Great place for a movie. The parking garage is very wide, spacious, and free. Chairs are comfy and the sound is great. And also, a wide variety of food and drinks. The restrooms are clean as well. Service has been all across the board. Hands down one of the best movie house Ive ever visited. Highly recommended to everyone I know.

One of my favorite theaters in San Francisco is Century XD Cinema. It’s apart of the Westfield Mall and has extremely comfortable seats, friendly staff, and a unique concession area that sells drinks, milkshakes, popcorn, and all types of snacks. The theater is clean and has about 12 screens, showing all of the new movies.

Last week, my friends and I went to this cinema house. We loved how cozy and comfortable their chairs are. The screen was massive, and the sound doesnt hurt your ears. The snacks that can be bought here tasted good. Especially, their salted caramel popcorn was heavenly. We enjoyed the movie and the snacks.

Beautiful venue. Ive been here a few times for the Moth Grandslam event (a story-telling contest). Id highly recommend checking out the Moth, but I also recommend coming to the Castro Theatre for any event. Its very centrally located near Market Street, and its right by the muni stop. The Theatre itself is spacious with vintage architecture. Really cool to be in an older theatre that has been so well taken care of.

Having a Java Chip Frappucino, since I have time to kill while waiting for my Charlie’s Angels movie at 7:25 PM. The staff are friendly and helpful. The theaters have reserved seating available. There’s a bar menu for those who are 21 and over. Aside from the usual movie food like Popcorn and Nachos, you can get Pizza Hut Pizzas and even an 8” Chocolate Chip Cookie that’s cut into pizza-like slices for sharing (or not ). TIP: If you’re a movie lover, consider joining the Cinemark Movie Club. For $9.99 a month, you get one Movie Credit each month that you can use towards a movie ticket. The great thing is that the Movie Credit rolls over if you’re not able to use it, so you can save to use credits for a movie night with friends at a later date. Your Movie Club membership also includes a discount at the concession stand/cafe. My Grande Java Chip Frappuccino was $4 (normally, it’s $5).

A superior movie place! Impressive interior! This was the first time I visited this place, and they never fail me on my high expectations. A polite, courteous, and excellent staff liked Mark was marvelous to deal with. Trust me! You will never be disappointed for sure! I will never let you down on their remarkable assistance.

Bought a private viewing for our daughter for her birthday. For 99 dollars you can rent out a room for the length of a movie. The kids can be as loud as they want and move from seat to seat and no one complains. The only thing is there isnt any popcorn to buy and you cant bring in anything from the outside.

This place is wonderful! Its extremely comfortable and a perfect spot to get a picture date. Fantastic excellent audio and cozy major room at a really inexpensive price. The entire area was quite cold and I adored it. The bathrooms will also be clean. Thank you!

I love this theater. The matinee price is very low. Clean theater, mens room, & general area. Reclyner seats that are not cloth! The rows of seats are far apart , so no feet near your head! Adequate concession stand with nice workers. I like how they have cheesy popcorn as a choice.

It is a nice theater with assigned seating that no one really goes to. It is easier to deal with than the Metreon, but it is kinda strange on a lot of points too. Weird concessions, and it is in the most out of the way part of the mall possible (top floor, escalators past the restaurants). For my taste though, if I have the choice between the Metreon and here, I choose here.

There nicest movie theater in town. The bar isnt as fully stocked as the Metrein, but opens earlier. There seating and the theaters are more plush. Also, you can access it directly from BART.

Awesome movie theater inside Westfield Mall. I was able to catch a movie while my family was shopping. The place is awesome and the movie theater I was in was XD with reclining seats.

One of the most sophisticated theaters Ive been to. Looks small from outside but their space is much bigger than many other theaters. The seats have lots of space to stretch legs and remain unbothered by the rest of the people seating in the same row. Restrooms are clean and very well taken care of. Definitely coming back!

