One of the finest Marriott properties Ive ever stayed at. It truly lives up to the JW name as well. Stunning drive up to the hotel, grounds to walk on, and decor throughout. The water park is an oasis in the Hill Country. We will surely be back soon!

Going to San Antonio and want to feel boujee AF??? This is the hotel for you! We spent a long weekend here and I told my husband I was ready to move in so pretty, clean and so many amenities! I wish we hadn’t packed our schedule so full so we could’ve spent a day just enjoying the resort. Would definitely (and hopefully) stay here again!

Beautiful resort. Friendly staff. COVID has made it a little interesting though. Not all the food/restaurant options are open leaving you with very limited options so dont get your hopes up or set on anything in particular. When we visited they had closed all the parking lots except for the FURTHEST from the hotel, requiring everyone to park there! It was a little weird and frustrating actually.Prices can be high ($14 for a hot dog) and its VERY EASY to spend over $100 in just a couple hours in drinks alone at the water park because no outside food or drinks allowed. The water is clean and cool and the lazy river is VERY relaxing and enjoyable. Plenty for kids to do too!

I cannot say enough about this place. From the moment I arrived the hospitality was amazing. Staff members were very friendly at all times during my week stay. Rooms were stunning, w/ balcony access. Great views. Personal touch to a welcoming display on the TV to notes left by the cleaning service. The resort amenities were amazing. Everything from a huge pool/lazy river, outside fireplaces, lighted paths, fountains, golf course and wildlife, t his is a top 5 of best resorts!

I chose this because I know this is an amazing place to stay and it is. The view was amazing. We went straight to our room, enjoying the view and then my friend stepped on something and it was a piece of broken glasses but hes okay.I mean this is a 4 star hotel, this is not supposed to happen! He talked to Christopher at the front desk right away that hes not happy about this, he replied what the heck? and offered him to revacuum the room.I forgot to take a picture of the glasses because i had no intention to put this on the review, but I think they should know this.Sorry but I really disappointed with the service from Marriott. Will look forward to spend a holiday on other place.

Outstanding from start to finish. Just stayed here for our honeymoon and felt compelled to write a review. Incredible service & property. Golf and the spa are world class. They even upgraded our room and gave us a complimentary bottle of wine/cheese plate. Only in Texas can you visit a lazy river in November and watch the staff put up Christmas decorations.Thank you JW staff, we will be back!

What a beautiful place!! Stayed for a business trip, but seriously considering coming back for fun!! All of the different restaurants and bars in the hotel made for wonderful variety! The ballroom space was fantastic tons of room, and not terribly echo-y. Each room was beautifully designed, I was lucky enough to get a room with a balcony so the view each morning was phenomenal. Wonderful staff who were always willing to help! I recommend this place to everyone that goes to San Antonio now!

Everyone was very nice and helpful. We enjoyed the water park as a family, however there are not enough cabanas. Be sure to reserve early. We were very disappointed with the food choices and activities offered during COVID. When we stay in a resort, we expect to not have to leave for dining, but it was hard to get into breakfast unless you are an early riser, and it was impossible to get an 18 Oaks reservation. All of that aside, the staff was helpful and pleasant, and the resort was clean and well-kept.

We stayed here for the Pfannekuchen half marathon and really enjoyed out stay. The pool area is very relaxing and we had a good time floating the lazy river. The staff was so amazing, from the front desk to the servers and everyone in between. They didnt enforce the mask compliance but I really only saw a few not complying and it was empty enough you could avoid them. In our 3 days I never rode the elevator with another person. The pool area is the main attraction and it did not disappoint. It wasnt super busy so it was very enjoyable. I love that this resort actually gives you water for free, many places limit it but here its free flowing...like water. Theres a large open area for the kids to run and play and lots of seating outside and inside.

