is pay to play with tickets for prizes, and half the venue is free games to play as much as you like. Because of the frequent use of the games, there is usually one or two being repaired, but they are very quick to call for repairs and have it fixed so you can enjoy it. Entrance is cheap and they conveniently have bags of nickels ready for you to purchase. There specials are fantastic, one for each day of the week they are open. The staff have always been courteous and fun and respond to issues immediately. Its one of my favorite places to go with friends and my partner!

It was fun to play the vintage video games. And the are free. Have a choice of pizza or sandwiches for birthdays.. The sandwichs were small but just right for kids. Chips were included and drinks. Also cupcakes. The retro games were fun. They also had some that cost the nickle. It was kinda crazy. You dont want to leave them alone. Cost to get in is under $5. It really wasnt bad. So fun! You pay a flat fee to enter which includes most of the video games in the back. For nickels, you can play ski ball and other arcade games. Some cost several nickels (30 cents for guitar hero, 50 cents for DDR) , but still super affordable. We spent a great time here to end our trip.

Our family loves nickel a play! It is a frequent spot for affordable fun. Its a bit aged and run down, but for us it just feels homey and nostalgic. I love this kind of a place compared to overpriced arcades. Personally we think the Wednesday best. Free admission with buying a $5 bag of coins. Were a family of 7 so we pay $35, but only actually use about $15 worth of coins because so many games are free. Then we rewrap the coins and turn back into the bank. I know it sounds cheap but for s hug family on a budget its fun quality time without breaking the bank!

I really miss a true arcade.. and this just hit the spot. It is small and dated (the dated part could he said about me too!) but the value is amazing. Free games, weekday incentives and discounts, and the prize booth has some great unique items!Would love to come back when we are in the area again.[Owners]-Thanks for putting up not operational signs! #1pet peeve of mine.-Amazing value.. hope it can stay.-Loosen up the mechanical claw prizes, I play these often and I could tell just by looking there was no way we were getting prizes from those machines. The plastic balls for tickets were good. My 6yo really liked that.-hope there are creative ways to get the games repaired and possibly some updated ones without changing the cost too much.

Best value for under $10, this place is great! You will pay about $5 to get in, and you will get $1 in nickles to use. But all the non-ticket games are free and do not require coins to play. There are also deals for getting in and buying a drink, a sandwich or pizza when you enter. They also have daily deals Monday through Thursday, of which these are actual good deals, like buy-one-get-one entry, free entry with $5 of nickles purchased, or just giving you 1000 tickets with entry paid.If you have kids and want to let them play older games for hours without constantly begging you for coins and money, then this is your place. The games are arcade standard, and vintage, but are all fun and an incredibly good deal for the price.Sometimes games are not working, or malfunction. But that is no different than Dave and Busters either, its just a hazard of Arcades. If you want an inexpensive afternoon or date night, then you can drop $10 here and have a great time.

Review №64

Dirty, run-down, and in terrible repair. 1 out of 3 machines is either broken completely or unusable. Most arcade machines have burn-in and broken handles/switches. Every item in the building is grungy, covered in filth- from sticky, gross arcade buttons to black and grey and brown smudges all over every wall. Its honestly hard to touch anything wihtout fear or revulsion. Epic cobwebs and dust coat all of the items in the ticket exchange, and the tops of all the machines. If you look closely in the Claw machines, the bottom layers are literally rotting and crushed, flattened, old toys that have likely been there for years- they must just keep loading new on top of old. The heat in the building is intense. There is not ONE place to sit down, and you cannot have food or liquid on the game floor. Their inexact method of ticket calculation leaves much to be desired; and the incredibly lazy daily ticket voucher system is really only there so they can, in future, deny you your fairly earned tickets when you return and try to redeem them. Adults Note: This is NOT some cool barcade-type situation for adults to go and enjoy nostalgia and have a ton of fun. There are not many nostalgia-worthy arcade games at all (barely any classics). The Ski Ball is always broken or malfunctioning. Teh Air Hockey is dinged and chipped and damaged. Nickel-A-Play is strictly for the toddler and young child set. This is a poor-mans Chuck E Cheese. You will lose money. You will lose tickets. You will probably get ill from the total lack of cleaning and/or maintenance. And dont DARE have a complaint, issue or question: the hardened, life-weathered Manageress will fix her dead, soulless eyes on you, and that will be the very end of your fun, I promise. Skip it and go somewhere with functional machines and a Manager that cares about providing passable customer service.Editing review post covid-19 as it seems much cleaner and clearer now.

If you are looking for the pristine, glitzy Dave and Busters experience, go elsewhere. This arcade feels like arcades did in the 80s. Some machines dont quite work, others are well loved (beat up but still delivering 16-bit goodness), and others feel like museum pieces that shouldnt still work but do. And there are kids everywhere. And it is amazing. It feels like an arcade should feel--filled with joy and laughing and running around and an overworked staff who still manages to help you out with a smile even though Im sure the margins on this place are thin. Kids will love all the ticket machines and the weird prizes; adults will love Pacman and Galaga.
