One of the best places to have nice and close views of the golden gate bridge and the bay, and also to enjoy the sunset while having a stroll in the park or the beach. It can be pretty windy though. There are plenty of parking spots (have to pay) along the road or at the end in the lot.

Nice place to get photos of the Golden Gate Bridge from afar. We parked our cars along the beach and had a walk. There are tables prepared by the beach for picnic. The weather wasnt nice on that day as it was very gloomy so all the photos that we shot didnt come out nice and bright.

One of my newly discovered spot from where I could rent a bicycle and go for cycling to the Golden Gate Bridge and around. This was the most beautiful cycle ride I ever had in my life so far. And crissy field was the beat spot to start and end the ride.

Beautiful area for a walk! Multiple terrains include dirt trails, sidewalk, grass and sand beaches. Walk, run, bike, even scooter where you can. Dogs with leashes allowed and there are off-leash areas, as well. Pay for parking here with coins. Will definitely recommend visiting again and again!

The improvements to the wildlife area are stunning. Lots of parking. Free million dollar views everywhere. Beach area, picnic tables, and lanes to separate walkers from cyclists. Please stay in your lane its safer.

This is one of few spots that I genuinely love in this city. Every time I arrive in taken aback by the sweeping green lawn, Bay and that famous red bridge. The view just doesnt grow old. Do yourself a favor and skip the parking hassle by enjoying a bike ride to take the generous views.

Bring a blanket to relax on the sands on Crissy Field Beach or the grassy parts hills. Great place to see north bay some of which includes the iconic Golden Gate Bridge, Angel Island, Alcatraz. You may be able to spot kayakers or even swimmers in the chilly ocean. Look behind, youll see the lovely Palace of Fine Arts and Twin Peaks from the far distance.

Beautiful weather the day we there, perfect for flying kites and lounging in the grass. There was an asphalt path for biking, etc. and an unpaved trail for electric scooters and bikes, closer to the beach. As expected, finding a parking space was difficult. We parked at 1014 Torney Ave. surface parking area which had a grassy area where you can picnic; then walked to the western field of Crissy Field. Couldnt find restrooms.

Amazing View from Crissy Field! Its not overly populated nice breeze. Great for a picnic. Sorry cant say same for the beach. If you arrive early you can find street parking. Only complaint I had was we couldnt find public restrooms. That why the 4/5

Nice huge open field, pets allowed, beach area, pier to walk out on to see Golden Gate Bridge close up and Alcatraz. You can walk bike or scoot. There is nice picnic areas with grills for a party. I was really impressed.

I think this was a great place! When there I saw the Trump 2020 parade. But what I mostly liked was the beach and watching crabs. I think that you would like to visit this place, if you wish!

If you want to walk the golden gate and okay with a decent walk this is your place! Free parking a few miles from the bridge itself and theres usually a bunch of people just hanging out! Also lots of cute doggos

Good place to hang out with the family, friends and you little four-leg buddy. If the weather is good, you can see Golden Gate Bridge clearly and the pier. The grass and sands are nice in the park. And it’s very dog friendly. You could see the people fishing and the kids playing on the beach. You could see the birds and some people have the jogging.

The transformation of the Presidio and Crissy field is nearing its final phase and it is a great destination. The second tunnel walkover is almost done and you can see the the final vision of what was proposed several years ago. A prime example of how San Francisco gets things done right, even if it takes longer than expected.

Just to let you know in summer is cold, windy and cloudy so I couldnt take the right golden gate picture but the walking in the beach, the sand and the view compensate it. Wonderful for picnics, family and pets.

Chrissy Field is my favorite place to take my little dog. My husband and I get a nice breath of fresh air while our doggie gets to run in and out of the water and play with others. Its such an incredible and breathtaking heaven on Earth.

Being outdoors next to the ocean and in full view of the Golden Gate Bridge make this park the perfect place to enjoy the vistas of San Francisco and also see some of its greatest landmarks, such as the Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco Bay, and Alcatraz Island.

Amazing place to walk and great views of the whole bay. One of the nicer beaches. It has fairly clear water. Wide walkway so you can not be too close to others.

Between 7am - 8am weekday mornings is the best time to take your dog for a walk!

Open field which was earlier an army airport, now gives an awesome view of the Golden Gate Bridge, Downtown and the Pacific Ocean. A good place to relax and enjoy the ocean breeze. It is also good for dogs to play in the field.

Very nice open area for sitting for long hours and spending tine with friends and family . Has a pretty good view of thd golden gate bridge as well as nearing beach and sea .

Love it you can crab here and fish off the dock and theres a store you can visit. If you walk about 1.5 miles you can get even closer to the bridge. You do have to pay for parking its 7 bucks for the whole day or buy it by minutes. There is bathrooms also which also a plus!

A definitely great place to enjoy and walk around. The green grass area, the beach, and of course the view of the famous golden gate bridge.The wind could be really strong and it can be quite cold bcs of the wind, so do come with layers of clothed to be able to enjoy spending time here. Bring some food to add the fun.

I love Crissy Field for all the gorgeous views of San Francisco. The bridge is ever so beautiful.Watch out for the parking signs in the lot.

This is the best park location in San Francisco. They have everything from jogging trails to open fields to fantastic views. It is a dog friendly area (check the specific rules on leashes). I bring my pup here often because it is a fantastic place to hang out.

Running spots don’t get much better than in San Fran....perfect running weather, people watching, unbelievable views, and a sweet ‘herb’ smell. Seriously I love running out here. Today’s jog turned into a 10 mile out and back. Took in all the sights along the way!

Beautiful view! Gorgeous when Sunny and amazing when fog cover the top of the bridge. The views get a 10. The facilities specially the bathrooms (porter potties) barely get a one!

Go for a long afternoon stroll along crissy fields beach you wont regret it ...just watching the tide come in and out. youll meet lots of friendly people here just like you enjoying themselves and take some amazing photos of the golden gate bridge. you can start your walk from fishermas wharf and if youre feeling tired you can rent a bike from one of the many bike vendors dotted along the route.

We enjoyed walking the beach and seeing the wind surfers. It was a Sunday afternoon and there were lots of interesting people out to watch and nice places to take pics with the bridge.

My grandson and I had a lovely picnic here. When we were walking back to our car, I saw a few gang members... one had rainbow-dyed hair and the numbers 6 and 9 tattooed on his forehead... but it was fine; I just began to talk to him about my favourite thrift shop... surprisingly he ran away...

Great views and a wonderful walking track make Crissy Field a must stop on any San Francisco visit. Plenty of free parking around and a busy cafe/souvenir store are located along the walk and in close proximity to a beach. Recommended highly for anyone visiting San Fran or looking for a nice walk along a scenic route.

I was expecting something slightly different than what I found at Crissy Field; however, I was pleasantly surprised. Karl was in full force and the wind was whipping off of the bay. The path was pretty empty, which suited me well as I meandered toward the old fort and the mostly obscured bridge. Beautiful! And the fog horn added a nice touch. It was also cool to see the harbor seals playing around in the water on my way back to the car.

Great views of the Golden gate and easy to find parking. There is even access to sand and water from the bay, which makes for small waves and a great place for kids to play.

Beautiful spot when the weather is nice. Hard to stay long due to the fierce sea winds, but come prepared and you can enjoy the view for that much longer!Parking is exceptionally limited, but its a lovely spot to bike to. That is the recommendation way to visit!
