Beautiful park with beautiful waterfowl everywhere to enjoy the pond as we all were. There was good and bads to this experience, it were our first time over. Well start with the goods.I notice they have a live bait vending machine which I find to be very convenient to fishermen/women looking for more live bait to catch trout. Very clean and easy to access parking. Security does laps around the pond so its very well monitored and you feel safe there to just relax and enjoy the calls of the many ducks and geese there at the park. We went in the fall and the leaves are a sight to see, very beautiful scenery. Now for the bad..It were overly crowded at the pond with about half people wearing masks and the other half not wearing masks. My husband and I both took masks and managed to find a spot a good six feet from the other crowded guests. Sadly, people came and got too close to our own set up, two wore masks, the other five or six did not wear masks. There were a lot of screaming children running around, one group of three caught a fish only to have it out so long that it died. Unfortunately they tossed the body back into the water. We think someone reported it, but we couldnt find anyone at the time patrolling to talk to about it. No clue where their parents were. Another group of children came close with a flock of waterfowl following them for bread. They tossed bread into the water close to our lines and caused the birds to make a lot of noise and splashing. No doubt it scared off any fish in our vicinity.. we decided to pack up early and before we could even fold up our chairs someone tried to hurry and nudge us out of our spot. We gathered our items after telling them to at least give us some space to breathe before they stepped on our things and left.I dont know if well be back again after seeing how packed it is, but I dont blame it. Tingley Beach is a popular fishing spot after all. I just wish the experience was more relaxing! We went there to escape the stress of life and instead left even more stressed and drained than we began with! Well just be sticking to National Park Lakes from here on out. Much more secluded and quiet.

Beautiful Autumn day to visit the famous Tingley Park! Fishing is the top activity, although we came across other walkers along the path. Theres a nice bicycle path and picnic benches too. The highlight of our walk was dipping our feet in the Rio Grande.

Went to see if we could spot porcupines. Nonluck today, but we saw lots of Painted (native) and Red-eared (not native) Slider Turtles as well as what we thought was a Side-neck turtle? It was huge and though obviously not native, was not either of the other species. Lots of Canada Geese and regular white Geese. A few Ducks. Nice weather. Unfortunately, no facilities and no trash cans past the Visitors Center. Walking the trails, we saw a LOT of trash!!

Really enjoy riding my bike in the Bosque and the area around Tingley Beach. Its beautiful any time of year but especially in the late summer and fall. I recommend riding the single track trails off the paved path. Its not difficult and more scenic.

This is a beautiful little lake to take your children to fish or feed the grease. Its so much better before Covid of course... And Im sure itll return to normal where theyll have boat rentals and tackle shop with snacks. Be advised this lake is in the heart or the city so it can attract the occasional unsavory type so use your discretion and avoid engaging with them especially if you are with children.

I would usually go feed the ducks, but today I decided to hit all of them especially after they had done so much work fixing Tingley Beach. The last Pond is absolutely gorgeous. Tingley Duck Pond has new arrivals.

This place is good for walking, but thats it. You cant really do anything else, unless youre willing to feed the ducks that reside here. I would say that spending around an hour here is more than enough, as there are better places to go in Albuquerque.

It was beautiful and incredibly fresh and cool after an early morning rainfall. The bugle vines were still blooming and the ducks and geese were entertaining. The only disappointing thing was the young, fit runners who refused to wear masks to protect against #trumpVirus. 100% of the bicyclists and 75% of the walkers I saw were wearing masks, but very few runners wore them.

Amazing park, not really a beach (coming from LA I expected to see sand there, but its all concrete sidewalks), but its lovely. A lot of birds, and seems like quite a lot of fish as well (I saw fishermen pulled out a big fish a few times) . There are picnic areas and sculptures there. And a plenty of parking. And last but not the least - dogs are allowed in the park!

I went to this park expecting a beach in the middle of the desert lol. But I was pleasantly surprised to find a wonderful family friendly park full of ducks. There is a beautiful water feature, a fishing area, and a cute park area for the kids. We stayed for a while feeding the ducks that walk up to you and eat directly from your hand. This was a awesome experience. If Im ever in the area again, Ill definitely stop by to feed the ducks.

This is a very nice area and little park. I was not sure what to expect but I will definitely come back when I have more time. I would love to go fishing at their catch and release lake they have. The geese and duck pond is also very unique and maybe people are out here soaking in the rays and watching them do their thing. There is also a restaurant here but I didn’t go. Maybe I will when I come again.

I enjoy biking here..They close the gates at sunset so make sure to park outside if you go late so that your automobile is not gated in. There are trails inside the Bosque the big cottonwood trees give so much shade. If you jump in the river you will be able to walk across because the deepest it gets is waist high on most of the time it is knee high about two or three feet. My dog and I will see you there because we are avid visitors. You may see wild life like owls snakes and even the Mexican wolfs..Be safe, be smart and most important be respectful to nature and they will be respectful of you because you are also a part of nature.

We Paddle boat Staff were great!Tip: Paddle, then coast to save energy, you will tire quickly.Tip: Buy “duck feed” which is frozen peas and corn at the train station which are good for the ducks!

A cute little duck pond in the middle of town with all sorts of geese and ducks. You can hop on the Bosque Trail (a constellation of interconnected paved and dirt trails) from here and walk/bike all over the city. While we were there we saw a park ranger giving duck feed to people hanging out at the beach, so maybe youll get lucky and get to feed the ducks while youre there!
