I planned a work team building event here because we wanted to do an activity that was inclusive and unique. This place and the people did not disappoint! I interacted with Daniel and Kristen along the way, who helped with the booking, payment, and contract process. They were very professional and kind to me, who has never done an activity like this before. The actual street art activity was so much fun. I was a little intimidated before coming in, but the guide (sorry, I cant remember his specific name) helped us throughout the whole process. My team loved it! Im really happy we decided to do this.

This is the team to work with if you have any street art, graffiti or custom artistic expression pieces you need put up in SF. They were so so professional and worked tirelessly with me to find a wall that fit both my artist and my sponsors needs - it was a hard mix of requirements and they kept cool and calm and brilliant the whole time. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. And will def work with them again the first chance I get!

Had a team building event here. Ethan was fantastic and educated everyone about graffiti and street art. 1AM is definitely a well respected shop and staple in the area and Ethans passion was evident during the entire event. 1AM comes highly recommended for any team that is looking to do something out of the box. Great job!

I ordered $250 worth of paint from them and after trying every possible way to contact them they responded on Facebook of all things telling me they no longer sell paint online and that I’ll either have to come pick it up in person (a 12+ hour drive) or cancel the order for my business. They are unprofessional and business with them should be avoided if possible. Their being too lazy to ship the paint I paid for is now costing my business money!

Took my team of 12 here, and it was amazing! We did the gold package. The education around graffiti v. street art, to practicing tagging, to actually spray painting outside it was all so fun and informative -- everyone loved it. Seriously the team said it was the best event they have ever done. We grabbed some food and drinks from Whole Foods to enjoy during the event. Everyone at 1AM was friendly, helpful, and knowledgable. Highly recommended!!

I set up a workshop for my team to try something new after hearing how fun it was from another team in my company who had done 1AMs graffiti workshop.I found the experience enlightening and our group had a great time attempting to be graffiti artists. I initially thought the history portion might be a little boring but I found it very insightful to understanding the purpose and differences between street art, murals, tagging, and graffiti. I can say now that I appreciate it and will be more aware of different artists throughout the bay area!We bought the graffiti workshop package with take-home canvases. The experience itself is broken down to intros, a tagging session where you create a street tag of yourself and tag a canvas shared by your group, a history of various forms of graffiti and street art, a walking tour of some neighborhood graffiti/art, a free for all graffiti session where you get to do anything your heart desires on their walls, and then finally depending on what package your group buys you get to contribute to final graffiti piece (your group decides the colors and what the piece will be) either on their wall or on a canvas. Dont worry, the real graffiti artist will make minor touch ups ;)Thank you so much to Ethan and Maggie for hosting our group. They were fantastic! Also, thanks to their entire staff (shout to Daniel and Vanessa) for helping to scheduling and payment. Highly recommend if youre looking to do something more creative for your team!

Amazing folks with real street cred run this place. Great insights into the history and culture of street art. The best place in the city to learn to handle spray cans and various tools of the trade.

Boring and unnecessary. In for a graffiti workshop. Went for A walk around the block, the guy just rambling about random graffiti here and there, stickers on a light pole, etc. Things he could have said in 10 minutes took him 1 hour. In general a bunch of things that a normal person wouldnt care. Then went to learn how to tag, basically trying to teach a group of adults how to hold a pen. Finally drew a mural, but the guy did everything, he just let us color in a sketch he made and then he finished the details himself, after almost 30 min of lecture on how to hold a can of paint without getting sprayed in your own face, not rocket science of course. Almost died of boredom.
