Cant really say if its a good place or not. There hours are posted nowhere, and when I went by there was just a paper sign with closed written on it. Kinda makes me not wanna return

Great place with friendly staff. However, there are a lot of games here that I could just play at home for free. I feel like this place is specifically made for people who do tournaments. While thats awesome, the common person just wants to come in and play something new and different. Theres one rhythm machine in the back thats fairly decent. The other few arent so great. Hopefully new games and new machines will be added and things can be a little more exciting. The snacks are fairly common snacks, too.I recommend other Japanese arcades in the area if youre seeking something a little better. If youre alright with the atmosphere here and dont mind it, come here for a good time, and come for their tournaments. The tournaments here are the best in San Antonio from what Ive heard. Not so much a place for casuals.

This is my gunpla place. While I wish the employees had a bit more knowledge on it; I’ve always been happy and they don’t charge too much.

Never had a bad experience here and Ive been coming for years. They hold regular events throughout the week and have lots of cool nerdy stuff to look at and wish you could buy.

The first time I visited this place was back in 2015 when theyre still fairly new. They had so many figures and models to choose from and the staff are nice. I do my best to come back here whenever Im in San Antonio so I can browse through their figures and play a few games. Truly wish they also have a shop in Houston honestly.

Everyone here is so nice! Their selection is rad and you cant beat $3 for one hour to play a bunch of Japanese video games. I cant wait to go back.

I always go here for tournaments. Staff is friendly, and always answers my questions about their figures. This is the best venue for smash ultimate tournaments in San Antonio. They also have a great variety of Japanese snacks and drinks.

Definitely affordable. Cool merch. They play different anime (like the whole season) per day on TV and even host game nights for different themes. An arcade is also inside that is unlimited play by paying for hourly passes. Japanese snacks/drinks are also. Definitely a cool stop.

I went for the first time today with my friends. The entry fee for the arcade was a awesome price and just conveniently they were having a gundam event so I also got pizza and a soda. Not only that a chance at a raffle. The arcade games they had their were fun and addicting. Alot of fighting games but it be nice for like a dance revolution game or guitar hero. Both of those are classic and fun. They also had unique games i never played or saw before. The staff are friendly. Awesome snacks. Might be returning again soon.

Amazing. If u live anime its great. U can sit and watch anime while eating or drinking. They got arcade and console gaming. Also if u like doing models they have lots of them from gundam to dragon ball.

As a eighties kid, I could order anime from my local comic shop or out of obscure magazines, and wait 3 to 4 months for a video tape to arrive in the mail. This place is awesome, everything i ever wished for as a kid. Also a great place for Gunpla.

I came once on a night where they were having a tournament so I cant attest to how busy it normally is, but when I was there the main game area was a bit crowded. It was lively and filled with people passionate about games, so it wasnt too bad of an experience, but yeah its a little small on the upstairs area. Oh and this isnt the businesss fault or anything but I almost died on their stairs so watch out for those. They sell figures and some snacks/drinks so thats pretty cool. So yeah, overall pretty nice place, might get crowded on tournament days, but nice atmosphere.

Great shop with really kind staff and a very fun arcade! Their arcade has loads of fighting games, some racing games and my personal favorites: MUSIC GAMES.The place has a very laid back atmosphere which I appreciate and it doesnt have the typical nerd funk (bad smell) that other places typically have.The pricing is pretty fair on their products and use of the arcade is very cheap considering how many games you can play.Highly recommend to any anime fan for sure!

Gaming there is cheap 3 bucks for a hour of unlimited play. But the games are all in Japanese and there are no english instructions making it hard to understand. Also the games arent that good of games

Cool place with the arcade, and to shop for figures, plush, Gundam, accessories like keychains, etc. Also a nice little selection of Japanese snacks and drinks (Ive bought a few too many of the coffees), and they usually have anime playing on the TV, so you might find a new show to be a fan of. If youre at all into any of that stuff, or want to check it out, buy a gift for someone whos into it, etc., definitely a place you should visit.

Very laid back atmosphere. They always have anime playing near a couple of tables. In the arcade area there is a large selection of fighting games with little other to offer for other genres. I was able to borrow smash controllers if you give your drivers license as collateral. I like getting my laundry done at the nearby wash while spending a couple bucks to sit and play games while I wait. I like that they provide a space for the community, but it can feel uninviting on busy days.

