Nice little walk. It is not too overwhelming even for a lady that is 8 months pregnant.

Beautiful and unique place with eucalyptus flavor. One thing for photographers, daylight gives super harsh shadows from the trees so its not that good as in cloudy day or evening/sunrise. Using telephoto or zoom lens recommend to compress the space and create nice path trail in the background. Kids have fun playing with sticks

We love talking walks here. Its quiet and peaceful. Parking is a little difficult some days, but usually we can find street parking in the neighborhood to the west.

The nearest entry to the wood line installation is from the top of Lyon Street Steps and adjacent to Lovers Lane. The geo location tagged in Google Maps is actually the entry point, the actual wood line is about 100 meters down the eucalyptus grove. Span across 1200 feet long, the stroll along the wood line is refreshing and peaceful, not to mention the photos opportunities. There is not many people here, mostly local, you will definitely enjoy the serenity of nature here.

Brought family from out of town here on a nice sunny day and they loved it! A beautiful scenic spot in SF that not many tourists know about :). Pretty quiet on weekdays so I’d like to come here more often to get away from the city life

It’s a surreal experience walking through that path. You are surrounded by straight tall trees, yet you can get a glimpse or the city at times.

A nice stroll in the woods. We went during July, so it was nice to get out of the sun. Very broad space for many people to walk. Nothing very interesting to look at if youre looking for public art

The wood line can have such diverse meanings ... For my 8 year old, it was a circuitous path and he loved the challenge of staying on it.To me though it seemed like life itself..full of challenges, throwing me off and testing my will to stay on course.Loved the experience, highly recommend!

Deceptively simple and maybe uninteresting before I visited, but the actual experience of walking the logs that formed the wood line through this wooded area on the Presidio of San Francisco was very moving and emotional!

This price of art is interesting since it will eventually rot away like the artist planned it to. It just a bunch of logs connected together, but the placement of them within the small path in the park that it is in makes it beautiful. It adds to the uniqueness that is the Presidio. Its a great place to take photos. Its placed right along side the Lovers Lane trail, making it easy to find but theyre is not exact lane going into it which means you have to look where youre walking if you want to walk along side the woodline.
