Near the Salt Flats lies one of the most beautiful, color enriched, natural mineral beds. The Chloride Beds are a skip away from the Salt Flats and are definitely worth the stop on your way to Las Vegas. I am in absolute love! We knew they were around where wed be driving on Route 66 but literally saw it randomly on the side of the road. The color was absolutely breathtaking, teal is my absolute favorite color and I CANNOT wait to print that picture out. It is such a beautiful sight in the middle of the desert! It goes on for miles and miles! Word to the wise, do not drone here! A gentleman came by while we were taking pictures and my husbands drone was resting on the ground. He told us that we couldnt be so close and that droning isnt allowed.

This is an interesting place. Not a lot of moving parts so if you need a good amount of stimulation this is probably not for you. BUT...if you enjoy looking at something different...maybe learning something...then I recommend a visit.
