Where to start with Brengman Brothers...? From the 20ft stone fireplace to the exposed timber frame construction the ambiance of this place is top notch. Equally important, the wine does not disappoint as well. I would love to have an event or a wedding at this venue. 10/10-Will be back again.

This place. How can I explain how many good memories I have had here. Great wine and always a friendly face. My wife and I always seem to meet randomly cool people here. Tonight during their second weekend of opening during the pandemic it was some random British guy buying us glasses of red. Last time we were hanging with the owner talking about running though the vinyards and before that a cool south American couple. We never fail to have a great time.

Wines are great, pizza is even better! Not offering any tours because of COVID-19, but we were able to wander around the grounds with a glass while we waited for our pizza. Masks were worn by all staff, guests were able to take them off at the tasting bar & tables.

One of the newer wineries on Leelanau Peninsula but their wine tends to be on the mature side. They have some different/innovative aging methods - earthen cement - that produce some different wines despite familiar varietals. A definite must stop!

Brengman Brothers holds a special place in my heart, no only because it was my wedding/reception venue in June 2013, but also because of the hospitality that Robert (owner) shows to all who walk through his doors. The whole crew at Brengman is wonderful to talk with and not to mention, they produce some of THE best wine that comes out of Michigan! The 2011 line of wines were spectacular and so is the 2012! I cannot say enough great things about this vineyard. The view is spectacular, the people are great, and the atmosphere is homey. Not to mention all my wedding guests still swoon over my wedding day, okay, well specifically the wine & venue.

Our favorite winery. Have been coming here since 2012. Liked it so much, we had our wedding ceremony and reception at Brengman in 2016. Staff is always friendly and helpful (especially Lauren). Wine is great and its a beautiful tasting room and vineyard. We will be going back for years to come.

I cant say Ive been to every vineyard this great peninsula has to offer, but I have been to Brengman Brothers, and in that I can say I am incredibly lucky. Gorgeous views, bright & modern tasting room with windows everywhere you look. The wines are fantastic!!! Especially their ice wine, a true 21st Century ambrosia worth every penny you can throw at it. Everything just screams tranquil serenity. The staff are great. You may even meet one of the friendly, down-to-earth owners. This is simply not one you want to pass up!

We went here for the first time in the winter. Nobody else was around and we got there just as they were opening. Very early. Despite this, we were greeted kindly and had a great tasting experience with our pourer. At the end, it turned out that it was Robert, one of the Brengman Brothers. We had no clue, and he was very down to earth and inviting. The wines are terrific and (as another reviewer noted) they are not for the typical 1.75 Liter bottle wine drinkers. I feel as if the value (taste and quality divided by cost) is extremely good. They have oyster socials and dinner pairings often, which just enhance the experience. Beautiful facility. One of our new favorites for the area.

We arrived for our first visit on March 22, 2017 and they hadnt opened for season but one of the owners invited us in and spent an hour with us personally. We tasted exceptinal wines and even a unique vermouth! Beautiful vineyard and tasting room! Signed up for their membership program and received great deals on todays purchases and future ones. Looking forward to coming back in April and this fall for their special events.

Good wines but definitely more expensive than surrounding wineries. Even though we were the only group in the tasting room at the time, we felt our server did not seem interested in explaining the wines or history of the winery. Their food menu indicated that they could make espresso drinks but our server indicated that they did not have the supplies to make anything.

We enjoyed going to Brengman Brothers. The atmosphere is very nice inside the wine tasting room, and they have a nice porch area where you can sit and enjoy a glass of wine while overlooking their vineyards. The owner is very nice and very knowledgeable about his crop, and the wines were quite tasty, as well. The kind that we really liked was a little bit too expensive for us, so we opted out of buying it, but it was a nice time overall.

If youre into boxed wines, Barefoot, and wine tasting just to get drunk this place is not for you. If youre interested in getting to know fine wines and the science behind how it is made, you will love this place. About 2 hours into sampling the man serving us actually revealed that he was one of the Brenghmen brothers himself (Robert). This guy was extremely passionate about his business and had so much interesting information to share about wine making. This winery is less tourist/commercial based and has more of a boutique atmosphere. Because of this I was a little intimidated at first but I kept an open mind throughout the experience and really enjoyed it.

Very rude and impersonal staff. There are too many wonderful wineries in the area to waste time on a location that does not provide exceptional service. If you are in any sort of group (girls weekend away with 4 total) the servers seem rushed and the staff seems annoyed by your presence.

