Cinemark McCreless has taken COVID-19 Safety Protocols to ensure us of having a movie night.Everything was great and we had a great time watching a classic, Beetlejuice.The theater and online ordering of tickets on our Cinemark Movie App also helped.You can also order tickets at the concession stand counter if you dont have the app.Seats are assigned with social distancing in mind, but you can sit together if your with your family, and the rows are also separated.We felt comfortable and so did our kids and we will be coming back to support our movie theater.You NEED to wear a mask if your coming to see a movie.Join the Cinemark Movie Club and get the perks on snacks and tickets and more!!We will be coming back to watch more movies.

First time since this covid has been happening... Place was clean, masks required, they sanitize before and after each viewing. Spacing was safe and perfect for all in theater. Thank you for the great experience..

Did a private watch party felt super safe. Theater provides everything wipes , social distancing and discounted snacks. My Family had fun.

Not too far in a area of san antonio where its enjoyable and pleasant as long as you avoid the patrons who go there to ogle at others trying to enjoy a good time like the way their tickets are sold when you almost get there late and the concession stands stay diligent to serve you

Great place for a family outing. No trouble amd very comfortable seats. Enjoyed a good movie with my daughter and woman there.

If I could provide zero stars I would. Bought my tickets. Was drinking ice water in plastic cup. Water. Ticket booth guy named Carl takes his job seriously as if he works for Congress, would not allow me to take my CLEAR see through, plastic cup of water. Manager previously did not have any issue with it. Asked for manager for this visit since Carl was wanting to put his police badge on and I met Derek who apparently was commander in chief who also saw my plastic cup and agree with Carl. Never got to speak to an actual manager, been going to this theater repeatedly every weekend and NEVER encountered any issues or discussions about a clean plastic cup. So. Derek’s gave us courtesy cups to pour out our waters into a tiny less than 8oz paper white cup and had to throw out the rest of our water. Doesn’t sound like a big deal right? Conceptually their resolution made ZERO sense, will not be seeing or doing business with any other CiNEMARK theaters, especially after Carl continues to ramble on how 80 years ago the movie theater had the same rules. My god, it’s just water. I’d rather buy a water somewhere else and pay the full price than be policed by Carl and Derek. Zero customer service or any shred of empathy.

For being a smaller theater, its actually pretty nice. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Its one of the cleanest theaters in the city, and its a one-stop-shop for ur tickets and any snacks or drinks you want. Super convenient, right?!

I enjoyed ticket prices compared to Santikos!!!

I have been going to your theater since my now adult kids were kids. But never again will I attend. I purchased my Avenger D-BOX RESERVED tickets ahead of time like all the millions of people did. Purchased mine on the 16th of April at the counter of the theater, but I was not able to enjoy my movie because my seats were resold to someone else a week after. Even after the manager was told that the other customer bought their tickets with a 3 party vendor. They were not quested, but i was suggested to come back another day. Are they crazy the biggest movie of the year maybe the century and your telling me to come back.. When? all the shows are sold out. That is why I was prepared and bought them early. I was promised a refund that as of today I have yet to receive. I was contacted my a GM but the communication has stop. So unless you are buying your tickets there and walking. I would not recommend this theater to anyone.

Even after the upgrades this movie theater is still small and is in need of another upgrade. Felt smashed in the concessions line. An if theres a crowd it felt like being hearded into the actual theatre. Sests are so so and just lean back and not recline. Its ok i guess when you wanna see a movie and your in the initial area.

Showed up for the matinee viewing of frozen 2 and it was 4.75 per person. That was a good deal. Snuck in all our snacks from the dollar tree where old heb used to be in diaper bag and nobody was the wiser

So, so love this theatre. The building itself is a fresh build, but the theatre has been in this spot since the 70s. Its been a staple of the community for decades. It was attached to what use to be McCrelees Mall. It was a maybe half blocks walk from JC Penney, anda place that use to do shoe repairs. , anybody remember?, the mall was massive, and the theatre was like a crowning jewel, most likely anyone who went in to shop, inevitably stopped there to see a movie on their way out of the mall, especially families with kids. I went there on a weekly basis with family, friends. So glad they didnt abandon it, its now better than ever. The seating, the sound system, everything is new and improved. Even though for many of us, its not just about the technological strides they physically made, its quite nostalgic, and sentimental. The staff as usual courteous, kind patient and most helpful. When I go here to watch a movie its like visiting an old friend and hanging out at their house. Do bring you family, friends and loved ones, they will be welcomed with a smileand well treated. The food is good, the atmosphere is wonderful. Enjoy!!!,

Prices are a bit lower than other chains. Seating is comfortable with quality picture and sound. Place is kept clean and the snack bar is basic. I enjoy this location.

Im assuming they mean the theater. Went to see the new godzilla. Theater was nice. Had an arcade. Concession was a little small so Id be interested to see how they do when its packed. Place was clean and staff were pretty friendly on telling us where to go. Ill definitely go back.

Comfortable chairs the workers are very friendly the two girls that were there are awesome Mary and Virginia were there names they are very fast.

It worth the 35 minutes drive all the way over there, simply its good theater with cheap tickets for new shows, yummy popcorn, and clean restrooms.

Ive been coming to this movie location for the past 8 years its one of the best movie theaters in town, I wish the senior citizen price for a little bit cheaper its only a dollar savings when on the north side of town they have senior citizen rates for one or two dollars for the movie, Ill be coming to this movie theater for years in the future.