Using covid as an excuse to not keep your hotel clean is unacceptable. Both hot tubs did not work our entire stay and neither did the lights around the pools at night. One hot tub area reeked of booze with used cups and cigarette butts strewn all over the place. The walls in our room (king suite) were paper thin and we could not get a good nights sleep because of this. They also have taken away the robes that used to be provided in every room because of covid, as well as the ice machines. If you want ice, youll need to walk all the way to their restaurant to fill up your ice bucket! This would have been a 1 star review except that the water park was a lot of fun. But dont go to it hungry or thirsty because none of the food or drink stands are open because of covid. Not worth the money to stay here during the pandemic.

It was nice, I went when the weather was not the best but it was still a fun time with my family. The pool was nice and relaxing and the slides were fun even if you don’t golf the golf course is a nice walk. Rooms were clean, everywhere looked and smelled clean and the breakfast was good. As far as covid procedures people didn’t wear masks and nobody corrected them to wear mask, I was uncomfortable with the KARENS AND CHADS not wearing masks, but the employees didn’t correct them for it, and that was the worst part. That is my only complain.

Super attentive and helpful with taking orders and explaining the menu.We came after the summer season so the resort was almost empty which made the day more enjoyable. The Rivertop restaurant is nice and has many food and drink choices. The food all comes in sealed boxes for Covid. The adult pool has an amazing view of the golf course. It was a perfect daycation for relaxing. I can’t wait to come back next summer.

This place may be “luxury” and I enjoyed my first half day of stay here on Monday, but Tuesday afternoon is when it went down. I was in the bar with a friend just talking minding our own business when someone came up and struck up a conversation. It eventually came to politics and we all voted for Trump (this is Texas). We ended our conversation and around 10 minutes later a security guard showed up and said we were disturbing other guests. Mind you we were doing nothing and said that exact statement. He said that they would no longer be serving “your kind.” Seriously?! Do these people just look for a random hobo on the streets and say “hey do you want a job?” Long story short we ended up being chased back to our room for saying the “T” word. I never knew democRATS would take them winning this far. Worst experience ever, will not be retuning.

We recently had a company Christmas party at the River Bend Pavillion. It was a long walk but it was scenic - even at night - and well worth it. The venue was huge with a large dance floor. The food and bars were presented well. The food was amazing! I loved the table set ups and the quality and ambiance. It just made our company party so much more grand. This location for the J.W. Marriott is gorgeous. I would go just for a date to walk around. I love the way the hotel is set up, although I have never gotten the chance to stay the night here. Maybe one day I’ll win a couple nights at the resort. I’ve been here once before with my parents and partner. I would love to visit again and perhaps get a chance to enjoy the resort with the water rides and maybe some spa time.

Ive been coming here for years, but this is my first visit during covid. All staff are wearing masks and plenty of hand sanitizing stations throughout the property. Your only concern should be other guest. The lazy river and slides are all open. They are only limiting you from bringing coolers into the pool area. I really love the Cibolo Moon buffet for brunch and that was seriously handicapped due to the precautions they are taking for covid and limiting what people touch. I appreciate the safety, but miss the convenience and mass quantities of all the different foods they would set out. Otherwise, good trip per usual.

What an AMAZING stay. Took the family for a weekend just to get away and I left with a renewed passion in life and faith in humanity. The hotel is spacious and beautiful. But if youre in your room for anything other than sleep your missing out. Golf was awesome Ive never enjoyed playing so bad in my life. The course is so beautifully and I had to hit at least one shot barefoot (dont tell lol). Next the waterpark. Never have I seen so many well behaved kids in one place. The sense of community is pretty shocking as kids just play with kids no matter age or race...it was pretty amazing. Parents of all races looking out for whoevers kids were in the area playing with other kids. Even the adults by themselves were good sports and like I said the sence of community was pretty cool. Food...GREAT! But lets talk about sunset. At around 7 when the smore start people gather in the courtyard... relaxing, drinking , enjoying life. The kids again playing with whomever is near again cluster of kids every age and race just playing and enjoy The Texas Sundown. A truly magical time. This will be the only hotel Ill stay at now in S.A. and gives me much more incentive to take my wife to inlaws... A Complete Must.

