We stayed in worldmark san fran it was a nice hotel the only thing is they dont have a parking there is one nearby but you have to pay. They have a complimentary coffee and tea in the reception. It was a self service if you are carrying luggages there are no bell boys to my observation.

The staff was great. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The bed was excellent. There was a desk with a computer and printer off the lobby. They also had a workout room, but really, given all the hills and places to walk nearby, who needs a workout room! The location is fantastic, about a block from the entrance to Chinatown. It is safe to walk around at night. There were nearby restaurants and a little market across the street. The only downside was that due to the convenient location, there was a LOT of street noise. I didnt sleep well the first night. The second night I turned on pink noise and used earplugs and slept fine.

Excellent location 2 blocks from Union Square where all main shopping is located. 1 block to Chinatown. General Store and quality restaurants nearby. Cable Car stops 1 block away. 20 minute ride to Fishermans Wharf $7 each. Older style hotel but clean and tidy. Comfy beds. Friendly helpful staff. Tea, coffee & water & computer available in lobby. We would certainly stay here again.

Very clean- not quiet- people are not shy about honking horns all the time here- its a very lively big city, just bring your earplugs. I like the lights that turn off for you to save energy. The location is great close to a lot of things to do, eat, see. Just FYI, there is a food donation box in the lobby to donate to the homeless food bank. They do offer the latest informational class for Worldmark owners. It is optional -you can say no. But, it is hard to say no to a free gift card ($50) and breakfast. I was told this was an express- it took 4 hours, we barely made checkout. I have never had so much miscommunication at any Worldmark before. Ive been a member since 2002- so they made it right- mostly....

.Awesome place to stay. The room was a perfect size with a small kitchenette, queen size bed with nightstands, table and chairs to eat at and two comfy chairs with a table in between to watch TV and relax before going to sleep. Our view was of the church and school yard. Dont let that fool you, it was very quiet when we were in the room. Finally, the staff was awesome especially Ted and Michael.

Worst hotel experience ever. This place is a time share trap and is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. We were constantly harassed to attend a time share sales pitch disguised as a brunch. The rooms were horrible. The hotel is next to a school so it is very noisy on weekdays. The shower took 5+ minutes to warm up and then it was either hot or cold. The owners of this location should be throughout ashamed of themselves. No pool at this location despite being advertised as a resort nor was there any room service or house keeping. Avoid this place like the plague

My mom is a Worldmark timeshare owner. We have spent the last 6 days at our amazing room in SF. The room we stayed in doesnt have a full kitchen but its really nice. We called in advance to see if our Google Chromecast would work and they didnt really know. Yes, Google Chromecast and other HDMI devices will work, but only on the tvs with multiple HDMI ports. The Function button on the tv remote opens the menu, go down to services in the menu and then to source. It should pop up the menu to switch to HDMI 2, from there you can connect Google Chromecast with your cellular tethering and it will work. Its easier if you set your cellphone tethering to the same name and password as your home WiFi.

Weve stayed here on 4 different occasions. Its easy access from the BART and cable cars and other transportation. We fly in because parking and transportation is crazy in San Francisco, but theres always a lot to see and do like Fishermans Wharf, China Town... I recommend getting the City Pass, which gives you free Muni passes for the cable cars($7 one way without the pass) and buses as well as free entrance to the Aquarium, Blue Gold Line Harbor Cruise, Museum of Modern Art etc...

Great location right next to the famous Chinatown and just a block down the street from Powell street where you can catch a cable car to the Wharf. The rooms are nice and the service is great! The hotel is in a historic building which is cool, but the elevator broke while we were there and the street noise is very loud. The AC units on each window let the outside noise come through so bring earplugs if youre a light sleeper.

One of my favorite places to stay in San Francisco. This old renovated hotel has personality and charm, but requires patience to wait for the slow elevator. The staff is welcoming and helpful. The facilities are well maintained and clean. I appreciate that they have a small gym and laundry room to use. I recommend using the valet option if you come with a car, as there is unlimited in and out privileges and the cost is reasonable.

Long time WorldMark owner and Im not happy with the condition of this location...This used to be a favorite for location alone, but Im probably cutting this stay short.Ya the rooms are small. Only one BR and studios, this was common knowledge. However, parking is upwards of $45 a night, its $15 for WiFi, my room smelled like butt, and there are loose tiles in the bathroom. And... WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND STORES A PLUNGER IN A CLOSET.---- Edit ----Front desk moved us to another room. Good job on service and customer response (raised review by +1 star). This room is an identical layout but smells better, and had no loose tiles in the bathroom. There is missing panel under the carpet that almost made me eat floor though.Ill probably stay the booked time, but Im disappointed in the condition of the hotel.

The staff is really friendly and helpful. Didnt do a owner update but wasnt offered one, which was fine by me. Made the trip even more enjoyable by not being harrassed to join one.The rooms feel old, but considering its an old building, they are comfortable and clean. Try and stay on the lower floors in case the elevator breaks down, which it has in the past.Coffee and water is offered in the lobby which is nice.Chinatown is just a block away and if you keep walking down, youll hit Little Italy. Union Square is in the opposite direction 2 blocks away. And The Embarcadero is just 7 blocks away. There are a lot of restaurants, coffee shops, bars and shopping within a mile of the hotel. And a little grocery store down the block. Its a great location to stay at if you dont have a car, though there is a parking lot across the street at $36 for a 24 hour period with no in and out privlage. Busses are just a block or two away, and Bart is about 5 blocks on Market Street. And of course you can Lyft/Uber anywhere. Or just walk like we did.Enjoy your stay! And remember to pack warm and cool clothes since you never know what the weather will be like in San Francisco.

Review №65

The location is rather convenient and most staff members were very warm and helpful. Those are the reasons for the stars. The reason for not giving more stars is bed bugs. Yes, our room had bed bugs and I got nasty bites. I even saw a bed bug although at the time I did not know what it was since I have never encountered one before. The little red dots swell up after I got home and I realized I got bitten by bed bugs when I got online to research and compare bite marks and bug pictures. Then I tossed everything in the washer, and wiped down everything with rubbing alcohol. Just praying that they did not come home with us. I did call the place to report the incident and ask them not to let anyone else stay in that room before getting rid of the bugs. Have not heard anything back from management.

I am a owner and have stayed here many times. Love the location as it is in Nob Hill and a block away from the Dragon Gates of Chinatown and several blocks from Union Square. As for the rooms, it has been renovated several years and its pretty nice. There are some intersting quirks such as walled window A/C-Heater and the plumbing is something they can do better. I understand that its a early 1900s hotel and respect that they try to keep that feel.
