Beautiful staircase leading to a nice golf course and path that goes to the beach. Nice little spot to stop and take a short walk! Highly recommend visiting:)

One of the great staircases of the city. Great access to Lincoln park and Legion of Honor.

Was surprised to discover these steps to really no where. Brings you to a walking path adjacent to a golf course. Dont know whether you could walk the pathway taken by the golf carts. Didnt want to get in trouble or get hit by a stray golf ball.

A lovely place to visit

These are not hard to miss. They lead to a golf course and hiking trail. I do say these are nice looking tiles steps. It has a lot more design since it is wider than the other tiled steps in the city.

Hard to find but absolutely amazing in a slightly rundown neighborhood next to a schoolyard and behind a small local golf course. Keep on looking and you will smile...

I grew up there. Its beautiful. You can take pics. Check out the view. Rest. Excessive or continue the walk along the coast. Its a must see!

Delightful artistically tiled steps, but yes, be careful not to slip if the steps are moist. Its quite an extraordinary artwork, and a very special joy for those little ones who love to go up and down, and up and down again! Childrens playground nearby, and these steps lead to the beautiful Lincoln Park and world famous Lincoln Park golf course. Much to enjoy here. Maybe this is a stairway to Heaven?

The steps are a piece of art. Somebody did a great job. Beyond that theres not much to see. You can walk further past the golf course for about 15 minutes and reach the Legion of Honor Museum.

Very nice mosaic stairway. Locally supported and donated. Some tiles have donor names baked into them.

Although I represent city by the bay (415) district B-6 youll see me and wifey mostly on weekends running around SF. Lincoln Park Steps is a mural staircase that has all kind of use. I always challenge wifey and today I pretend to pass out just to get mouth to mouth resuscitation from her thats why Im to be married to a nurse.
