We had a wonderful stay at this resort. Although most of their amenities are currently closed due to ongoing renovations, the heated lazy river offered hours of fun and relaxation for the family. We packed our coolers and lounged by the pool ever day, and pretty much had the whole place to ourselves. The 2 bed condominium was lovely and we loved the 2 large glass doors that extended out to the balcony. We also enjoyed the on site nature trail and saw many deer and racoons during our stay. Overall a very relaxing time, spent away from the crowds.

Great resort even during restrictions. Staff members were extremely welcoming the second we stepped in the door. The rooms appear well cleaned. The main pool is closed, however, the lazy river is still open which provides hours of enjoyment. Beautiful nature trail on the property. Great places to hang out around the resort.

If any one is trying to find good deals for hotels go to ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ made a reservation for a resort on there and these guys had the lowest prices worldwide! What a wonderful stay. Weve been working through this year called 2020, and finally in August had a perfect relaxing getaway here at Wild Oak Ranch. Though the pool was closed for resurfacing, we enjoyed the lazy river, putting green, table tennis, corn hole, and simply relaxing in the quiet shady areas around the resort. However, my absolute favorite part of this resort is the nature trail - over 2 miles of simple trail through untouched Texas hill country woodland. If seeing the moss-laden historic oaks is not enough, you can always find deer here quietly grazing, bunnies, raccoons, and occasional other wildlife. Come to the Ranch and see for yourself.

We had a great stay and excellent service. Outstanding scenery and amenities, grounds are well kept. Rooms were tricky to find but parking was excellent. The place is wheelchair accessible, they had enough parking spots as well as an elevator by the stairs. Rooms and bed were comfortable but they need a revamp. Good prices and great location. Stayed here to be closer to SeaWorld and other local attractions. Be aware of the additional resort fee they charge in addition to your hotel charge. This place is kid friendly, they have a sauna, restaurants, heated pools, and steam room. Great place to stay especially for families with young children.

Our stay was just okay.We were notified a few days before our trip that pretty much every ammenity on property was closed. I get it with COVID and all. Would have been nice to know earlier. Being so short noticed, we decided to still continue our trip because we didnt want to deal with cancelation and rebooking somewhere else. What was really annoying was that during the early morning hours, if other first left there rooms surrounding us, we heard nothing but the huge BANG of the door slamming shut. This went on all morning and every evening.Otherwise, the room was nice, the grounds were nice. But for the same price right now, you can save on the ammenities and resort fees and just go to your typical standard hotel and get the same experience for much less.

Feels like you’re miles from home, but you’re not. We went on a Saturday in November, so it was pretty quiet. The scenery and amenities are outstanding! Woodsy trails throughout the property with beautiful landscaping. Golf course, treehouse, lazy river, indoor and outdoor pool both with water slides (outdoor pool was heated), splash pad, arcade room, media room, volleyball court, gym, a small amphitheater, fire pits, deli/store, restaurant and spacious rooms (we stayed in a “Studio” with a balcony). I can’t say enough about the property’s natural beauty, set in the Hill Country of San Antonio with deer roaming freely. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. There is a sister property (Hyatt Regency Hill Country Spa), so be clear which one you are booking. They are only 4 minutes away from each other. With either booking, you are granted access to the other property. We went to the other property to have drinks. Only saw the bar area. Service was great and the bar is quite large.Would definitely like to return during the summer months to experience all of the outdoor amenities. Our rate was $179 plus taxes. Parking is free. Highly recommend even if for one night.

We had such a nice visit here! We stayed in a one bedroom and it was a very nice room! Our kids enjoyed the giant bathtub and liked sleeping on the comfortable pull-out couch in the living room. The kitchen was very nice to have I definitely recommend going in the off season. We went in October and still were able to enjoy the beautiful pools and lazy river with sandy beach, but we had it all to ourselves! There are kid activities at Camp Armadillo near the pool, and you can check out movies and shows for free to watch in your room. Everything is very walkable and close, and we had a nice balcony to enjoy as well. We used the grills outback a few times, which they will fire up for you and very much enjoyed our stay! They have a little put put mini golf to use, just pick up clubs next to it.

We loved staying here last year, but do not stay here right now nor during covid. Everything is under construction or closed for covid except for the lazy river. No pool, no water slides, no restaurant or pool side service, no hot tubs, no game room or gym, etc. And being babysat to wear a mask down the sidewalk to the river, but taking it off to swim with everyone anyway is super annoying and nonsensical. Didnt feel like a real much needed vacation and was a super waste of money.

Stayed here as part of a promotion for a time-share for 3 nights. The rooms were spacious for a family of four, although the couch sofa was way too firm/hard -- not good for the back! LOVED the lazy river -- it was fairly scenic given the forestry and beach area. The outdoor pool connected to the indoor pool and was decent enough -- a little cramped when it got busy, though. JBs is the restaurant onsite -- it wasnt anything to write home about. The pulled pork, made on site apparently, was extremely dry. Service was kind of absent here -- never really received any hellos or friendly gestures from the staff -- it felt rather empty in atmosphere.

