It’s very convenient for people who lives in downtown area. Very small beach having 6ft apart circle in those circles you can sit safely during this coronavirus time. Near by small restaurants and super market is der at a walkable distance . Only thing is where-ever you go in a beach area particularly you will face a parking problem.. my husband couldn’t go into the water as der were small pieces of stone near the water area and beach area it’s hard to walk barefoot and also lifeguard were der for safety

Wow this is actually a pretty cool beach, especially if you have kids. There are a ton of lifeguards and a safety line. Great beach close to really cute shops.

This the most popular beach in our town. So since they already open to the public we didnt miss the chance to go there with my family. I really enjoyed every moment and we feel safe with their securities.

I’ve been here several times. It’s a fine beach, so fine, that people will ignore that there’s a global pandemic just to eke one last summer swim in. When there’s not a pandemic, I enjoy a lovely swim in the lake. There aren’t any lockers to keep your stuff, though. The last time I was there, I kept a watchful eye on my belongings and they were fine. Of course, I might have been lucky that time. It is rather small, so it can get crowded fast. Other than that, it is a nice, safe beach to have a good time.

It was a little busy when I came, but I was able to enjoy my time here. Watching the waves was both calming and inspiring. There is plenty to do and see: you can people watch, you can watch the cars on the bridge, you can smell the fresh pine tree foliage, eat lunch, get lunch from any of the surrounding restaurants and bring it here to enjoy, you can close your eyes and listen to the laughter, you can read a book, you can just relax on a bench or on the grass, and lots more! This place is an oasis from the hustle and bustle of downtown.

Small but lovely. Sandy beach, roped-off swimming area with life guard, grass to sit in. For Covid they had spray painted circles to encourage social distancing, which was much appreciated. Easy to put in a kayak or float.

Recently discovered this park at the foot of E. Madison and my toddler just loves it. We spent five hours, my child just playing at the playground and testing every equipment, from the big and small kids slides to the zipline. He also had a blast climbing the animal sculptures.Because we had already bought hot food, snacks, plus cold drinks from Red Apple Market (a few meters away from the park), we never had to leave, and it was playtime all the way.Its the perfect summer park for families of all ages!

A solid swimming beach, but minus a star for how crowded it gets here. Compared to Madrona Beach Park, there is less room to spread out. And the bathrooms? Stay away ladies, its not a pretty sight. Though the pro of this spot is that you are near restaurants. Grabbing a marg from Cactus after a swim? Dont mind if I do!

Great swimming/picnic park in Seattle. You can usually find street parking pretty close. In the summer, they usually place a dock in the water that you can swim to/ jump off. Dogs are NOT allowed to swim at public beaches in Seattle though :( However, I have brought my pup to join for picnics! There is a dock close also that is fun to sit on as well. There is a great view of Mount Rainier when it is sunny and a Red Apple supermarket close to pick up picnic snacks.

The onsite facilities were clean and nice. The beach despite being crowded still had plenty of room to put your stuff down and I had no doubts about leaving my phone and other items on the beach so I could swim.Once in the water it was clean and beyond the first 10 or so feet it was pretty clear of small children. Swimming was a very nice experience and the lifeguards were very pleasant.

One of the best places to swim in the city. Bus #11 stops right in front. Can get very crowded on the hottest days. The beach is basically self-segregated like this: Northside is composed of mostly gay men. The middle is mixed with people in their 20s and up (very few kids). The south end with the sand is composed mostly of families with children.

Now this is an oasis of charm in a sea of chaos especially during rush hour which is most of the day now in Seattle. The village has a number of excellent dining establishments and a good food store. The lake can be tranquilizing and the view of the Cascades is marvelous! And there are always some ducks & birds sitting on the beach!

Nicest in the mornings when boat waves are few - especially for swimming and kids. Then there is less algae churned up by waves. It is simply crazy that there is no way to rinse off outside after the bathrooms close. After work swimmers just have to suffer a potential swimmers itch. Also: the city should invest in solar hot water for these showers!Place is outrageously crowded on weekends.
