Some of my friends and I went to this roller rink this past week. We had a really good time and if there was not a global pandemic, I would have given this place a better rating. When we arrived, over half of the people were not wearing masks, including many of the employees. There was also no social distancing and an overwhelming amount of people. At this time, I would not recommend going due to the rapid increase of cases in Illinois.

Cant say enough about this place. This is probably the ONLY place were I feel comfortable dropping off my teens and picking them up in several hours. Knowing that they would have a great time with great teen music and most importantly be iff their screens. Right now on Friday evenings and Saturdays 1-4 its so called Teen nights. They have 50 participants limit and if its a larger party, I recommend buying tickets online to reserve your spots. Masks are required but not so obligated to wear them during skate time. There are sanitizing stations all over. We felt safe.

A great local spot of skating for teens, families and adults. Always have a blast. Great music and people. Friday night is the best!

Loved the skate center, the staff was very friendly, and although the place isnt very big, the atmosphere is wonderful. They also had fun activities such as a race and a game. Had a blast of a time with my girlfriend.

This was the first time I ever skated anywhere other than my home rink. We had a great time. We had a little birthday party for my granddaughter at her home school group. There wasnt many people overcrowding and the games were fun. The staff was friendly and helpful. Plenty of skates and there was a decent food menu. We had such fun and will definately be visiting again! They offer plenty of days and times for everyone to choose from and they even offer roller skating lessons

Old school that reminds me when I was a kid. But a nice place to skate and the prices are reasonable. My Sweetie loves going as well.

My family and I had a great time. The staff was very nice. My church rented the space for a skate night and we had a blast. The price is reasonable and it was just a fun environment.

The floor is FANTASTIC for skating on, the owner guy is knowledgeable, and the people there seem to always be fun. The only reason I give it 4 stars was because of some extremely unprofessional behaviour from a worker there. It was an older lady (dont know if she is an owner or what). First me and my son sat there VERY AWKWARDLY, while this lady screamed at an employee. And I mean screamed, people (about a non-issue).Then the same night when someone asked her for a cup (to pour a soda into they just bought from the vending machine because their soda machine was down) she replied We dont hand things out. It comes in a can, you dont need a cup. Someone else and for a cup for water from the drinking fountain and she gave almost the same response if you want a cup you can buy a bottle from the vending machine and use that. Its not just what she said its how she says it too. Its EXTREMELY rude and demeaning And this was to some young people. That doesnt seem to teach them any bit of politeness.I dont want to diss the whole place based on one employee, but she was/is a terribly mean person to everyone that speaks to her.

Nice, smooth floor, with decent lighting and sound system. Played a great variety of music to skate to. Will return when Im back in town!

Got to spend a little time with my boys good place for kids and family to enjoy being together, also having fun.

This has become our Saturday ritual. I don’t have to worry about the music they play because it’s all for the youth. Staff’s super friendly. My little one’s forever falling on the skate floor and they do nothing but encourage him to keep at it. Saturday classes for him are awesome. Snack bar allows us to indulge in nachos for two.If you’re interested in a little Saturday Funday along with a little cardio workout then you and the family should stop by.

This place is amazing besides that they NEVER and I mean NEVER play requested songs. I’ve requested many many songs (i’ve been coming here for over a year now) and they never play any of the songs that I request. Please I am begging you play requested songs because I know i’m not the only one who gets VERY upset.

I love skating and this rink is ok. Little smaller then I am used to but Floor is well maintained.Music is good/appropriate for a matinee. I enjoyed it and so did my kids. I will return a few more times.

Very nice family friendly environment. Great staff. Clean, plenty of parking. Kids an adults seems to really enjoy. With many games to play . Time flies.

It felt good to be on skates again!!!

Excellent place to have fun and also exercise a little. It is affordable and is definitely worth the money. The music is good and you can also pick songs to play. I learned fast in 30 minutes I was able to skate without lean at the walls.

Great fun place for kids and parents if they can skate. You don’t need to have your own skates as they let you rent skates as well. They have beginner classes every week Saturday at noon. Great way to learn if you are a beginner. We go there almost twice a month.

Cool skating rink thats been around for a while. They tend to play an over abundance of 80s tunes. Not that theres anything wrong with that. It depends on whos spinning the platters for the night. We usually go on Thursday or Saturday nights and it seems Thursdays are more crowded most of the time. Is a great place to skate. BUT... Stay away from the snack bar when theres more than one person in line and you want something they have to warm up. Usually its one person behind the counter and it seems they always get flustered. Then youre waiting for your fries or pizza slice for so long that you ask about it and they turn around and grab it out of the warmer that its been sitting in because when it was ready they didnt make the effort to get it to you. Even when youre sitting RIGHT THERE! Its happened to us three times on consecutive visits. We eat before we go now.Now that the rant is over, I want to say I do like this place.

Nice referees, exceptional price for 4 hours. Aurora Skate Center also has dances,races, and games to play.

Had a blast there. Everyone was exceptional and it was so much fun.Went there for my great granddaughters 3rd birthday. They have pvc pipes made up for different sizes of kids to hold on to and skate. Did different things like the Hokey Pokey and races. Just all around fun for adults and almost all ages. Cake was brought in, I dont know if that wasan option or not. Can bring your own skates or rent them. Everyone had a great time.

Great group of people, staff and music Saturday nights. All ages 7 to 10, and now adults 18 and up from 10 to midnight. Old vs new music on Saturday nights provides variety of music to satisfy all ages of skaters and even parents who accompany their kids. Highly recommend to all looking for an enjoyable skate night.

