3 Fish Studios is a very cool place to buy beautiful posters many with the theme of the beautiful scenery of California. They have an amazing selection of photos and paintings and is also a popular place to get your photos and paintings framed. I was very impressed with the owner who offered me a cold beer when I entered her store. My wife and daughter had gone shopping in a nearby jewelry store and were planning to meet me at 3 Fish Studios. I walked into her store and when I explained that I was waiting there, she offered me a cold beer! It was the kindest and most amazing gift I could imagine receiving and this was before I purchased anything!

I love 3 Fish Studios like the bear on their infamous prints loves San Francisco. The owners were helpful and generous. I purchased an incredible framed print of the various houses found in the Sunset and its perfect for my home. Will be back to pick up some holiday gifts for friends and family.

With the help of marketplaces like Etsy, Good Egg, and Renegade Craft Fair, the products of artisans, artists, and craftsmen have been put on the forefront of popular culture. What is especially inspiring about this sensation, are those who have turned their passion into their life work. 3 Fish Studios, by husband Eric and wife Annie, is a working printmaking studio and shop in the Outer Sunset. Chances are, if you’ve been to the craft fairs around town, you would’ve probably noticed their iconic work. It’s rare for an artist’ work station to be placed at the center of the shop and not hidden away. But not here, this is truly a studio first – characterized by Eric’s paint stained hands when he shook mine. Classes in printmaking are also taught at the studio. Meeting Eric and Annie, you can’t help but want to be friends with them. Not to mention, they have a seriously enviable picnic table and garden space!
