Taos Pueblo is very historic. This is a pic of their destroyed church by the US Government quite a few years ago. Quite sad to think of what the Army did to these folks.
Amazing. I am glad you are thriving!
Majestic scenery! Visiting the area, has a wonderful feel to it. Soul enlightening.
What a wonderful place to come to see how the native people live.
Well worth the price of admission. Plan on several hours to thoroughly explore the Pueblo.
Have to give it a five-star its the public wher my family comes from
We visited Taos Pueblo during a trip to Taos and the Ski Valley in summer 2018. This UNESCO World heritage site and U.S. National Monument, was a definite highlight of our trip. The guided tour was very interesting and informative, and after it is completed, one is free to wander around and continue the visit at ones own pace, and to try the various foods that are made there, and to check out the arts and crafts. Something that impressed me was that in the old adobe Catholic church that resides in the town, the Saints are dressed in different colors that represent each season of the year. This tradition was one of the ways that many years ago allowed the native Americans to accept and merge their own beliefs in the natural world with the imposed Catholic religion brought by the Conquistadores.
Nice but way too pricey to get in. Adults $18
I live here. So yeah, I give it 5 stars n 5 thumbs up
Was a great trip
Ill fill this out later
