Great park, horrible maintenance. Crabgrass, dandelions, and host of other weeds everywhere. One of the baby swings is broken. Granted the neighborhood is a bit iffy but that doesnt mean letting this public park go. People in the neighborhood deserve better. The slides and overall play stuff are still great. But one can tell this parks maintenance is an afterthought compared to, say, EdgeCliff or Mission

Love this place! A nice balanced combination of manicured park and unimproved woods with trails. A good semi-steep incline with lots of space for your kids or dog(s) to run free and play.

Not kept up since COVID stayed. Not enough staff to keep up with everything. The bathrooms are locked and there is NO parking. On two sides of the park are bolders to prevent people from parking and the other side is a street you cant park on. Kids still had fun but I dont think well do back until the equipment is fixed.

Peaceful and wide open spaces, until 3 guys came through on their motocross bikes and made as much noise as possible. Hard to enjoy fresh clean air when the fumes are coming through. I will try visiting again, it was a great experience overall.

I grew up just house away from this Park on Hartison.I can remember before the splash pad when there was a kiddie pool there.Once Upon a Time there were swings maybe someday they can put them back.I can remember the rocket ship toy that is no longer there.Man so many good moments I had at this park.I may not live bye this park anymore but I still recommend this park and I still frequently visit this park with my family and friends.Dont forget there is a big sledding hill in the back of the park.( Superfun )

Was a nice park in all, but there was alot of trash laying around the picnic table area.. even found a joint tube container... with the joint still in it. (Come-up for me tho) other than that, this park is nice with alot of grass area and well equipped with kid toys and a jungle gym along with a smaller water park. Plenty of water fountains and a good size restroom and last but not least, there are tennis and basketball courts on one side, and even a baseball field on the far backside by the parking lot.

Big big park! Nice playground, 2 baseball fields, splash pad, water fountain, gazebo, picnic tables, benches around the playground, parking lot. My only complaint is there were A LOT of little grass bugs like gnats or no-see-ems or something similar. This park could use a low grade pesticide, or maybe the grass is just kept WAY too long?

Very big park with a nice splash pad and playground equipment. Lots of nice trees for an ample amount of shade near playground equipment. There were benches around playground equipment in good shape as well as picnic tables. I was pleasantly surprised about how clean the park actually was beings the location. I wasnt brave enough to go into the restrooms as I never do in the Spokane parks. I dont even like to think about what all goes on in them because Im fairly confident a lot of times its not great things. I would recommend a company your kids if they have to use it. There were some trails that I havent yet explored but was very tempted. Saw others hiking and running them. It is also a location that many folks sled at during the winter but I havent ever been to these hills during the winter yet. The baseball fields are very nice and they have a parking lot near the one farthest away but still parking is very limited and when lot is full the street parking is only on one side. Nice large handicap parking spots in lot.

This is a great park with a huge field for soccer, baseball, basketball, splash pad, and 3 different play structures. Connects to the Ben Burr Trail which is a mile long and connects to another park. Its got a splash pad, bathrooms, three playgrounds, two baseball fields, tennis and basketball court. Wonderful giant hill you can go sledding on during snowfall in the winter and a nice small forest area that boarders two sides of the park where you can have a small hike and take follow short trails.

The sledding here is the best in town. Ive lived in Spokane from age 2 up to my current 40+ years. This is the best. Other places used to be out there, but they either were developed, renovated, restricted, or closed for some reason or another. Try others if you want, but come here for good sledding.
