A nice new park, it has a half wooded, half savanna feel that I find to be fairly unique in the area. Flatter than other local parks owing to its location in the St. Marks River flood plain, the wide trail, sandy in places, meanders through the park and has been a delightful find for myself in the last couple of months. Worth a visit for locals and visitors alike.

6/22/2020 - TAKE BUG SPRAY. Swarms of mosquitos tried to carry us away. We walked for about 5 minutes before deciding it wasnt going to work and we left. (Im sure its seasonal. )We walked here a couple of months ago and it was much more pleasant: mild temps, no bugs. The trails are mostly flat and wide with no major elevation changes, maintained with mowers. Theres a good mix of shade and sun. Sunscreen may be necessary.

We come here quite often during the day and this was our first time to visit at night. It was really pretty at night and there were much more people from families to individuals than expected! Such a pleasant surprise

I take my dog Bella down to this park and the trails are awesome. Honestly, my dog Bella loves it out there as well. It is safe enough that I let her off her leash and she stays where she can see me. You are supposed to observe a leash law but yeah I use it when it is absolutely necessary. I know breaking the law, yes I am guilty, but arent we all guilty of something? Anyway, lovely nature paths that I believe make up at least 5 - 8 miles all put together. Make sure to take you some water and a bowl for your dog, it gets hot. That Florida sunshine, although beautiful, will get to you quicker than you realize. Sunscreen as well folks, and while your at it some bug spray. Peppermint oil works wonders and I believe better than the best bug spray on the market. Peace be with you all!

Enjoyed it for the most part. Heads up though, there are a lot of ticks, and the trails dont always connect.

This property was recently acquired by the County. It has roughly three parts. Currently one part has a set of multiuse trails on it.The property was likely previously used for farming, ranching or timber production. Most of the trails were access roads for whatever activity was going on there. Its a nice property. Its pretty flat and sandy. There are some planted pines but it is mostly meadows with high grass. Lower areas have live oak trees and other types of oaks as well. There are also swampy areas with standing pools of water. Cypress and palmettos are dominant in those places.

Nice fresh new hiking location! The trail map isnt as accurate as it could be, but thats to be expected with a new area. Definitely keep a sharp eye out for ticks and drink water! Happy trails!

Nice clean park. Big well maintained paths. Kinda wet now but always a way to get by the big puddles.

Very nice, clean, a very large porta- potty able to accommodate a person in wheelchair. I dont have a horse but seems like the perfect place for a stroll through the forest. And there is plenty of clean cleared space to park your trailers and vehicles. Oh! Park benches with canopy, and garbage cans for waste. Their are no bar-b-q grills. But plenty of space to set up your own if allowed! I wonder if you are allowed to pitch a tent or camp overnight.

Nice Greenway with about 3-4 miles of equestrian trails. Some rocky areas on the trail near the railroad tracks and wet areas that get boggy with rains. Will be buggy in warmer weather, but centurion oaks, Florida Scrub palms, Porta potty, and parking for about 6-8 horse trailers.

Nice trail head. Could use better markings, but it is small enough that cosequences of wrong turn are small. Lovely setting and not heavily used.

This is a nice nature trail, mostly through pine flatwoods. This area can be pretty wet at times, so be aware of what weather conditions have been like. Theres a nice, but limited, parking area. Theres a large area for parking horse trailers, but its marked as exclusively for that (ie cars will be towed).
