Fun park parts of it are shutdown for Covid19 but you can still go on walks. Great place to get outside if you need to get out of the house.

Lafayette is peaceful. Its a great place to do calisthenics, yoga, and play Pokemon Go. There is a small take a book, leave a book library at the community art center. ️

Best park in Tallahassee, is hidden away off a one way street but it really has everything, shaded play ground, walking trails, basketball, basketball, and tennis, and a community center that has a lot of interesting classes.

Such a nice local park. My daughter and granddaughter enjoy the trails and fitness items along the walk. There is also pretty nature and birds in the trees.

Its okay. The squirrels were cute! Small but at least its a place to get into nature. Beautiful huge magnolia!

Now I really love this park! Great childrens playground, trails, tennis court, & baseball field. The playground is far enough from the road (& downhill) that Im more at ease compared to other parks. It can get crowded depending the time of day because there is a daycare/school next door. My kids love having other kids to play with so it just depends what you want that day. Again its not always crowded, so just be mindful of the school days & times.

The tennis courts are nice. There are 2.the playground is for all ages. There are 2 of those also. They have a cemented area for basketball which is nice. They have a softball field but the clay is hard. Its actually pretty nice though. The outfield has very plush grass. Good for Frisbee, corn hole, whatever you like to do in the grass.

This is a great little park for running a trail in the middle of town. Its shaded with features like wooden foot bridges and exercise stations. The park is well maintained as they add more clay and sand to keep the trail in tact. There are restroom facilities by the childrens playground and sports complex.

The park is awesome! There is a little bit of everything for all types of people. The grounds are always well kept and free from debris. We love taking the dogs here for walks.

A quaint park tucked away in midtown that features walking paths, a mid-sized park, and a community center. It is nice to come down here and escape for a bit by taking a walk around the park. There are some huge trees, busy squirrels, and pretty birds around the park.

Beautiful covered park with a nice walking/exercise trail. The arts center is located in the park and offers a bunch of arts classes.

Love bringing my kids here to fish on the weekend. Very clean and very beautiful.

Good thinking spot

There are two sets of playground equipment. One for 2-3 year olds and one for 4-6 year olds. The park is pretty and arboreal but the shade for the playground is artificial and inadequate.

Neat place, good tree cover, exercise stations along jogging trail, little creek I think, community center with restrooms and water fountain nearby, sports fields and playground around the corner. My and my girlfriends favorite park in Tallahassee, go there often to hammock

Great place for a short walk (.08 miles around)

Very nice old park in Midtown with lots of trees, azaleas, and room to run around.There is a stream that runs through it and walking/running trails as well. It is a short walk from central Midtown. You can park inside or curbside for easy access.The local neighborhood sets it off for Halloween as well.

Beautiful park, pretty active for a Sunday. Some playground equipment for the lil ones, looked like some trails too. That or there were just people wandering around in the trees.

We miss Lafayette park! It was our favorite when we lived in Tallahassee! The kids loves the playground and freedom it allowed, and I loved the shade. There was almost always somewhere I could sit, be in shade, and still see all or most of the playground

Grouper with collard greens and grits is not a good idea. Bangers and mash was great!

Great little city park in the middle of midtown. Classic live oaks with tons of shade, some hills and nice quiet place. Plus the local arts and crafts place, a kids play area and a baseball field.

I love this park. Its never crowded, theres a big playground for kids ages 2+, tennis court, baseball field, basketball area and a covered area with picnic tables. There is also a community center and nature walks Located in a great area of town.

This is a great place to take arts and crafts classes! They offer such a variety, with really good instructors. Conveniently located in Midtown.

Theres no place in or around Tallahassee that you could go for Halloween that is any better than Beard Street. Props to all the residents that put together such an amazing Street full of fun Halloween adventures at every trick or treat spot.

Great little covered play area for dis with water misters for quick cooling. Fitness trail for hiking or getting a workout. Baseball field is nice along with great tennis courts

Little out of the way but once we found it the kids LOVED playing on the play ground. Also looked like some great trails but we didnt get to test them. We will be back though.

My wife and I enjoy jogging in the park and using the exercise stations. Its way more enjoyable than the gym. Also, the trees keep the whole park shaded so its a comfortable temperature even on hot days.There are also a couple of tennis courts, a playground, a baseball field, a basketball hoop, and a community center with indoor courts and bathrooms -- although the community center is not always open.This a major highlight of living midtown, IMHO.The only downside is that there are no lights at the park at night and the walking/jogging trail (very) occasionally has tripping hazards (which are usually removed or covered in a matter of days).

This is easily my favorite Tallahassee park. Huge, mature trees, walking trails, exercise equipment, and a renovated playground all add up to a phenomenal experience for people of any age.

Beautiful and well kept up. There was even a friendly neighborhood cat on the playground saying hello to the kids.
