Beautiful. Well-maintained shrubs that frame your view of the mountain. I take a picture of the mountain whenever its out and am quite fortunate to pass by it on my way to class. Really complements UWs architecture and Drumheller Fountain. The lawn is a great spot for lunch, as long as you dont mind vicious geese and their poop.

Its hard to miss. Super long lawn in the center that is well cared for. The old trees and plants on either side of the green grass makes me feel like Im walking in the country. Its a.wonderful feel.

Very nice place to visit on a bike ride around this area of Seattle, originally the site of a Worlds Fair, a square where UW Seattle students hang out in between classes and to eat from lunch trucks, and once a year the place for Japanese tourists and photographers to photograph the Cherry Blossoms with a view of Tacoma Fuji Mount Rainier.

Great views of Mt Rainier - UW owns the air rights so nothing will ever block the view.

Rainier Vista is a beautiful place with a view of Mt. Rainier and Husky Stadium at one end and Drumheller Fountain at the other. Looking forward to returning to it during the Dawg Dash.

Love this place for hanging out with friends or by myself. Especially when its bright n sunny. U should also visit the Sylvan groove thats LEFT to the Rainier Vista, and UW herb garden thats RIGHT to the Rainier Vista. They both r easy to miss out as they r hidden.....

Grassy and open thoroughfare with ample space for events, leisure, and sport. Part of the pathway is gravel, so if youre carrying a suitcase through, it might be a little tough. Great views of either direction, and well lit at night.

Beautiful view of Mt.Rainer when its clear. Lots of space to throw a frisbee.Be careful when walking, bikers also use the walkways to transition between trails/road and not looking where youre going is a quick way to get hit

Very nice place to lay around in the grass if youre waiting for the bus/train. The sunnier weekend days means more people but its a great spot. Decent WiFi signal for UW students.

This is a beautiful place to go and sit next to on a sunny day enjoying a mocha and soaking up the sun. There is also a huge lawn in front that you can just lay in and let the hours roll by.

Best view on campus on a clear day. You will walk down from Red Square toward the fountain to find Mt. Rainier staring back at you. It is a little known fact that UW actually owns the view of Mt. Rainier. No one is allowed to impede the view of the mountain from this location.