Very nice resort in the Texas hill country. The staff was friendly. Rooms were nice and hotel grounds are beautifully landscaped. Had a good time in the water park, especially on the water slides. Restaurants had limited menu due to the China flu but everything we had was really good, especially the brisket nachos, wings and burgers and fries in the High Velocity sports bar. However there are a few issues. First, when walking around the water park from area to area your feet will burn! And the concrete surfaces are very slippery in some areas. I fell twice and almost fell many more times and I am very agile and sure footed. My wife saw kids falling down as well. There are some raised areas with no yellow paint that me and others tripped on. The bottom of the lazy river is very rough. Toes we’re all scraped up after just a few minutes in. Early in the morning there aren’t enough tubes and by mid day there are too many unused ones clogging the river. They should also have someone cleaning out the leaves and other debris in the lazy river. They definitely need more wait staff in the pool areas. Also, its a shame that they have awesome 65 inch TVs in the room with such a poor picture quality. For the price were paying they should have full HD. Overall though a good time. Will definitely be back to play the golf courses.

The waterpark area was perfect this time of year (October) and not overcrowded. The only reason for the sub 5 rating is that the room walls are paper thin and people were in the hallways yelling tgrough a large portion of the night. Then at the steakhouse we were turned away because reservation only. My wife just had a baby 6 weeks ago and this was our first date night. Then we are charged $1700 for two nights and meals. Then now i get another $400 plus in charges that we never made. How did my bill get closed out and now more charges. We only are 4x the entire time and one room service. Its us again, a last minute decision of going on a short trip, this time is for 4th of July celebration! Two of our families decide to come visit JW Marriott Hill Country of San Antonio. Due to 4th season, the rooms were about $650 each, and that was quite shocking to see while booking, but if you calculate down to per person, which you get a hotel room to stay and it also includes 8 am to 8 pm water park access that is right out of your room, this doesnt seem to be much anymore.Because of our Elite status with Marriott, we were able to use our upgrade coupons (only if there is availability) to upgrade the regular King bedroom, to a really huge suite , and both of our rooms (1390 & 4390) are at the Far East end corner of the lot facing the water park! Both rooms had its own pros and cons, and we did enjoy our staying with this resort.Because my daughter had swimming meet on Saturday, so we were only stay for one evening, or else we would continue staying and have fun with our friends till Saturday! The outdoor water park is also amazing! There are many tube slides, vertical drop slides, lazy river, kids slide pool, beach alike area, and a pool with amazing look over the golf course that surrounded the hotel. We had BBQ dinner at the courtyard looking out to the Hill Country golf course, it was a very nice experience of dining at outdoor on the grass, only downside was they run out of meat because of the whole hotel was packed with a lot of guests, and everyone got to eat!Room service was great! Especially the cleaning lady who cleaned our room, she was really friendly and very helpful when we needed her assistant.Check out time was a bit confusing! When we checked in, the front desk told me that since they are resort, by using our status, we can checkout at the latest of 2 pm, instead of 4 pm, later on next morning I received a message asking us to checkout before 11 am, then when I called the front desk, the customer service says 1 pm is what she can do. So I was all confused of receiving different information from different employees!Lucky that my friends have one more evening to stay, so we used their room to store our luggage, so kids can have more fun before we leave, and they could have place to take shower after the pool activities.Overall I would suggest everyone to come and enjoy the fun at this hotel, even at rate of $300, it is still worth for family of 4 to visit.