This is a wonderful little secret. Its like an extension from the Hyatt Hill Country Resort. They had put on a live Grinch play in the outdoor theater during the holidays adding to the magic from this hidden nugget. Not sure about how to stay on the property directly, I believe it is a type or vacation club or timeshare as they appear to have a pretty significant investment in some sort of sales experience. It is a beautiful property. Not like your typical Hyatt Hotel, it is very spread out, and more like an apartment complex. It is a Residence Club, and they do offer to give you a tour and develop a timeshare relationship with you. They are not pushy, and dont apply massive amounts of pressure. But, the property is gorgeous, and tucked away. A bit of a haul to get into SA with the morning and evening traffic.

Very nice weekend retreat with enough onsite options to hide away if you dont want to visit Sea World or other local attractions. Our suite had a few quirks that might not bother most visitors. The big jetted tub was difficult to enter or exit without a step stool, not provided. The toilet also blocked access to the shower controls to start the water. The layout was perfect for the two of us, and the extra murphy bed and sleeper sofa ate roomy enough for a family or VERY close friends for a few nights without much privacy in the room. Plenty of ways to escape each other onsite during the day.

Was invited here as a potential Owner in Hyatt Residence Club. Trouble started before I even set foot on the property....A few days before arrival I received information about the resort from three people. Most was repetitive but that wasnt readily apparent because it was formatted different. Other information was contradictory to one of the other senders. One sender was the concierge who wrote that hed call me but that I could also call him. Four days after his email, which was two days before our arrival at the property, I hadnt received a call so reached out to him. No answer at his number - not even voicemail. I replied to his email saying the same and asking for a call back. He emailed later to say theyd had multiple power outages and hed do [his] best to call me as soon as possible. Well, ok, thanks for the commitment, I think. He called toward the end of the following day and I made an unanswered return call about 30 minutes later. We were traveling the following day and I said that on the voicemail. No call back before our arrival. We arrived and he was standing at the concierge desk. I told him who I was and he said, oh, weve been talking about you today! I said Id been talking about them too and not in a good way. He asked why and I said it was too difficult to reach him to which he fumbled around blaming various issues. We got checked in and up to the room. We planned to go straight to the pool so I called the front desk to confirm towels were there. No answer after NUMEROUS rings. I called the concierge desk - no answer after NUMEROUS rings. Called the front desk again and no answer. We headed to the pool. Pool area was nice.Returned to the room for dinner, our son took off his shoes and was wandering around the room. By the time we got ready to leave for dinner his feet looked like he was a feral child whod been running around a wet forest for days. To clarify, the room floor was clearly filthy and hadnt been cleaned after the previous several guests. The filth was further evidenced by the paper towels I used to clean up water I spilled in front of the fridge. The balcony floor was also filthy and the patio table was fairly filthy with various liquid spills. We ended up going to Walmart to buy a pair of flip flops for our son. We had brought him socks but clearly that would have been insufficient.Bathroom sinks everywhere on property (pool, restaurant, etc...) are all large farmhouse style mounted so high, and are so deep, a 7 year old struggles to reach the soap mounted next to the faucets. My 5 year old who is very tall for his age couldnt reach them alone so we always had to accompany him to the bathroom. An inconvenience. Complete lack of forethought on the part of Hyatt for a property that caters to families.Speed limit on the property is posted as 7 mph but not followed by the employees. They were ALWAYS traveling in their golf carts well over 7 mph. I was almost hit entering a crosswalk because a cart was cruising up a hill, on a turn, well above 7 mph and had no way to stop. The driver was not a regular hotel employee because he had a sport coat, dress shirt and tie, and dress pants. I made a joke to my wife that it was probably the Residence Club rep we’d end up with Sunday of our visit (obligatory sales pitch presentation). Turns out that was exactly who it was so made for a fun sales presentation.Caterpillars - youre thinking, Huh? There were signs posted advising its caterpillar season so “watch your step”. There was a photo of a caterpillar. Completely absent was that the pictured caterpillars, so the ones to watch for, are southern flannel moths which if touched cause a stinging, burning sensation and a rash. The place feels like Great Wolf Lodge. Daily kids activities, some free, some $2-$3, some $30-$45. They also have what they call a Dine In Theater for which a meal and movie breaks down as $10 for movie, $15 for food. Clearly neither one is worth that price.

While there is not room service etc. you get a full kitchen, a much more spacious room for a fraction of the price of the sister hotel. While staying you can utilize amenities at both properties. The onsite pools and lazy river are awesome, our 3 and 5 year old loved the kids club and we all enjoyed the pools. I think its an amazing value and we visit often

Beautiful place with great landscaping throughout the property. Lazy River and three jacuzzis. Great casual restaurant on property. The rooms are condos with full kitchens with ranch style decor. The pool is indoor outdoor and heated. Great for relaxing. Highly recommend.

Never, ever go here. Service sucks, prices suck, never again, and they want to sell me a time share? Fat chance, i.never be back. Motel 6 has better service...

The hostess in the store Devina is great at customer service. She greeted me with a warm hello and met all my needs.
