I love this campground! Our family always go here around sunset time and explore the exotic rock formations. Its so peaceful and beautiful. You can reserve the site. A must visit when you come to Joshua Tree National Park.
The scenery is very beautiful. It may not be enough for those who like the trail, but its a great trail for beginners and kids. We were able to see rabbits, rats, lizards, caterpillars and yellow to pink flowers. If you are lucky, you can see the turtle, but due to the threat of extinction, you only need to take pictures and look at them without touching them.
Peaceful place! I love it.
Short easy walk through a wash.
We love all these trails...if you want a trail isnt as surrounded by people but still cool scenery, then try this area. Great day areas to park and hike in the Indian cove side
Beautiful area with lots of different sights. A nice area to walk around.
Beautiful area. Theres even cell phone coverage in some places.
Ive been going here since I was born and I love it here! Never stops being fun!
Nice little trail. Appreciated the explanations about the local flora and fauna. Great time to go right now just after the big wash came through. It seemed to be bringing out creatures and washing up interesting things we may not have seen otherwise.
Had a fantastic day of bouldering here!
Easy stroll or camp sites available.
Great little trail, we went about an hour before sunset and were lucky enough to see a desert tortoise out looking for some dinner!
Beautiful, stark vistas of the desert and the rocky outcroppings. No dogs on this trail, which is a side trail before you get to the campground.
Beautiful nature trail through typical high Mojave desert environment. We went in early April and there were flowers everywhere. Other hikers were looking for a waterfall in the rocks but I suspect that would only be flowing in Jan or Feb.
Loved it
Not sure if we actually found the trail... Was nice, wherever we were.
Wonderful, look forward to coming back
Really enjoy your National Parks, the diversity is amazing.
Short walk, beautiful scenery. It gets crowded around sunset as the local campers are back at that time and walk around.
Went camping for two nights during the week,it was pretty awesome, sites along with bathrooms were clean no showers , the stars are so amazing at night with zero city light pollution, we will definitely go back!!
Nice short trail with lots of information about native plants. No parking after 10 pm!
Lovely trail especially for families with little ones
Surreal scenery! Definitely worth a visit.
A nice place for skyview
Love the rock formations but the parking lot loop makes you think the trail is in front of the parking. The signs to the trail are away from the rocks off to the right of the parking. Pit toilets but they are clean and dont smell. Just need more signs to help first timers. Another group went on the wrong trail too.
If you are staying at the Indian Cove campground definitely make the walk. Its a quick easy little loop with signs describing the local plants and animals. Perfect for the little ones.
Nice facility. Easy access to stunning natural beauty, magnificent rock formations.
Great easy hike for the kids.
I like this place very good for hiking.
Beautiful landscapes and wild hicks with stone structures...
Beautiful rocks....Great camping spot at Indian cove....Very beautiful in the night for star gazing
Good clean fun
Best spirituale place
A short hike with interesting plaques in front of plants that describe how the Native Americans used each one to treat maladies from an upset stomach, to hemorrhoids, to sexually transmitted diseases.
Breathtaking!!