One of my favorite places to watch since its close by! The plush seats are nice and the concessions are pretty good! Employees are always nice as well!

Wanted to see a movie then they told me I couldnt because my bag was too big never went back because my bag is always too big.

My son is 63, he is very happy in the reclining seat ,we should come here more often. Plus no one can block oir view because that seat level is superb:)

Like the Century in Napa, they serve beer and wine that you can take into the theater. And reserved seating everywhere. But the seats were super plush and the aisles were stretch-your-legs-out roomy. (At least in the small theater (#9) that we found ourselves in.) A superior film-going experience.

Look, I was a customer walking out of a movie during a slow part of my film for a refill and the manager on duty, apparently Travis (the night of 1/12/20) decides its not worth fixing himself. So, after a few minutes after acknowledging me asking how to get a refill he finally leaves the conversation he was having while standing next to the drink taps, he heads off to get someone else who was on break instead of just refilling the drink. Maybe he just wanted to involve me in his grumpy annoyance at the world. Look if youre mad at an employee dont take it out on a customer trying to get back to their film. Its a theater its kinda your job. Just

They offer one Matinee show per movie everyday! For 3 of us it was only $31 and some change, otherwise is like $20 bux a head.... U can pick where u will be sitting and reserve a good spot; if u pay a few days Im advance.

Century SF in XD is an incredible way to watch a movie. The screen is beyond huge with sound coming out of everywhere. Seating reclines for great comfort, there is a large amount of legroom and isle-ways

Went to the premiere screening of Scary Stories Wednesday night. It was a very Scary Story from the beginning to the end. If you are a scary movie fan this movie wont disappoint you. This movie from the very beginning doesnt linger with any story line. To bad some of the characters curiosity made them pay a dreadful debt they didnt deserve. This is a creepy deadly hide your face grab your buddy or date fright movie. Hope you enjoy like l did.

Tuesdays are $5 movies all day long.This is the place to be for an awesome deal.I have tried AMC across the street and their popcorn doesn’t compare to this one, this one from Cinemark has a better taste. It’s funny because it’s the same brand.Also found the fountain drinks be more bubbly here and more on the flat side at AMC.You can’t even get super nachos at AMC.I highly recommend Cinemark for anyone in the area and for those visiting and wanting to enjoy a day at the movies.

I love coming to this theater. Its on top of Bloomingdales. They serve Starbucks coffee, wine, beer along with other great snacks. If thats not enough you can take an elevator downstairs and choose between multiple restaurants. They have reclining seats that you can reserve in advance. You can definitely make a full day of this place. There is plenty of retail shopping, plenty of food, and you can get a top-notch massage right next door (book in advance ). There are so many different things to do in this immediate area. A parking garage is located directly across the street. The prices are pretty affordable. No validation from the theater.

The very best movie house in the city especially when you consider that you have the entire San Francisco Centre Shopping Center right below you with a number of great restaurants not to mention a food court at the basement level! Extremely comfortable seating and huge screens for your enjoyment. That movie that brand new movie that just came out will be that much more enjoyable at this venue!

I came for the movie, which was great. Seats were comfy. Snack bar is under MAJOR remodel, so it was a bit of a bummer. I had to track down staff to sell me my popcorn and drink. BUT... and here is the weird bonus - the little arcade is well priced, has great machines, and best of all - DDR. Come in during the early afternoon on a weekday and you have it all to yourself! I will be coming back for more arcade for sure.

The alcoholic drinks options are a staple when I come here. The concession line usually moves fast and I dont have to worry about being late for my movie as a result.

I enjoyed the labor day event a Hindi Indian movie that was packed to action and adventure the scenes were great the actors handsome and dashing as well as good looking guys.

Center for popular films. All modern facilities based on a 1950s theme. They have a lot of drinks and food. They have the luxury changes. As an older person, I find the movies to be mostly for teenage interests.

