Love this area. The only thing I would say is it needs some shade where the kids play. It was literally so hot my child played for maybe five minutes and was ready to go.

Super cool jungle gym. Fun equipment thats different from the norm, for the most part. The astroturf, though, you walk three steps across it and touch something - anything, including the concrete wall! - and get zapped due to static electricity. Ouch.

This is a beautiful, well maintained park-but it needs some kind of shade. The grass is plastic, so in the blazing sun, it feels like death. We had to leave our shoes on or risk third degree burns. Other than that its lovely.

Excellent place.

This place is great! I know its for little kids but I swear, college students go to it more than they do. It is so much fun to scooter around in that area. Or actually monkey around in the park. Im a bit sad to see them building pretty close to there. Theres likely going to be more traffic to get to there and all the parking spaces will be taken by guests visiting it because in that area, the contractors and city officials do not like to add free parking for the tenants and their guests. If this is another Stadium Centre then parking at the park will be a lot closer than parking near the tracks.

Would give 5 stars but because there was ZERO things to shade the toys or to just provide shade in general, I have to give 4. The park itself was very clean and nice. My kids loved the toys. It was just way too hot and there was nowhere to sit to get out of the sun for a few minutes, so we wound up leaving after just 10 minutes. Would love to go back on a day where its overcast.

I loved the idea of the park next to the water sprayer that the kids can get wet with. There is no shade and the landscaping was not kept. It was dirty and unsanitary in the water play area. the play ground was nice but not shade...THIS IS NOT THE CASCADES FOUNTAIN TOTALLY SEAPRATE PLACE.

It has a good but small splash pad and a kids park with beautiful green artificial turf. Good for a family visit with kids.

Lil man had a blast at this place. we wanted to stop and let him have some fun for a bit before heading home and this was a perfect spot.

Okay dont get me wrong I like the place but if its sunny have fun useing anything every thing gets very warm because there are not any trees. But its very fun running around with out shoes the place is so placid you have a nice breaze blowing in your face and a steady white noise of cars wheering by not loud but a calm noise.

Even though the trail is still in construction, it is an incredibly bold and important step for the city of Tallahassee. The Cascades project is one of the newest additions to the city, and they are pushing the city in the right direction. Beautifully​ paved and bricked wide pathways, new roads with great traffic management, and a little something for everyone. The trail spans a couple miles from downtown Tallahassee, and soon to be out towards Lake Bradford road. Along the way are nice stops by all saints neighborhood, railroad square, FAMU, and of course Cascades park. There are parks asking railroad square, and decent storm-water ponds along the route.

Amazingnif you have lil children the trails they have created were exceptionally well thought out and made for a family activity time in mind

Beautiful urban park.

The City of Tallahassee designed a super park here hours of fun in the sun. The park features a massive climbing structure, swings, bowl spinners, and one rotating structure you have to try yourself. Down the path a skip hop and a jump is a really cool water feature. Bike need repairing thats here to they installed a bike repair station with tools and a pump.Awesome place to take the kids in Tallahassee.

Me and the children just love this trail. Its a trail we can walk anytime. We prefer the night time better. The colorful lights are nice to see and make great backgrounds for pictures.

Connecting East with West, this trail has the best to show commuting Tallahassee.

Great playground with unusual equipment. Artificial turf with a very springy base makes it great for kids - lots of cushion for falls and no sand or mulch to displace or get in shoes. Lots of street parking available. The biggest downside of this park is that there is no bathroom. :(

My kids love this little area. They get to climb and play with their shoes off. Its also nice because I can sit back and relax on the great round swing.
