Great place to trail ride, or hike. Nice big park for picnics, exploring, and toys to play on for the littler ones, or the big ones. Yes..I do enjoy having a game of chase around the toys even in my wheelchair the little ones dont care they just want a game of chase. The park is big but surrounded by lots of climbing rocks, if you have little ones, or inexperienced dare devils... hands on, and eyes peeled until you are familiar with the safer areas!

Nice grass and wilderness and play structures with swings. Not the best for littles because theres a big tempting hill down to the street and also some of the wilderness spots tend to be camped in, etc. Still grateful to have this park in our neighborhood! Walk on the path and play often. Great spot to picnic or read a book.

Stopped in for a short time while on business. Lots of parking, but you have to pay. Grounds very well kept and walkways are easy. Walk to falls is simple and there are stairs up and down both sides and a bridge. So access is easy for anyone. Only a short two minute walk from the parking lot. Great scenery and the falls are impressive for one so close to a city. Definitely recommend visiting!!

Weve driven bye many times, and this time we stopped and ate at one of the tables. The park was nice and clean, and friendly. I was unsure how safe the area would be but we played on the swings and jungle jim even visited with a stranger. It is a nice place to spend your time. Chances are well go back. My boys and I might even BBQ on one of the grills next time. The park could use more trash cans. The one there was almost full. I must say it seemed like a small hidden oasis hiding on the side of that hill

Living close to this park, I would love to give it a great rating. However from the needles and dirty condoms to the growing homeless population in the hills that bring lots of trash and fires in the summer, it is hard to enjoy this park like I once did. This park seems to have a hard time keeping the grass alive and mowed.

I like how big it is but I think it would be better if a bigger play ground was added with how much open space there is even if it is just a little bigger. The play ground is old but very stable but an new one that is bigger could bring more people in or even add more different stuff.

Close into several neighborhoods, Hillyard, Nevada-Lidgerwood, Millwood, which is nice. Not the most beautiful environment, but plenty of good views. Also lots of trails for hiking, running, biking etc. Pay attention though lots of side trails, so keep your head up. Plenty of high tension wires and cell, and radio towers, which detract from the views. They do however have lots of access roads so you can go for a long way up in the hills. Overall worth it for the convince.

(Regarding Minnehaha trails towards the beacon hill area) Theres alot of trash and graffiti around the lower areas, but once you get past that its actually quite pretty! Good views of the Spokane area. Not terribly busy if you go earlier in the day, some mountain bikers and hikers. The park itself is green and lush, never seems crowded. Did find questionable trash around, like plastic gloves and possible needles.

We go out this park at least twice a month and sometimes more. I do wish they had a dog park or splash pad, but the hiking is great! We just got back from going to the top of Beacon Hill. On the top you can see all of Spokane. NOTE: watch for bikes. They share the area with those summiting.

My brother and I were out this Sunday evening for a walk, and we like to visit our nearest city park. This place isnt a draw for the play structure; its a great place to do some bouldering. :) We went near the golf course and enjoyed scaling an outcropping until there was some drizzle from the sky. We cut a trail for home shortly thereafter; we always have fun getting closer to nature at this great piece of Beacon Hill.

Nice park with baseball diamonds and horseshoe pits. Grills for Bbqing and lots of room for the kids to run around and play on the playground. I have gone to this park since I was a child. It is a great little park with fields, and very easy hiking. Sadly however people have destroyed the bathrooms and homeless set camps up in the hiking area. That does not make me feel safe taking my children up there not knowing what we might run into. I hope the park staff are doing what they can.

We were trying to find ghosts or some sort of apparition at night because of the haunted or so-called haunted orphanage however we just decided to go on a hike up the hill and ended up finding us a baby who had no problems leaving his mother and was happy as hell to come home with us and as happy as hell where he is now and he is the most loving little man you have ever met.

Ive heard thru friends that this park is haunted so me and my wife went and checked it out and it was really creepy the church in the middle of the park was exceptionally creepy especially at nite we went around 3am you know the rule of 3 so we pulled out the EVP app and started to ask questions and had got some real responses and it was crazy like I never believed people when they said its haunted and sure enough Im a believer now so if youve got the courage to do be there and youre into the supernatural definitely a place to put on your bucket list !!!
