4.8 stars. Conveniently located across from the Rec Center and its indoor and outdoor pools, this is one of Sterling’s newest parks. The landscaping, lawns, playground equipment, tennis courts, basketball hoops, adult outdoor exercise equipment, pavilion and other amenities make this an excellent choice for picnics and general leisure. Because it is a younger park, the shade trees here are still quite small compared to the older parks but that is one of the only drawbacks. It is hard to imagine the north side of Sterling without this recreational asset.
