One of my favorite nooks in SF. Came here just before evening descended with a little bit of light left in the sky. The view is so inspiring- especially in these pandemic times!

One of the best kept secrets on San Francisco is Ina Coolbrith Park. Small with just a few benches ICP has no bad views and are your reward after the steep incline trot up the hill, so leave you heels at home.

Living literally two blocks away from this place my whole life, Ive always taken it for granted until I moved away for college. Golden Gate Park is pretty huge and its great for walks or jogging. There are so many paths and this place never gets old! Its great for jogging because of the constant change of scenery, one moment youre running around a lake and within a few minutes later youre running along the bison paddock!

Gorgeous! This place is definitely a gem. The views are absolutely stunning. You have to find parking on the street. There is an incredible view of San Francisco and Alcatraz. The landscaping is impeccable. Super well maintained. Great spot to get away from your day to day life. I appreciated the fact that my family was the only one around. Very quite and peaceful. Its definitely a place you cant enough spot from the street, especially if you are randomly driving by.

Probably one of the COOLEST spots to an over view of SF city and Alcatraz.Best way to get there is to walk from Pier 39 ( that’s only if you don’t mind walking or hills).Went there in the afternoon, nice neighbourhood, fancy houses around, beautiful scenery, just a great place for a cute walk with the one you love!Or even for meditation! You SHOULD pass by it if you’re going to see Lombard st.

View North Beach from above. Ina Coolbirth was an early pioneer in California during the 1850s. A marker designated for the graves of Russian sailors from the 1840s is above the park. This is how Russian Hill got its name.

Without a doubt, this is one of the better kept secrets of the city. When it comes to green spaces, San Francisco has several locations with several thousand people all flocking to them at the slight hint of sunshine. However, if you want a more intimate space with the city unfurling before you while you sip Rosé and talk about boys and blockchain, this is the perfect park for you. I would also recommend this to those, that want to spread out a blanket and read a book amidst nature while not having to listen to the cacophony of noises from other people. This park is small, so go early and youll find a great location. If you are the romantic, this is a great place to be perched and read Cool gray city of Love: 49 views of San Francisco while looking at San Francisco.

Incredible views of the city. Recommend to anyone visiting San Francisco. Seems to be a local spot for exercise as the roads are super steep and the park is full of steps. Plenty of benches and spots to sit and take in the views. Downtown to the right and Alcatraz can be seen from the left.

The views here are something else. Have already been here like 3 times now and in love with this spot. Its a fairly small park with lots of stairs, flowers, benches to picnic on and gorgeous views. You have pretty much a 180 degree view starting from coit tower to the transamerica building with everything in between and on a clear day you can see the Bay Bridge and Oakland city from here. As you enter Inas Park on Taylor and Vallejo you can enjoy the secret views of Alcatraz. I repeat, needs to be a very clear sunny day so you can soak in these beautiful views. As you exit Ina on Vallejo and Taylor, cross the street and climb up the stairs for more gorgeous views on the Russian Hill -Vallejo street crest historic district with gorgeous views and neighbourhood.