I was there for a party, we were having fun. We decided to skate in a line. While we were skating this man who looked about 30 went between me and my friends and slapped our buts (2 of us) we went to tell the manager and they said they would deal with it. They talked to him for a few seconds and then let him back on the rink. We were confused on why so we asked why and they said “oh, he’s a regular.” And shooed us off. We went to tell her dad. Her dad then went back to management and told them. They continued to defend the man that hit our butts. My friends dad called the police. They asked us what happened and we told them. While the police were off questioning the guy who did it the other person who owned the place asked us where he hit our but, and we told her it was on the rink, and she rolled her eyes and said it was an accident. Turns out the guy was 16 and the police drove him home to scare him. So DONT GO THERE! One of my friends that was with us went there and said it was under the same management.

Dont expect anything extra here or it will disappoint!I went on Saturday night for their old school, new school day, but it the music choices were flooded with old school. The DJ asked the crowd to put their song requests on a sheet so they can play it. Not a single song got played from that list.After skating for a while I decided to stop and get some drinks and food but to my surprise the drinks tasted like rotten eggs because of the weird water line they have there. Then the three dollar funnel cake I ordered was the smallest funnel cake in the world. It was the size of a kids hand.On top of that, this staffer that hands out skates and insures safety on the rink was extremely rude. He was yelling at guests left and right the entire night. I dont know if he is the owner or not but something has to be done about him.As you can see, be very wary of your visit here. Its not that bad if you just expect to skate the whole time but bring your own water, buy food at your own risk, lay low so you dont get yelled at and remember the requested song list doesnt mean anything at all.

Staff extremely rude!!! To in force the rules of no drinks, the old guy there yanked the bottle form the guests mouth with a scream and rude remarks!! Embarrassing and over the limit!! I hope they hire more friendly and kind personal.

I love this rink. Their wooden floor is so smooth and they keep it up. One of my favorite places to skate.

Ive been going to Aurora skate since I was 8 years old. And now Im taking my child. I am amazed at how clean this place is and how they have maintained it throughout the years. Its a great place to take a family for a fun afternoon, a birthday party, or a very unique date. Im looking forward to going back

Skated the homeschool skate. No DJ just music. Not crowded. Adults skate free with paying child.

My kids loved it here. The staff are very nice and very accommodating. They have trainers which really helped with my 3 year old and they even offered my 3 year old some crayons and coloring books after she fell down and didnt want to go back out on the rink. Great place!!

Was there on a Wednesday night and it was pretty good. Saturday night was a different story. The music wasnt all that loud but the bass was moving cars around in the parking lot. For Saturday night, head for Xtream Wheels.

Came here for my 14th birthday and I love this place so much. Its a little run down and I dont really know how to skate but if I was to learn how to skate this would be the place I would want to learn. Deffinetly considering coming back again.

I had a birthday party with about 50 kids. It ran smooth. The staff was super helpful. 100% recommend. I will be doing another bday party here.

They have this cool free admission pass that they give kids for the summer to come and skate on select days. The customer service was great,the dj was awesome. I liked the lil fun shop they have.The only complaints the food choices arent the best and the area off the rink is way too small. My son loved the hot dogs though

Super friendly staff, very knowledgeable and a great atmosphere. In dyer need of an update though! They serve well water(gross), even ice cubes are well water so drinks smell like rotten eggs, really cheap pizza and a trough urinal in mens bathroom, so you better keep your eyes up unless you want to see a random penis or two. Not a lot of skates in stock for purchase right now.

Old school skating, but fun and friendly

I had my daughters bday party there on the Feb 17th and I have to say my experience was very satisfying. My only job was to bring the cake and our birthday party host Kathy did the rest and she did a fantastic job. That was my first time there and I was impressed

Its always fun to go there especially if you know how to skate. They play different music, can appeal to different crowds and the ladies that help with the kids parties are helpful and nice.

Was visiting out of town on adult night with 5 people. Wont be visiting here again. Was told cant wear skates without stoppers should buy some at their counter.

Real fun, I like to skate here on Thursdays for homeschool skate, and some different days.they have a live DJ and lots of activitys, I have been to a lot of rinks and this one is by far the best I have ever attended.food and drinks are expensive, water fountain is disgusting - so bring your own snacks to sneak in ;)

Normally enjoy myself everytime i go. Nice set up and great place to grove in. Employees are great just surprised i havent seen James in a while wonder what happened to him. Great guy and ref. Enjoy talking with him and hope that everything is ok.

You are not WHITE, so your not welcome here, the owner will treat you unrespectfully to force you leave and not come back again, he makes it very clear, so just take the advice and take your family to another place. Many friends families had the experience

The best place ever with me being a skater

Ill start by saying that Joe, and the rest of the staff are great. The snack bar has good food, and they usually have a type of music you can skate to, depending on what you like, and what night you go. HOWEVER, stay away from this place on Friday nights. The smart mouth, trouble making trash that hangs out here on Friday nights makes for a really unpleasant experience. They throw food, harass other customers that are just minding their own business (I once had some ignorant kid come up to me, asking for some of the pop I bought for my daughter and myself); I have seen them get kicked out, but they think its a big joke, and are very disrespectful towards the staff. Oh, and the Friday night music sucks. Lose that hip-hop garbage, and maybe the riff-raff will go away.

The skate rink itself is okay/mediocre at its best, but the customer service is severely lacking in every aspect of the establishment. When I visited they had the gift shop open but literally no employees there to help or service and when asking for assistance to be given they completly neglected the customers. Not to mention the skate rental was depressingly slow and that was with us pre - paying for our skates and entry days prior to our visit. The food court was unkept and had the slowest and most dishoveled order, took a long time to receive the correct order and the food was of very poor quality. Would not recommend visiting.