Worse movie theater ever been to I highly don’t recommend it. They did not allow me and my friends who are all over 18 watch a rated movie due to having my little brother with me who is 12. Even though I have full custody of my brother they resisted asking for our mother asking for documentation. Did not know I had to bring documentation to a movie theater (court house). Then the so called manager critized my brother saying he did not look 12 due to his looks and height . Then she asked for all our ids. I showed her my military I’d and she checked if I was over the age of 16. Like common sense, did not know you could enlist under the age of 16. So unprofessional never again . I went to Mayan and they were so much organized. They asked if I was 18 and if the child was over 6. Then they allowed me in proudly saying to enjoy our movie.

I went to go see the joker movie with my family and one friend and even though it wasnt a problem before they told us we couldnt watch the movie because our friends parent/s werent there but my step dad was there with all of us so now my mood is ruined

The service here is pretty decent however the seats are not as good as the other theaters in town and for some reason they cost exactly the same. Went there and seen instant family it was pretty good. Had some nachos they were pretty good too. Really the only reason why I went there is because a friend of mine took me.

Love this Theater! It feels safe. Its always clean. Never crowded.The people working are always smiling and polite. Its a pleasure to watch a movie here.

Before the review, the Cinemark is next to the Rainbow store and 2 spots down from Marshalls. This movie theater is a step down from the fancier theater. Its prices are fair because of this but a few things it doesnt offer: choosing your seats and leather seats. Overall it isnt the nicest movie theater but Im happy that the carpet doesnt smell, seats didnt either, and the movie quality wasnt bad.

Horrible staff. They used to be family friendly but now they all hate their job and take it out on customers.

1st visit here, was just ok.. Had to get tickets at concession area, kinda odd, then to get snacks had to get in a separate line even though nobody else was there behind us. The guy selling tickets and the lady collecting them were very nice and friendly but the guy we got our snacks from seemed annoyed with us for taking a minute to see what they had and we wanted! Its not like there was anyone behind us, he just seemed like he was in a rush! Overall the movie was great but my seat did feel a little broken. Would most likely see another movie at this theater again one day.

Ms. Mata and the leadership team does not train their employees correctly, I was discriminated by having a small backpack which they have a policy that you cannot come in to the movies with a backpack, however I saw a lot of females walking with their back packs and they allow them to come in. I went to city base movie where they just check you back pack and you are good to go... do not come here!

Nice clean empty movie theater to go to while the kids are in school and everyone is at work.

Service is great and they are really good when other people lose their cool for no reason. The only thing that is completely annoying is their bathrooms. They are so small. It looks like who ever built them just tried to stuff a bunch of stalls. Also their hand dryers are so incredibly weak you re better off wiping you hands on your clothes. I hope they invest in Dyson hand dryers like the ones at HEB. They are however always clean when I go. Ive never seen them run out of soap or toilet paper.

Once, this place was the hidden jem of the south side, good food, affordable prices for treats and tickets, and great customer service. But now, its just a shadow of its former self. They are stuck in an old way of running things, and its hurting us, the customers. They dont have a saved seating system in place for ordering tickets online so you still have to either risk buying and going at your leisure or go early for a few hours to get a good spot. Im just over this place and the only saving thing about it is the nice ppl who work there .

This is a small no frills theater, no fancy comfy seats or assigned seating. The box office was at was at the concession stand, a little different. The staff was friendly and the snacks were average movie snacks. The bathrooms were not super clean, but have seen worse. It was our first time here and might come back if we are in the area again.

Real nice shopping plaza. Marshalls always has great selection. Went to eat to panda express and the food was alright but portions way smaller than other pandas Ive been to.

Worry about other stuff I am just there to see a movie nothing else matters if I want better seats I can stay home or go else where like downtown but I want to stay close to home I have always liked this place even back when they had movies for 50 cents on Mondays back in the day lol I don’t really eat there every now and then I know one of the staff good guy he takes your ticket thank you guys for letting me have a place to watch a movie close to home and the games are fun I play some times

Love it. Its really quiet for early birds, even on the weekends. They send food to your seat if its going to take a while. Area is safe and its a good place for 3d movies and dbox since the Mayan theater looks like they dont do 3d anymore.

This is my go to place for movies. Cause it is the only place that doesnt have assigned seats thats a big plus cause I hate sitting next to a stranger. Plus I live down the street and they get all the dragon ball movies. Staff is very nice and have all smiles. Will be going back all the time

I absolutely love this place. So it is a bit smaller than some around town however they do have a game room and theres a cozy atmosphere too perfect for dates they always have security there so I feel safe with my family and love that they will sometimes have movie t -shirts or other movie merchandise for sale along with a variety of snacks and drinks

Got out after a 12 1/2 hour shift to watch end game with my reserved d-box seats. (I dont have much time with 2 jobs and school) my seat was taken up cause 2 different groups overbooked their tickets and so they slid down and took my seat. No one else had my ticket except for me yet I was the ONLY ONE asked to refund my ticket. I was looking forward to seeing this movie for a long time which is why i reserved my seat. I dont think I will continue going here after this especially for exciting movie releases. The refund wasnt worth my time and my movie experience with them.

Theyre the typical theater, nothing special. We go here for the price mainly. Wish they would do reserved seating and upgrade to recliners, then they would be a lot better and up to todays standards. Just like all theaters, their food and drinks are way overpriced. The movie quality is good here and the staff is very friendly.
