A beautiful place to escape from the every day stresses. Come see a wonder of man with a suspension bridge over the roaring Spokane River. Stop on the bridge for great photo opportunities. Plus the Bowl and Pitcher rock formations. Walking, hiking, horseback riding, camping, biking all can be done here. The major trail is pretty friendly for most levels of fitness, including children. Or wonder down a little path or two to discover breathtaking views up top or down to the river, maybe dip in your toes;)
My wife and I were Geocaching and had fun. We were discussing how much we had noticed the water levels had dropped. In 20 years this park wont look the same if something isnt done
The scenery is fantastic and a great place for hiking there are so many trails. I just did my engagement photos there.
There are so many secret areas to find and have fun! If youre not in the water, you can fond shade close by on hot days. Its a great place to bring pets and children to explore!
Very beautiful place. Benches to sit on. Trails to walk/jog/bike. A must see place.
It was most beautiful here. Loved it.
Spectacular views, great trails. Very clean.
I hope they keep preserving this place!!
Cool place but wow are the camping fees steep! You can get a hotel room for that
Beautiful and easy ride or hike in. Really cool spot.
Really enjoyed it. Very beautiful.
A beautiful and pictures place for a fun picnic or hiking or to swim. The water is clean and clear.
We walked the trails in the area over the summer and enjoyed it very much. Camping is nearby, you can trailer your horses nearby as well. Its dog friendly, and when we were there everybody was respectful, picked up after their dogs, and most were on leashes. If you have a discovery pass entry is free. Lots of trails, and is nice for someone who is a novice hiker or not in great shape.
Beautiful! The trails were a little rougher than I expected and many spots were not stroller-friendly but it was a great way to spend the afternoon.
Always beautiful! No matter the time of year!
Beautiful place to visit. Dont forget your day pass!
Great place to walk, run,bike!!
Spring runoff and the water is high. So nice to be out again!
Beautiful, clean, and peaceful! So sad it costs $10 to do it now.
The Bowl and Pitcher is somewhere I have been going to every since I was a little girl. It is a place that doesnt disappoint. There is campfire locations and camping. Plenty of tables to enjoy your picnic. And great hiking areas. The bridge goes directly across the river so that in itself has always been an attraction.Whenever you go I dont think high heels is the thing to wear. I highly recommend good walking shoes. Please keep your dog on a leash and clean up after them. Keep our precious parks clean.Enjoy!
The serenity of peace and quiet. Standing on the bridge, the water rushing underneath. An amazing feeling. Putting your feet in the water down by the beach. In expensive. Great adventure for the whole family!
I love it here. It is very popular with families and people with dogs. There are a lot of trails and options for walking around. Fairly easy walking once you are past the incline and steps and the beginning. You can go down by the river and there are picnic tables and toilets.
Truly Amazing
This is an absolutely beautifully kept park. Its a great place to go hiking!
Bowl & Pitcher is a fun place to go hiking, especially crossing the Swinging Bridge. Definitely recommended.

Very beautiful walk.
Amazing place with nice views, perfect for an afternoon hike and stuff
Close to town, beautiful views, well-groomed paths and lots of them. Busy sometimes near the bridge but once hiking is not bad at all
This is a very interesting and beautiful area of the Spokane River. Definitely worth your time.
Beautiful park. Excellent hiking and biking as well as camping. Fun for the whole family.
Been coming here most of my life, it is a great place to hike/bike/jog and hangout with friends/family.
Beautiful trails to hike, and awesome views of the river.... Love this place!
This is an absolutely beautiful place to visit. I visited in May, a friend of mine took me out here, and I enjoyed it so much that I went back the next day!! This was a wonderful experience. Lots of different directions to walk in. Lots of hidden gems. Absolutely breathtaking.
Nice hiking trails, picnic areas under roofs, clean, check in at Ranger station
Beautiful nature area, great for hiking, walking, biking. Family friendly
Beautiful views, cool bridge, and nice hike
Such a beautiful area to just hike around in. They have camping and r.v spots as well. All of this is only 15 minutes or so out of downtown Spokane. Dont forget to buy your discover pass, that is the main funding source for our state parks. A discover pass is only 30 dollars for a year. If you dont have one and get caught I believe the fine is over 90 dollars, dont blame the park rangers if you get one lol. The river is very beautiful this time of year
The most beautiful place Ive seen so far in my short 23 years of life
Very nice beginner trails and the views are spectacular.
Love this park! So many great things to do here!

Great place to get out and explore
First time there and I have lived right by there. Should have gone along time ago. Great place to unwind.
Its wonderfully maintained, and of course a wonderful location. Good weather today too
$10 Tuesday pizzas. Wow! Really good!!!
Beautiful park with a great trail and even better views.
This is my favorite hiking location in Spokane and Ive yet to even scratch the surface of all the trails here!
Very nice and quiet place Good for getting some relaxing
Beautiful River view and hiking/biking here
Great! Nice and green and clean
The Bowl and Pitcher as seen from the suspension bridge are the centerpieces of Riverside State Park. If that is all you are able to see of RSP when you come to Spokane, dont miss it. But, if you have a bit more time, cross the bridge and walk downstream along the river trail to the bench overlooking Devils Toenail. It gives a great view of the Spokane River and a nice sample of our wilderness in the city. Better yet, take a mountain bike and see the Oark from one end to the other!
Absolutely beautiful! I recommend going in the morning for that extra spark of beauty, plus theres less people on the trail.
Beautiful views
Great hiking right in the middle of Spokane
Easy casual hike with river views and no significant elevation changes.
Beautiful place to enjoy nature
Beautifully kept picnic areas and lots of biking and hiking trails

Great place to take the kiddos for a walk

Beware of $100 ticket and lack of signage for a 5 minute walk. Pathetic recreational thiefs
Outstanding views