A few team members really stepped up and provided above and beyond service.Upon entering the restaurant (only 1 was open) Richard offered helpful information about hours and places to eat at the pool side etc. The next day Richard again provided help with grab and go food. I saw him going the extra mile for other guests with no stress and total ease in assisting stressed out guest. At the pool bar Will & Sam were some of the most professional bartenders Ive ever seen. Sadly some guests were upset about wait times for food, it was their FIRST day open, and these gentlemen handled all guests with patience at the highest level of hospitality. The managers walking around poolside and inside at checkin clearly had an eye for detail and every guest. The hotel premises are beautiful. The room was clean and comfortable. It was also clean, including the bathroom and well equipped. We went to take a breather from the stay at home orders. It was nice to see people wearing their masks indoors. The waterpark was not crowded and people kept 6ft apart in the waterslide lines. Also, families stayed together and as separate as possible. The staff sprayed sanitizer to the chairs, but I was the designated chair reservator for our family. So, I cleaned all our chairs and tables with Clorox wipes before our children came to the park. The food was pricey at the waterpark, but that is expected in a hotel. It was tasty. Drinks were plenty at the bar. Bathrooms in the waterpark were also clean. Our kids stayed at the beach pool most of the time. So remember to bring toys to play in the sand and water. Goggles are highly recommended because the pools are heavily chlorinated. There are restaurants nearby and delivery is available. All in all a great escape!

I will start by saying everyone that I encountered that worked at the hotel was incredibly friendly BUT I just dont think that justifies how much is charged per night on a busy weekend (nearly $400 per night when I was there).I checked into my room which was decently clean but we found a cockroach in the bathroom. I understand its Texas and bugs just find their way places, and when we mentioned it to the front desk, the girl asked if we wanted house keeping to clean it up or if we wanted another room. We said we had already killed the cockroach and didnt need to switch rooms. She then mentioned giving us a room upgrade, but it was clear on the other side of the resort and several floors up, a good trek with all of our belongings. We agreed on the upgrade and were extremely disappointed when we moved all our stuff to the opposite side of the resort only to find it was the exact same room type. Not only that, but the room next to us sounded like it had five children in it that were screaming and very loud all the way past 11pm and again at 7am.Next, the pool area of this resort is beautiful and spacious. The two days we were there it was cooler in temperature, low 80s perhaps. It would have been the perfect day for the hot tub... only to find out the heat and jets had been turned off in them for some unknown reason. We thought to ourselves that it would be great to float the lazy river then and enjoy some drinks only to see that the cocktails were $17+ EACH which is absolutely ridiculous. That night, we went to eat at the High Velocity restaurant. We ordered an 8-piece count of chicken tenders (coming in at $17.32), waited a long time for them to arrive, and they looked/tasted like Tyson chicken tenders out of the freezer. Definitely not Off the Grill like the menu claims. They werent even warm. How is this acceptable for the prices they charge???Finally, after attempting to take some leftovers back to our room since we paid a ridiculous amount for food, we discovered that there arent any microwaves in the room. Im sure this is to force guests to continue paying for their subpar, expensive food.Im very disappointed overall after paying so much to stay at a resort. Save yourself the money and stay somewhere else.

Love this place for a getaway. The service is absolutely wonderful, and the amenities are exceptional. A resort that feels almost as if you are out of the country due to the size of the property and the hill country surroundings, but still close enough to civilization to make a store run. This was our first time, but we soon saw veterans piling in with coolers, wagons, groceries, etc. as the day to day dining and drink buying on property can get expensive fast. The food choices are pretty good with something for everyone. The pools and lazy river are crystal clear and there are plenty of covered or shady areas to get away from the sun, but you have to claim a pool spot early or you will miss out on the best locations. I would come back to this resort every year for a getaway, and it is now my go-to spot in the San Antonio area. They even have a beach area around one of the pools with plenty of sandcastle tools for the kids and adults alike to build sandcastles. Just make sure to book this place as early as you can, and if possible take advantage of any and all discounts.