Terrible, Terrible, Terrible!!! We had friends from out of town visiting and we wanted to show them some of the awesome wineries on the west side. This place was one of the few that we had never been to. We looked up their hours on-line and saw that they were open until 7pm so we decided to give them a try. We arrived shortly after 6pm, and had just turned off our vehicle and were getting out of our car, when we were promptly met by someone from inside. He first asked if we were members, which replied that we were not. Then he proceeded to tell us that they were closing early because business had been slow. Seriously?!!! They had 45 minutes left on their day, the sign said open, but yet, they were closing?! We were totally pissed off, and in my opinion, what a terrible place. Who does that?! I will NEVER, set foot in this place or recommend it to anyone. Anyone who is that rude does not deserve to be successful!.

A really lovely experience. One, the wine is great (especially, the 2016 pinot noir). Its rare that these wineries to reds well and rhis place has several ones. Also, our server (who also had one hell of mustache, was very on knowledgable and nice. This was a very relaxed experience compared to some of the stuffier places on the peninsula.

After 50 years of searching for world-class wines I could afford, I found Brengman Brothers. Carefully tended vines, perfect terroir, and hand-crafted harvesting, fermentation and aging produce wines that can compete with any in the world, yet the average person can afford.

Pretty to look at. Wines were ok, but very expensive wine tasting. Wine flights are $5 for 3 pours of their cheap wines. $10 for 4 pours of their mid grade. $15 for 4 pours of their premium wines. I took another star off because of service, many people and only one person behind the counter.

We stopped here on our wine tour for my bachelorette party and the older man who greeted/served us was extremely rude and harassed our two designated drivers. Their below below par wine was hardly worth the stop. My advise would be to pass this place by and save your time for the many other fun wineries in the area.

We had my daughter and fiancé visiting and they wanted to taste area wines in preparation for their wedding. Did a google search to find the Brengman Brothers and it listed them as open from 11am-5pm. After visiting a couple others wineries we decided to give them a try. When we got there the door was locked, but someone stepped out of a side door and asked us if we needed help. He very rudely informed us that tasting was by appointment only and asked us where we were from. The said in a very insulting tone that we were in Northern Michigan in January, like we were some sort of idiots for looking for wine in January for a wedding. Then he asked us if we had looked at their web page, again in a tone like only a fool would visit a winery without checking their web page first. He had the gall to ask us if we were going to buy any wine. NOT FROM YOU. I can only assume their wines are as sour as their attitude.

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!! I was part of a party with 11 people, 2 of them sober drivers. Upon entering we were confronted by an older man and questioned about our rides, sober driver, and felt very unwelcomed. Another large group of about 9 came in after us and were welcomed warmly and served by this man in a completely different manner.I would suggest passing this place by unless you prefer snobby and judgemental service. Many other more fun wineries in the area.

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!!! The older man that greeted us was extremely rude to our group of 20-30 year olds. Being responsible people, we had two of our mothers with us to be designated drivers so we were not drinking and driving. He interrogated our designated drivers, acting like they were not being truthful saying that they were not drinking. He did not want to deal with us and told the younger man working to wait on us while he was also waiting on another small group. When an older group of individuals walked in they were not interrogated and were treated much differently than us. Every other winery we went to treated us with respect, do not waste your time with winery and this extremely rude man that did not want us there.

I was very unimpressed with this place. We have gone on the Toast to the Seasons wine tour for a few years now and upon arriving here we were given our taste of wine with our food pairing. We continued to the counter to get our 3 to 5 complementary pours which was part of the fee when purchasing a ticket. He stated that we were allowed two complementary tastes so each of us girls ordered one taste off their menu. Aftarwards he said that will be $9.00. When asking why we had to pay he said that we can only pick from two wines for our complementary pours. He never clarified as we ordered and didnt even care to hear our side just said thats the rules to the tour; no other place had those rules. Rude staff, horrible service, and expensive wine that is mediocre. Never coming back.

Seriously underwhelmed by this place. We start looking at the menu to start a tasting and he just pours us a glass of the one they are pushing at the moment. Wouldnt be as big of a deal if it wasnt $5 for 3 tastes. He didnt even say hello just pushed the first thing in us. Im used to better attitude from the worst of the commercial wineries in Napa. This kid seemed annoyed at our existence. No conversation about the wine or anything. Just pour and tell me how many bottles you want to buy! Clearly this is a popular local place but the wines are seriously overpriced and Id rather spend my money on someone who appreciates my business.