Great comfortable seats with super recline also foot and leg rest. Don’t arrive to late as its extremely hard to find seats in the dark here. Some kind of light or seats lit discreetly would help.

Century San Francisco Centre 9, is a really great movie theater to go to for all sorts of occasions. it is really quite Fancy with most if not all of the seats being extremely luxury with reclining views. the staff are nice and they got a large selection of things that you can buy and eat before or during your movie. And all of this for a very affordable price.

Nicely updated seats (now with assigned seating) and the theater has more and better options for food and drink too. The ads before the movie are extremely loud unfortunately, so I wouldnt recommend arriving to early. Also the line for the food caused me to skip popcorn, but Im spoiled by Alamo Drafthouse now.

Absurdly small bag policy, and no place to check a bag. Who has a bag less than 12x12??? A group of me and 5 friends went there, and every one of us had a bag that was too large. At least they gave us a refund...Walk 5 minutes to the Metreon instead.

Excellent reclining seats. Discount for seniors on Monday. The only weird thing is that they took out the ice cream counter and installed a wine bar! I still cant get used to that.

Very luxurious! The chairs are easily reclineable. And the chairs arent squished in the slightest! Theres plenty of room to walk in front of seated people, even when they are fully reclined.

Amazing location and extra flexible seats (better than AMC)Pros:- In the mall, so clean and beautiful location.- right on the market Street.- seats can be expanded all four ways- XD screen is really huge and nice sound system.Cons:- if you come with movie pass, they sometimes have restrictions and even if u have checked in, it says you have to pay extra difference because their screen is XD.- in the mall, so for first timers hard to find. Also, doors are closed few times. You have to request security and let them know you came for movie.

The seats are very comfortable and the experience there is amazing.

Large seats that slides back. We were allowed to bring the food we bought there in. The pizza was ok. The sound was sweet and have nothing negative to say about the experience.

Aside from the long lines and expensive prices (which is always to be expected in San Francisco) this theatre is very well kept up and staffed. The seating is amazing, reclining seats and well spaced. No ticket is a bad ticket in these theaters. Very clean and well maintained place with polite and helpful employees. Overall I saw 3 movies here and enjoyed them all and dont have any complaints nor anything negative to say about the place!

Best place to see mainstream movies in SF. Convenient downtown location inside Westfield mall, plenty of nearby parking at 5th and Mission Garage, very comfortable stadium seating so there are no worries about being able to see over other peoples heads.

Uhhhh what?!?! Last time I was there they didnt have beer and recliners and Pizza Hut. So, this place is my new digs for movies for sure. Bumping it up to 5 stars. Just, my kinda theater.

Loved our cinema experience here. We saw Crimes of Grindelwald in the XD auditorium & it was awesome...super comfy reclining seats with loads of space! We had a popcorn mix which was really tasty too.

This theater is located at the top of the mall. Its smaller than the Metreon, but its still a classy and well kept modern theater. There are reclining seats you can reserve as well as high quality sound and an XD screen. Overall, this is an excellent place for moviegoers.

Awesome movie theater located in the Westfield. I dont ever bother with the snacks because theyre just not worth the money but it seems like they have a decent variety and Ill give them credit, they do serve beer and wine. The movies have reserved seating which is the way to go and the sound quality is fantastic.

I was a regular customer of this movie theater until I became aware of how they disgustingly discriminate against African American movies. I have tried to attend this theater TWICE, hoping to find a showing for a highly anticipated movie and realizing this theater is not. It first occurred with Jordan Peele’s “US” and now with the movie “MA”. However the same theater company “Century” are showing the movie “Ma” at the Century 20 Daly City. This is very unsettling and disappointing. I understand theaters’ do not show every movie that is out, but these are highly anticipated movies which I trust people are looking forward to seeing, who don’t only live in Daly City. I reside on Market street and would like to go to the nearest theater rather than travel 20 mins to Daly City. I will be bringing more attention to this issue with hopes that it will be rightly resolved.