Our stay started out with the Marriott Bonvoy mobile app key not working. When we call the help number we were put on hold and then ultimately not helped at all but instead we were told to call the hotel front desk but we were not provided a telephone number to do so by the person who responded to our call for help. Someone did come to our room entrance finally and let us in and verified that our mobile phone key did not work and then told us that we would have to go down to the front desk to get regular keys.At the bar we ask for Absinthe but there was none to be had which we thought was unusual for an upscale hotel. We went downstairs looking for coffee in the early morning hours and were told that we either had to go to Starbucks on site, to go get takeout at the cibolo Moon restaurant or return to the room and make coffee there. Starbucks had a very long line so we went to the Cibilo Moon restaurant and asked to have coffee takeout and were put to the side while multiple other persons were seated for their breakfast brunch. After about 15 minutes we told them that we were leaving and Not happy to have to wait so long for a simple cup of coffee. One of the servers caught up to us as we were walking down the hall and gave us each a cuppa coffee but then directed us over to the payment counter where apparently we were supposed to pay for the coffee and leave a tip for the service. An upscale hotel should make morning coffee more accessible without all of the trouble. The room was adequate but nothing special . overall I would say we were mildly disappointed with the experience. On a positive note our Valentine’s Day meal at Cibolo moon was absolutely delicious and we enjoyed some of the best food that we have ever eaten.

The spa was wonderful (I had a massage) and even has a Bistro with healthy dining options, which was much appreciated after indulging in the other wonderful restaurants. Marriott’s ability to treat guests with courtesy and efficient during what was obviously a busy time is impressive.

The worst customer service ever at the front desk that we decided not to stay. Sara and the shmuk front desk manager were terribly rude and obnoxious. They refused to honor the rate that was given to us when we made reservations. Jared is all about titles but ZERO authority. They definitely both need to be re train on how to treat gusts with respect.Absolutely horrible experience and Jared told us he doesn’t care. By the way we have stayed here in the past three summers.

Amazing suite with a beautiful view of the grass lands and the fountain. Really prompt and thorough service. They take really good care of you. Great eating options in and around the place. Fantastic pool and slide setup, definitely worth spending an evening. It looks beautiful in the night with the lights. Also got a chance to star gaze with the gigantic telescopes, were lucky to spot Saturn and Jupiter. Humongous property with every facility you can think of. Comfortable lobby areas and conference areas. Really enjoyed the breakfast as well. Comfortable beds and bath.

The service was excellent despite the staffing issues post-COVID. Very family friendly, clean and food is great! Didn’t get a chance to try all the restaurants since they were closed. But, we hope to be back soon.

Beautiful grounds! Very helpful and courteous staff everywhere you turn! Rooms were beautiful and very clean. However…… I’m not sure if they were short staffed due to COVID-19 but everywhere you looked there were dirty glasses, dirty plates, napkins blowing on the ground, wet and dirty beach towels, trash seem to be everywhere. For the price point I would’ve expected a little higher standards and although we are having a great time and the staff is very accommodating I am deeply surprised and dismayed by the condition of the grounds! Check in the rate I booked was not the rate honored. Rate given to me was $120 more per night. Asked for flexibility in the rate, but none was given. Manager and front desk was very rude after being confirmed over the phone. Requested a feather free room and did not receive it. Did not receive water park wristbands at check in. Dirty towels were left in the room. And lots of trash all over the resort. Wait staff at the water park was excellent!

Not what I would call a resort. Small Water park + really nice golf course + hotel, ok. But resort, nope. Valet parking $30 a day, or you can park down hill and walk up. Clean rooms, friendly service, very soft mattresses (which I hated), huge freakin TV (way to big for small room) and the rooms felt warm even though the AC was reading 68*.

Highly recommend the JW Marriott San Antonio! This resort is absolutely top shelf in every way. I’ve stayed at high end luxury resorts around the world and this place is on par or better than most! The golf and spa are incredible and we can’t wait to come back!

