Fun place for a large group in a pavilion- have to reserve it- and a great enclosed playground for smaller kiddos. Ballfield is good as well.

Playground appropriate for older kids, but that didnt stop my 1 year old and me from checking it out. The playground is older, but had slides, swings, and a rock climbing wall. The playground and bathrooms are accessible via a flight of concrete stairs, though there appeared to be a back entrance that may be more handicap accessible, but Im not sure. Leashed dog-friendly. I did not like that I couldnt see my vehicle from the playground. Otherwise, always thankful for public spaces like these!

Its a good place to take the kids and let them ride their bikes. And you set under the the shed and talk, read a book or something.

Peaceful, quiet, public park. Very safe and clean! Love hearing & seeing the wildlife, and people! A sanctuary for birds too!

I live literally directly across the street from West Asheville Park and its the cutest little park, perfect for my 3 yr old to play on for hours! They have swings, 3 different size slides, and its well kept, bathrooms are always very clean and not a far walk away. When field games are going on, the concession stand is open with a good variety of snacks, and at an actually decent price! Just all around great, family/kid/pet friendly park!

Nice little park to enjoy with kids or dogs. Park is clean and well maintained. It could use some updating but nothing was broken or not function during my visit.

This is a decent park but just not up to par with some of the other playgrounds in Asheville. There are swings with baby and regular swings. The play structure is decent-for kids that are maybe at least 4 & up. There is a small play structure for babies and littler toddlers but its not much. There is a covered picnic table and a nice little stream. Theres also a baseball field with some batting/pitching cages.

This park is WAY too secluded. It makes me feel unsafe when we are the only ones playing there.

My mom and I were visiting West Asheville and while we waited for the restaurant we wanted to visit to open, we went to this park. I ate cheese popcorn and she drank a beer while we sat on a minefield of anthills️

Nice little park at the end of Vermont Ave. Had a little league baseball field, a nice playground with two slides and a few swings. Small Pavillion with two picnic tables for parties. Two creeks, one running thru the playground, the other right next to the field. Has bathrooms that are open seasonally (April-Nov). Baseball field is maintained well. Also has a batting cage. My family loves this little oak.

Small playground but well kept. Out of the way and shaded by trees in morning at least. Would come again for same purpose, short stint for burning off kids energy.

This was a great find, the park has alot of things for the kids to do, including a little Creek to play in and a good sized playground! The park is a little hard to find, bit that is great because it isnt over crowded!

I had not visited this park in a couple of years past; so I decided to walk my sisters little dog Tosha to this park from my mothers house and we had a wonderful time there. Met some friendly people who also had a little puppy dog in their company and the two dogs had fun playing together for a short time. After the people left the park with their dog, me and Tosha walked over to a nearby stream and we chilled there just soaking up the sun leaving my worries behind for the time being. I would come to this park again and again once it gets warm.

Pretty nice little park, honestly feels like a hidden gem in this little neighborhood. Surprisingly well kept up, only missing amenities are bathrooms during winter, and any larger grassy areas (which appear to have been exchanged for a massive parking lot)