Amazing place. Not only staff makes you feel welcome but customer and frequents welcome you to join them in whatever activity they have going on. They have nice inventory of several anine statues and model kits as well. The arcade area is something else. Featuring several game that are difficult to find or not available in the US. For real a long awesome experience for everyone even if youre not into anime and video games.

A great little arcade. Its not the old kind of arcade older folks grew up with. This one had several consoles with various games. Pay by the hour. Different tournaments throughout the week. Call to get times. There is also a space for various card games as well. Great people there, fun environment, well lit. Well be back.

The cafe can be full of activity at times or empty, but it always has an amazing relaxed atmosphere. They got figurines, Gundam figures, plushies, and they have their own display.Theres an area for sitting and just watching anime, where you can eat their Japanese snacks or drinks. You are also allowed to bring in outside food which is great because theres a pizza join right by there.They also have a nice gaming area with niche video games and they host video game competitions in there.If you like anime you will like this place. The only con is they only have one restroom, so if its pretty busy there will be a line for it.

They have a cool variety of arcade machines, including a Project Diva one! The owners/employees are the nicest, and the environment is always good. They also have a lot of anime statues that are usually hard to find. If you like anime or videogames, you NEED to check this place out.

Just wish some cabinets were louder, such as Guilty Gear and Soul Calibur, i love those soundtracks, why cant i hear them?In all seriousness, they have cute snacks, very cheap passes $5 for 2 hours and 10 dollars for whole day.. they even have a cabinet with over 500 games, two Project Diva cabinets, a jubeat machine, easy games challenging games, i love this place with all my heart. Also have a big selection of unique anime figures, not just the same old stuff you see everywhere.

Tournaments Thursdays smash ultimate. Fun

First time ever going here. I had contacted them before hand on Facebook regarding the policy of bringing your own computer or console and was told i could and there would be no issue. So i show up with my computer as i had wanted to show my friends all the games i have on steam and play them at a place that we could be away from home and even set up my VR. I walk to the front desk and ask the guy at the counter where can i set this up at. He looks at me puzzled and asks for what? So again i ask him where can i set this up to play games he asks me again with his condescending tone play what i told him my games on my pc he says to me to play what while raising his voice so i tell him again the play the games on my pc he then tells me well nobody has ever brought in a pc before and i dont know if i would feel comfortable you using out internet im sure you understand and this point im getting pissed so i tell him i dont understand because for one i dont need internet to play games off steam. I can play offline and its the same as a console and all i need is a tv or monitor and thats it same as console and i had previously contacted you all before hand about this and was told it was cool he tells me well it obviously wasnt me who you talked to but i guess ill just charge you the 10 for you and your friend to play here so we proceed to pay and just like i had told him start playing games OFFLINE as i knew we could. What kind of customer service is this. I mean seriously i come in to play and share games with my friends and have to put up with an attitude like that. A pc is the same as a console. You just need a monitor and thats it. Was this so hard for him to understand. Again this was my first time in here. I hope a better experience can be had on my second visit. over there as i fully support places like this and do see that many people review it highly so im assuming this is not always the case.

Very inviting and informative. Incredibly well-priced ($5 for 2 Hrs of gameplay); power cut out halfway through game session and got about 10 dollars of drinks and pastries for the 5 dollars I lost gaming. Rarely do people take care of you like that. Perfect place to feel at home.

Pretty good for playing rhythm games. Probably the most cost-effective place to play SDVX, Museca, Jubeat, Popn, and Groove Coastet on Earth. The staff is really friendly, the merch and snack selection is on-point, and there are usually fighting game events going on.

Caught wind of this place on a Reddit post. After my first visit and participation in their monthly tournament, Im glad to report Ill be returning again! Great staff to newcomers, great gaming community! A must-visit for any FGC player in San Antonio.

Loved this place. Really awesome correctables at great prices. For a cafe they only have soda and some pastrys; but they let you bring in your own food so great. Lots of other stuff going on and they have anime showing in the main area. Nice and cool as well.

Went recently for the first time to this store and I was blown away by what they have in a grand selection of anime merchandise.In addition, the thing that really blew me away was the arcade that they had next to the store area and really cool place to chill and the staff were very helpful and cool to talk to including the owner.