Terrible service, inexperienced staff. Sloppy accommodations. Pools were dirty and trash was everywhere. Food was tasteless and greasy, overpriced on every level. Management was especially incompetent and looks like its the bottom of the barrel for the evening/night shift managers spend your money elsewhere, this was def not worth the hype and expense

If you have a desire to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life, this place is for you. We had a relaxing three days at the hotel. The kids loved the water park. The only gripe we had was the prices of the drinks and food. Other than that, the place was well kept and clean. They even had s’mores at night.

We frequent JW MARRIOTT properties as a family almost exclusively and enjoy their members and points program. My husband and I recently booked a one night stay at the San Antonio JW Resort and Spa with our three children. We had heard wonderful things about the waterpark there and overall hotel experience from friends. Keeping in mind we are in the middle of a pandemic, we were somewhat hesitant to stay at a hotel. However, we felt better that the entire state of Texas was now REQUIRED to wear face masks inside businesses as well as outside if they were not able to socially distance. In fact, in Austin you can be fined $2,000 for not following this order. The lack of guests not wearing face masks in the lobby, in elevators, walking around the pool (which was packed), going to the restroom, ordering food/drinks at the hotel establishments was absolutely incredulous. The hotel had up the requisite signage that You should wear a face covering (notice the word should instead of MUST), however fell short of actually requiring anything at all. There were the neatly laid stickers where you should stand, and the cones, and staked reminders along every path- all completely ignored. Not only did the hotel not enforce face coverings, they actually encouraged large gatherings of people by continuing to host special activities for kids and large group exercise classes. It was rather sad watching a large crowd of adults and children standing shoulder to shoulder to catch a glimpse of the winner of a rubber duck race! I will say that every hotel staff member we interacted with was gracious and kind and so helpful (all wearing masks!). However, this is not the place you want to be if you are worried about Covid, have any underlying health conditions, or have any respect for keeping your fellow humans safe. The management completely turned their heads in favor of business. I was expecting so much more from Marriott and regret we wont be coming back.

Checked out today and wanted to write a review and share my experience. Overall, the property is gorgeous and well maintained. The grounds and public areas are 5 star worthy. The restaurants were decent and food was okay. The individual rooms, however, are just average. My room felt more like a traditional Marriott room and wasn’t as nice as some other JW Marriott properties I’ve stayed in the past. The main reason for the 3 stars and thus average experience, is that I did not feel that the service was commensurate with the price paid. As is often the case with nice hotels, the devil is in the details. And this property dropped the ball too many times when it came to the little things. For example, the line at checkin was long and it took just under 45 minutes to get checked in.During checkin, I was asked if I wanted full housekeeping or just towel and trash service every day. I opted for the later yet no one came to swap towels and take the trash on the first day, and I had to call down and request this service multiple times. The second day the housekeeping came to empty the trash while I was gone yet didn’t bother change out the trash bags. Instead they just left a new trash bag hanging on the trash can. Really? You can’t take 10 extra seconds to actually put the trash bag in the trash can?On two separate occasions, I called down to the concierge via “At Your Service” and the phone just rang indefinitely and no one picked up. It rang for 2-3 minutes at which point I just gave up. On one instance this was to request room service so I didn’t eat that evening. This might be acceptable at a Courtyard Marriott, but not a JW Marriott. For the $400/night I spent in addition to the ridiculous resort fees, the service was subpar and lackluster at best. Would I return to this property? Yes but maybe during the week and absolutely not at the prices I paid for this trip.I had a great time because the place is fun and beautiful but due to the below average service I left feeling disappointed given what I had paid. Also, this place is very family oriented. If you’re looking for a quiet or solo getaway, this isn’t the place. It can get loud and the room walls were quite thin as I could hear the neighbors above and to the side of me most nights.

We stayed for a long weekend for the Stars at Night Half Marathon. It was our first time in San Antonio and we were completely blown away by this resort. The property is gorgeous, the rooms are very comfortable. They have activities for children all day and the pool area is amazing. My children are 5 & 7 and keep asking when we are going back. They had so much fun.

