Loved it! Fun, family friendly and very well maintained.

An amazing place to spend the day. Not far from Tallahassee. The lake is very pretty and there are two decks for fishing or just relaxing. The lake is surrounded by trails which can be hiked in couple of hours. As fir the facility there is a restroom and a sitting area. There is a $3 fee to enter the park which can be wrapped in an envelope and dropped in a drop box near the entrance. Bring your food and water, because theres no vending machine inside the property.

Small park with a great covered picnic shelter for a larger event. Parking is close to that. A short walk along the lake on a boardwalk is scenic but can be buggy.

Nice and clean. The pavilion is nice and big. There is a small fishing pier which is cute. A very small hike which is perfect if you have small kids.

Beautiful park. Short boardwalk along the water. Small fishing pier. Nice bathrooms, clean with soap and hand towels. Huge pavilion and grill area that can be reserved. There is a trail, but we didnt venture - too hot, wet and too many mosquitos!!!!

This park is the best park in the state of Florida. Great fishing and beautiful bluffs along the gorgeous banks of Lake Talquin. Not to mention the 1.1 mile trail that wonders through the pristine woods bordering awesome ravines with the lake as a background. Dont miss it.

I love the park, beautiful place! I do wish it was possible to Camp there though. They also have hammock Hooks and I have a hammock but my hammock did not fit the length of the poles where the hooks were located. Also a great place to fish.

You cant really go wrong with a state park. Its green. Its beautiful. Nature at its best. Its all very peaceful and serene... until a bug flies in your ear.

A quiet, peaceful park with great fishing and hiking opportunities. There is a boardwalk on the edge of the lake that provides casting access to the historic channel of the Ochlockonee River. Plenty of fish hang out in that drop off to the old river. Explore bluffs, ravines and woods along the parks trail. An award-winning pavilion provides a great place for an event or picnic.

Actually never been inside the park just used boat ramp next to it. Nice ramp. There are a couple nice docks to fish from in the park though. In a pretty decent area to fish as well.

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful! Its not a long path that walks around the lake, but it is so very gorgeous. We had a fun time walking around it last weekend. Would like to go back and have a picnic one day. Very peaceful and relaxing.

Talquin State Park is very underutilized. That is a shame since its in fact quite nice. The hiking trail is only a little more than a mile but it is picturesque and travels through some nice ravine terrain. This park also offers a long fishing pier that is built just above the waterline. In addition the park has a large picnic pavilion, a BBQ pavilion, a dock and bathrooms. If you wanted to host a family and friends BBQ chances are you would not have to share this park with many other people if anybody at all.
