Great uh job there with that reopening. I struggle to imagine that you opened without meeting the CDC guidelines. Yet you did. DeSantis, keep doing whatever it is that you do. Seems to be working great. Please dont leave your state. In fact this might be a great time for you to form your own country. Please please please form your own country.

Best part of this was the museum. Lots of history to read about and nice and clean facility. Spent around an hour here since we just stopped by on a Sunday when they have restricted hours. There are no clear signs to park but right across on the US 27 is a small parking lot to park for free.

I liked both old and new capitol building. You can learn a lot of history in the old capitol and in the new one if you go up to the 22nd floor you can see the whole view of the city. Everything is free so why not

Great place to visit! Although it is called old, it never gets old. Since legislators get together at this location, it is popular for protests and rallies. Go see the historic museum if you have not done so already. Well worth your time! You can take some good photos also while at it.

I enjoyed my visit to the old and new capitol buildings. The staff at the old capitol building was very helpful. I found that my great, grand uncle served in the Florida House and Senate. He had to take a stage coach from Lake City, Florida (formerly called Alligator). I went to the top of the new building and looked out on the city.

Great spot in Tallahassee. Must see for tourists and locals. As others have said, check out the 22nd floor, and the old capitol building. In comparison to other State Capitols, it is a little lackluster. I have been to about 15 state Capitol buildings, and Floridas is unique, but not terribly exciting. If they wanted to build a skyscraper for the Capitol to show how friendly is FL is to businesses, then its a sad case of irony. But it is cool that you can be in the thick of it all. The governors office is right on the bottom floor, and there are offices and meeting halls all around. If youre here and have time, go down the street to the FL History Museum, it will be well worth it.

Ahhh Florida State Capitol. What a place! You should see our Capitol Building! It looks like a Giant Donger. Perfectly shaped for the D-Heads that actually run Florida. DONT STAY HERE! ITS A TRAP! A PLACE WITH THE HIGHEST COST OF LIVING AND THE LOWEST MEDIAN PAY IN THE ENTIRE UNITED STATES. Unless youre a Masters Degree holding professional who makes at least 60k annually. Then you get to live in Poverty here.

I used the bathroom on almost every floor that is accessible to the public.Yes... they were all spotless. Great bathrooms.History stuff bores me so I just focused on the golden water fountains, nice bathrooms, and art. Very nice, great temperature too. Extremely clean building. No webs, fingerprints, dirt smudges, etc.

If you do decide to come to Florida by all means avoid Pasco county. I was the victim of a violent home invasion & when I called sherrif Naccos deputies my family & I were verbally threatened by his swat team members not because we were mistaken for the bad guys but because the bad guy whom I was the one who actually chased him down & who had been jailed 14 times in the past lied & said I had drugs in my home. Without a warrant or any probable cause they turned my home upside down & treated my family as if we were criminals. Which we are not. One of us was a teacher for 30yrs another a mayoral candidate & another mentally handicapped. If you value your safety please stay away from Pasco county. Other than that Florida has unmatched beauty, friendly folks & more fun activities than you could ever experience in just one life time. Thats why I call the nature coast home now & forever.

This is where hopes and dreams go to die. Would avoid like the plague, which, if you were to catch, youd better have private health insurance to take care of it, because you wont be expecting any of your tax dollars to be used for the benefit of Floridas residents anytime soon. Unless youre a corporation. Because corporations are people. And they matter—you dont.

Compared to other state capitol buildings, the Florida State Capitol is very mediocre. The older building is nice, but the newer one smacks of bland 70s architecture and is often given somewhat unflattering nicknames due to its shape. Not a great spot to visit.

I first had a tour of the old capitol building to understand how we got the new building. Great history of improvement. You get to do u r own tour of it. I guess the high light of it was going to the Observatory on the 22nd floor.Bathrooms were clean.Parking was not so easy to find, since I needed clearance on my car to be over 7ft. If parking on the street. Look for the color codes. They have 1, 2, 4 hrs limit on them
