Had the best time today at Asheville gem mine. Got the 100$ bucket for 3 kids and it was more than a 3,4,and 7 year old could handle. The owner is very sweet and very nicely answered any of our questions while mining or about anything in the shop we were looking at. This was our 2and trip there and will be returning for our 3rd trip for sure.

Andrew took great care of my family and lifelong friend of my wife and myself! My two little girls ages 4 and 6 were just glued to digging and working on finding gems which we found a ton!!!! Andrew again throughout the whole process was very informative and fun!

This place was awesome. The guy working was very helpful and made sure our children had a great time. Next time we come near Ashville we will definitely stop by and support this business.

Very nice place, clean lots of gems, stones to choose from. The only issue is the workers, who have so much contact with customers, do not wear a mask. Doesnt matter if you believe the mask works or not ( faith based belief). They should out of respect of others wear it.

Great value for the experience! The bucket that we mined had so many beautiful gems, and the gentlemen running the store took the time to talk to my son about what he mined. My son loved hearing about the gems that he just mined - definitely a high point of our trip to Asheville!

What a wonderful find! Beautiful stones, gorgeous handmade jewelry and much more. Gem mining as well for the kidos and they young at heart. Staff were super friendly and knowledgeable. Add this to your list of places to visit for sure!

This store is fabulous. Solid joyous vibe, feng-shui-ed beautifully and their mined gems are outstanding at a great price. Ben is awesome. While visiting Asheville from Los Angeles, I went back to the store a couple of times to get more gems. Love it.

Best thing for kids to do downtown Asheville. Treasure hunting fun and a super cool store where you can find or buy gems, fossils, and more. See the dinosaur skull!

Great find. Happened on the store yesterday and went in because it looked like a museum. The owner was really nice and gave us lots of information on the different rock specimens. We even tried a bit of gem mining and had a great time. Check it out!