Everything went well except the food. The dinner at the Oaks was not a $300 dinner. There are many steak houses in Houston that would have charged $150-200 for the whole meal and it would have been a better steak and experience. Having to order from the preselected menu and not having the option to order from the regular menu was a huge disappointment. I tried to call the Oaks first from my room to ask but the phone didn’t work so I had to use my cell phone. Someone told me the reason for this is the chef can’t cook so many different meals because of the volume of people coming in the resturant. If this is the case, you have the wrong chef working for the resort. It appears the resort is trying to milk all the money they can from the customer on New Years Eve. I even checked their website before booking my room looking for New Years Eve activities and there was nothing mentioned which really confirms my last sentence. After we finished dinner I asked the waiter if the bartender could make a Brandy Alexander with ice cream without ice. He told me yes. I asked again to make sure the drink could be made with no ice and he said “Yes.” The drinks came out and there was ice in it. I asked the waiter about it and he said “I saw him put just a little ice in it.” Wow! I asked about ice, the waiter told me it could be done, knew it was important to me, saw it being done and served the drinks to us without saying anything until I brought it up. At this point I was so frustrated about the whole process I didn’t say anything and paid the $460 bill (before tip)...we had some martinis’ and Brandy Alexanders with “Ice.” The next day we tried to eat at the Tex-Mex resturant at 2p but we were told they were only serving breakfast until 4p. Hard to believe at a resort of this magnitude with all the different restaurants we couldn’t get a frozen margarita at 2p on a holiday. On a better note, An employee’s did try to help. His name is Will and we met him at the Tex-Mex resturant. He listened to our frustrations and even had the bartender try to make us some margaritas. Will should be commended for listening and trying to make a difference. John

By far the most family friendly hotel on the planet (no joke yall). So typically, when you vacation with kids you have settle of a cut rate hotel or worry about offending other and the uppity hotels where they turn their nose do. Not here, we were welcomed from the start and they were prepared for the kids. The smile of my kids faces was worth a trillion bucks. Ton to do for everyone on of all ages. The staff was super friendly and extremely, extremely accommodating. Grace the lifeguard jumped to my reschedule when my 3 year old had a small boo boo. She help avoid what would have been the great meltdown of 2k19. One of the best parts of the trip was coming back to a clean room and hand written note from Maria the housekeeper. Every single morning, Maria was there with a goodmorning, do you need anything? The Food? Excellent ! Typically the one thing that lacks at resorts. Not here, the food everywhere we went was great.Shout out to the leadership team here, you all run a well oiled machine. Nothing lacks, everyone is well trained and on point and you can tell it starts at the top. You should start a leadership training program (Ill be the 1st to apply). All in all, great, awesome, fabulous, amazing and every other positive adjective you can think off.

Excellent quality food (flavorful meals) and good staff/waiters.Overall a beautiful hotel, and from this experience will consider other JW Marriott hotel/resorts.

This property has everything one needs for luxury, recreation, and enjoyment. The staff goes out of their way to help and the rooms are spectacular. They were all recently remodeled. The 18 Oaks is one of the best restaurants (in terms of service and food) I have ever dined at. The spa also offers the best amenities of all spa experiences. And they even have 2 HUGE fitness centers. Wonderful place for business or personal needs. Clean and no maintenance issues.

Check in is a breeze, plenty of staff at all times during stay. You never had to go search for anyone. This is a big resort so it had really long hallways. Elevators are very fast at all times. Views are incredible, mine was overlooking the 18th green at TPC course. Room are big and well appointed with couches, hassocks and desk area. Tv is huge, with adapter wall plate for computer or gaming system hookup. It is Texas to AC and heat both worked well. Ample storage areas for clothes, bathroom amenities are Apothecary and some of the best ever. Small fridge was cold and hidden, in-room safe Bed was very comfy and plenty of pillows and coverings.
